They went to jail because they were part of the group called muslim brotherhood, in Egypt. These muslim brotherhood killed many innocent people. Exactly the opposite of the muslim way. Mubarak is a tyrant I agree, but they need to change their methodology.
It is because the Egyptian regime did not like their way of thinking. These man you see were members of Ikhwan-al-Muslemeen and all they wanted was to re-establish Islamic Sharia in Egypt. Mubarak-like tyrants gets nervous and wants them out of their way.Because, he represents evil and Sharia disposes evil.
