  • Damn onions....

  • Peace and tranquility through strength of our armed services during the holiday season."We are proud to claim the title of United States Marines".

  • im 23 now, and every Xmas i go to Walmart or Fred Meyers and buy a TON of presents. not for me, not for my kids.. but for kids that dont have the parents there to do so.. or the kids that have parents that are struggling to buy gifts.i remember being a little boy ,at 8 and 9,and wondering why santa never came to my house, would really mess with my Mind.id start thinking i wasnt loved, or was bad . but my parents were poor. so i thank Toys for Tots. and boys dont get many from tots. mostly girls

  • Oh and whoever disliked this,Can go to hell!

  • It's amazing how marines,-Who are already protecting our country,Can care so much about children that they're working to make sure every kid has something to unwrap on christmas morning,-Marines Rule!

  • Awww!!! ^_^

  • Seriously, who can dislike a program and commercial like this one? Great job Marines! Keep it up!

  • me and my family donate two toys every year.

  • Great stuff, thank you marines, T4T, and all related organizations who make this possible.

There but for the grace of god go us all.

  • I'm glad that my unit participates in this event every year. In proud of being a young marine.

  • always just black and white.

  • My unit, CA 933 AFJROTC, recently did a Toys For Tots drive. We collected over 500 hundred toys for the Marine Corps. It fills my heart with joy and pride to know that I helped deliver happiness to someone in need.

  • Doing a Toy drop...IF U CAN?! hmu if ya interested!

  • Semper Fi Marines....thank you for what you do !

  • While doing this as a young marine(didn't get any gratitude) one little kid asked me, "are you a army man?" real funny.

Oorah to all the Marines out there,

    Merry Christmas, NOT happy holidays

  • @DraketheGreat1000 Thanks for being making this about your cause. It doesn't matter what you believe, the marines are doing great work. Thank you to all of them, no matter what they believe!

  • Wow, shivers ! Ooh-Rah Marines !

  • The Marines -- They do everything, including helping out the disadvantaged.

  • The Marines have 3 jobs 1. Win battles, 2. Being the most badass mother fuckers in the world, and 3. Giving to those that have nothing!

  • God Bless the Marine Corps and may God bless and keep each and every one of you. Your service, your commitment and your unwavering patriotism stand as a a beacon of inspiration in an often cynical and sad world.

  • Thank you Marines, for everything!

  • Since 1957, we have turn the other cheek, the cheek of kindness and love. I'm Marine Veteran and I have given to the TOT since 1970. Pls give this yr, it does not take much to brighten a child's face on Christmas morning.

    SEMPER FIDELIS, OOORRRAAAHHH!!!!!

  • In Iraq, marines give other class of toys...

  • If this doesn't bring a tear to your eyes.....LOVE IT!

  • I just absolutely love the look on those kids' faces. Can't wait to enlist in the next two years!

  • Having been in the Marine Corps and involved in the Toys For Tots program i can tell you that there is nothing that makes you feel better than seeing the faces of the kids as they get the toys and tell you that you are the best and that they haven't had toys for christmas before. As for the Marines delivering the toys? No, it is just for the commercial people. And this year at least in the madison area it is being managed with the help of the Salvation Army. Great Job, keep it up. OooRahh!!

  • Id give anything for a house like that :(

  • This Comcercial tells the real story of What Marines do for children and there parents and then you have a real jerk like this say this is a fake ...I ask you to meet me at the Devoe Car dealership on December 17 to really see what we do for children in Collier Coutny Alone there is over 25000 children that will not receive anything this christmas so i urge you and your big trap to come see me AC

  • Marines are awesome!

  • This is what poverty looks like? Here I was, thinking that Toys for Tots helped kids in need-- not kids living in pristine two-story suburban houses.

  • @junipermama1 Dude it's a commercial for one of the greatest causes out there. If it wasn't for The Marines some kids wouldn't have a Christmas. Next time you got something to say and it's something stupid like you just said do us all a favor and KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!

  • @junipermama1 Your a jerk

  • @simsgirlgem Nope, not at all. I'm not opposed to helping kids in need. I'm opposed to the idea that *this* is what poverty looks like. Ever been to the projects in Detroit? Or a trailer park in rural Mississippi? Those are the people who need Christmas gifts-- not these kids.

  • @junipermama1 I grew up in a trailer that was 30 years old with no heat and holes in some parts of the floor so Yes I do know what its like my dad a mechanic and my mom working double shifts to try and give me and my siblings a good life

  • @simsgirlgem And you would have benefited tremendously from Toys for Tots. These (fictional) kids aren't in that dire of need.

  • @junipermama1 Dumb ass Where in every city in the united states since 1947 including 12 other coutries helping children where are u

  • @junipermama1 Its a commercial intended to inspire people to give a toy, not a fact finding mission by the Marine Corp. Marines have taken toys to children in all the places you mention, for decades now, including shit-holes your pansy-ass would not come back from.

Sounds like you need a little Christmas Cheer, I'm sure 1980jarhead would be willing to impart some to you if you happen to be in his AO on 17 Dec.

    Semper Fi Marines!

  • @junipermama1 Pristine? Suburban? The house shown is the better part of 100 years old. I've seen hundreds of houses like that in my line of work. What you can't see are the corroding pipes, damaged roof, peeling paint, cracked windows, cracked/leaking foundation walls, old and frayed wiring...get the picture? And houses like that are more often than not rentals. $800 a month in my area.

Poverty is a continuum, not a single state of being.

  • I may have hit the wrong button!

  • Call them leathernecks, jarheads, devil dogs, and anything else you can ever think of, but don't you ever call the Marines heartless. Where's the Army? Where's the Navy? Where's the Air Force? All sitting comfy indoors drinking coffee watching the game and holiday movies, while Marines have put down their guns and body armor, and picked up their Class A's and a bag of toys, and gone out, not into hostile territory, but onto the streets of America to give kids with less a brighter Christmas.

  • I remember when I was in the core and we did this is what is so great to have the feeling of making a kids wishes come true. People may call us leather necks, devil dogs, uncle sams misguided children, but we don't care its just a nickname. Semper Fi!

  • While no single person or group of people is without flaw, the US Marines are, by and large, the finest specific group of Americans. God bless them, and while they serve and defnd the American populace, may they likewise maintain their vigilance to not be like it, and for that matter, to not be like the other Services. May the Corps remain selfless, disciplined and elite.

  • Every time I watch that video, I cry. That's one of my favorite Christmas Commercials.

  • OMG PWESENTS! *SMILEY FACE*

  • thats soo cute <3

  • Awww, that's awesome (: and whoever disliked this video is not even human.

  • We surprise the bad guys And we surprise the kids. With that being said America wouldn't be happy with out us!

  • My Navy/Marine Corps JROTC collected 4,000 toys this year for this program and I really felt good loading the toys onto a Marine truck and even though I did just a little it made me feel good knowing I made a little bit of a difference this year. Thank you Marine Corps you are the closest thing to pure good on this Earth!

  • i choked up a lil

  • Awwww

  • my school donated 1,014 toys including 4 12 gear bikes , a psp ,and love

  • awww the Gunny smiled :) Semper Fi and Merry Christmas

  • awww the Gunny smiled :)

  • I'm surprised that someone disliked this video. It must have been a sailor lol. Much appreciation to the Marines who put this together and to everyone who donates to them.

  • My school just collected toys for that and we had seven bags full of toys. Just seeing all those toys light up my day. And when i say bags I mean the bags that they were carrying

  • ALR Post 35 in Chandler is always honored to contribute to you guys! We just did our 4th Annual Ride this past weekend

What a terrific group of soldiers you guys are!

  • not gonna cry not gonna cry not gonna cry not gonna cry not gonna cry not gonna cry not gonna cry not gonna cry not gonna cry not gonna cry not gonna cry not gonna cry bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa im criying god dammit!

  • I cried a little

  • wow this really touches my heart!!!! thank you so much for putting this on youtube

  • When I see these kinds of commercials I cry with joy

  • AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

  • This is one of the many reasons why I want earn the title of a United States Marine

  • @LegendaryCookie505 Same here man. See you there!

  • A little tear shed from my eyes as I saw this commercial. . .

  • same here

  • A heart felt thank you to all the Marines who are helping those less fortunate this Christmas. You are the very definition of the word "heroes".

  • Our Little Son Loves To Pick Out, Then Give To Toy For Tots. To All The Marines A Big Thank You :)

  • If this commercial does not bring tears to your eyes, you aren't human. To you Marines from an Army veteran, "Semper Fi" guys and keep up the outdamnstanding work.

  • I was one of the kids that grew up in a family that was so poor that there were quite a few Christmas mornings when there nothing under the tree. At the age of 12, I decided to join the Marine Corps on the basis of understanding that they could overcome the worst of any situation. Toys for tots is my favorite charity. Semper Fi Marines. G.C. Huggins, USMC Retired.

  • @conservativegrunt Same here but im goin in airforce =D

  • Our mission is to serve and protect the country, and i think that includes making it a better place, and seeing children happy on Christmas defiantly brings a lot of happiness to the population, especially with a poor economy. just another example of why it is so great to be a devil dog.

  • thats cool but what does this have to do with the marines? why are they delivering the gifts?

  • Toys for Tots is a Marine organization. They collect and deliver toys and such to kids every year at Christmas time.

  • I think Toys for Tots is AMAZING. I have been in this postion and i don't know what i would have done if not for them.. Thank you to all of you amazing people that take part in this!

  • oorah TFT!

  • Even years after seeing this commercial, it still brings tears to my eyes.

  • Thank you :)

    - A US Marine

  • No Thank you. There aren't enough words or ways to thank those who serve. As a Army brat I know and understand what it takes to put your life on the line everyday for your Country.

  • Very true. Still, the support helps. Soon I'm going back to Camp Pendleton and a deployment may be in the future for me. I still have a bit of training to do but I am on leave through Christmas thankfully!

  • Yeah, it's one of those things. 2 of my friends from hs just came home, one is 2 go back in the next 3-6months. The other is still deciding whether 2 re-enlist. Glad 2 hear that u will be home with your family for the holidays. I remember how hard it was for my father and us not having him home for the holidays. Truly sucks. Hard 2 enjoy yourself when u know your loved one or someone else's loved one can't be home. But as military dependants we're trained to continue on whether their home or not

  • Of all the things I've done in the Corps, Toys For Tots in Flagstaff, AZ was probably the most rewarding. Somehow we ended up being getting support from a biker club. A bunch of old men in leather and beards pleading with Target shoppers to donate buy something to donate. I don't know where they came from, but it was an awesome experience.

  • I wish the Army had a great program like this!

  • wow this video was really touching

Although it in a way makes Christmas still seem like only a day of gifts, it also gives a great message out to start giving b/c some kids really don't get to look forward to Christmas.

I want to donate now. I would hate for a kid to really go through that on Christmas while I'm opening up all of my expensive presents

  • Semper nostrum carus fidelis

  • Very touching video.

  • I was on the verge of tears! It really sux that some kids have 2 go through that stuff and that the marines are such a big help, for real!

  • cool

  • OORAH!
