Congress has always enacted legeslation that prescribes the flag of our Nation with horizontal strips white stars in a blue field. The upside down USA flag, means so much to me, and I feel that so many of the sheep have to get a grip on it's concept. Do you feel rock if we had our Canadian flags upside down would be a good thing too?

Well apparently the British Columbia flag is an insult to the indigenous Tribes of Canada by flying their flag upside down. See my America Fascism or Freedom series for explanation on that.
So that decision is on the individual, if they wish to express themselves as I do, or not.
Personally I think it would be a bold peaceful visual statement if others who felt their countries had been taken over by Corporate Fascist Globalist Bankers flew their flags upside down.

Marke Carney is a Harvard Grad, and He was the bigger kid older kid at my elementry school that used to bully me as child because my father was jailed because The EX-Dean of Law of the U of A suckered my dad in to a land scandel. Regarding your comments about who really wins an argument and Obamas James Bond persona, you have to accept the fact that in a debate, perception is reality. While you and I could relate to the sheer wisdom of Ron Pauls approach to foreign affairs and its economic impact on our future, he was essentially laughed off stage. Is it fair? No. Is it reality? Yes. These politicians are an embodiment of us society. Why criticizes prominent people for looking and sounding the way we demand them to?

The media has its flaws but dont blame it for out-casting Ron Paul; that blame lies with his own Party. During the Primary Debates his fellow candidates and the predominately Republican audience treated him like a pariah for simply stating that we should dialog with our enemies and not waste money in senseless wars that only embolden fundamentalist and tarnish our international image. If the word - Distress - can be reduced to ones philosophic perspective, then at no point in time should the American Flag have EVER been displayed right-side-up. Was it flown upside down during slavery? Did you even think to invert it these past 8 years? Don't you think your gesture is a little late? My concern is with the brave souls buried at Arlington who may not share your self indulgent position yet would make the supreme sacrifice if they saw our flag flown that way in a REAL EMERGENCY?

Youre referencing a FOX News report made during the primaries when Ron Paul was a viable candidate. But Obamas contribution momentum kept chugging along until it reached its record 533,000,000. Your right, Paul did well among Servicemen & women by bringing in $19,250 as compared to Obamas eventual $27,000. While the Dems took 49% of Military Money and Repubs got 51%, Dems only got 22% last election. Understandably, Soldiers and Dept of Defense employees tend to support the incumbent party.

Obama was hardly a Media darling. Not only did he have to square with his own actions but also the guilt-by-association dilemma created by the likes of Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, Tony Rezko, Louis Farrakhan etc. His citizenship, patriotism, and religion were constantly placed in doubt. The fact that he was able to overcome the unfair media attacks is a testament to his resolve and public support. I have to admit that Paul is an impressive individual. But lets face it, your candidate lost.

Im a South Florida Democrat, so I know the sting of Diebold and its stated mission. True, Obama is mixing it up with a few Clintonites; hes even retained the current Secretary of Defense. But given the dismal economy weve inherited, the prospect of emulating the fiscal success of the Clinton Administration seems prudent. A reduction in taxable income for 95% of Americans, mostly middle to low class earners, while re-establishing the 1998 obligation to those making over $250,000 will stimulate the economy from the ground up. Not MORE government but an EFFECTIVE and ACCOUNTABLE one with a regulatory eye on the cashbox is prudent. Geithners childhood reminds me a lot of Obama as he spent it in Zimbabwe, India and Thailand. Ive read his impressive resume and it extends far beyond N.Y. Central Bank and Rockefeller.

I was a bit hesitant to believe Lindsey originally too.
Look I liked Obama originally. But I did my research. I also grew up with a Father who traveled to over 100 countries in 15 years of being a pioneer in the Artificial Kidney Machines. My Dad met a lot of the people we have discussed. He was one of the first to go to China when Nixon opened up trade. My Paternal Aunt worked in the super secret "Black Hole" at Northrop's Hawthorne California Plant.
