  • It takes the elevator at my work just as long to go up 2 floors

  • There's an elevator in my pants, it's always going up. HA

  • I once rode in this kind of elevator back on the evening of April 29, 1997.

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • HIGH SPEED

  • HIGH SPEED ELEVATOR ?

  • HIGH SPEED ELEVATOR FOR ME

  • HIGH SPEED ELEVATOR FOR ME !!!

  • Does the elevator have A/C ? I see a white device above the floor display that looks like a thermostat.

  • This is a glass elevator not a scenic i have see this in real

  • Maybe you think its a scenic elevator, but it is a glass elevator i'm on vacation there

  • WOW at 1:18

    :O

  • What about the pressure in your ears?

I live in a 26th floor and when I go up or down sometimes I feel the pressurization. How is the system in this elevators?

  • I would love to ride in that elevator. I'm so interested in elevators. I like to know how they work and the noises that they make. You Rock Music FreakCC!

  • Wow! in Ft. Worth,TX there is an elevator thats 10 floors. I'm scared of that. Think about the CN Tower. Were you nervous at all going up? But you are probably used to it considering you go to all elevators. I'm interested in elevators. So Much! i love riding in them and I'm interested in how they work. Reply to me and I would love to talk about elevators. I actually, once was an elevator attendant at a hotel one time. It was a Dover Elevator. I've also gotten stuck in a lot of elevators. Reply!

  • Toronto Baby, Gotta love my city!

I remember I walked up those stairs, took me about 28 mins!

    Damn what a view!

Dubai surpassed up but Cn Tower is still wat sicker!!!!

  • CN TOWER was amazing! I also took a video going up the tower.

  • i thaght the wasington monument was high

  • what is the fastest elevator in toronto

  • Probably either Commerce Court North or the TD Centre.

  • the sears tower should invest in making one of its elevators a freefall drop ride...without telling anyone inside

  • They would be required to tell people that it's a free-fall ride for legal and liability reasons. In addition, it would be quite expensive to manufacture such a ride. The construction costs for the Tower of Terror, whose elevators exceed free-fall acceleration, were over $140 million! In addition, the Tower of Terror's elevators are technically not elevators, rather vertical conveyance devices. The Sears Tower's elevators could never reach free-fall speed due to air pressure/wind resistance.

  • In addition, those would be recategorized as amusement rides and thus would have to be inspected daily. Interestingly enough, the elevators at the CN Tower are already classified as such even though they travel 2 m/s (4.44 mph) slower. Meanwhile, the admission price for both places is about the same.

  • That's correct.

  • Amazing, but that is fast. However, at over 1800 feet in height, maybe 1800-2000 FPM would have been better.

  • Officially, those only go 1200 FPM.

  • have u been uo the spiniker tower in portsmouth england that is a very very fast elevator

  • Nope - the only time I was england was when I was transferring planes to Amsterdam.

  • That glass floor is awesome.

  • Surprisingly, I've been to that tower 3 times and still don't remember what it's like.

  • were you there when you went to toronto a few weeks ago?

  • Did it have an attendant?

  • Bad question.

  • baytrail is right i dont think a normal person would be saying those things about the tower etc

  • Just answer the question!

  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you watched the video you can hear and see the person

  • I asked because I liked the button pressing. Thats what I like best about elevator videos

  • I think the speed is 1800-2000 FPM, and did your ears pop?

  • The speed of this elevator according to the OTIS Website, it goes 1200FPM.

  • GREAT video! and you were definately lucky to catch the one with the glass floor!! i have driven by there many times in my job, but i was never actually able to go there. is that the highest possible to go in the CN tower? or is there another higher deck??

  • There's a higher deck.

  • They were on the Scottish TV show "Still Game".

  • lucky to get the one with glass panel floors

  • Very fast elevator!
