I always knew that Truda was the only choice for your godmother especially as you so resemble your paternal grandmother who was her dearest friend (and the reason for her enduring loyalty to the family) They don't make 'em like that anymore and I'm not just saying that because she always called me 'Madam' and even said that my housekeeping would have passed Cheif Wren's inspection on at least 2 ocassions. Its a wonderful piece of art Tia, Hemmie says your the best at drawing EVER!! lots of wonderful memories of Truda have come to me since her death, being scolded by her for calling her ye 'olde' dragon, the merengue tin on top of the kitchen cupboard and her truly divine cauliflower cheese that I have never been able to make anything quite as delicious myself to name but a few, you had such a special relationship with each other, love to you, Jen x
I'll send a colour photocopy card to Hemmie :) I got a miniature spare from the one I sent for the funeral. And you'll see the sparkly goodness of the original when you next visit-cos I'm keeping that for myself :)
And. . . I know at least part of the secret to the cauliflower cheese-but it concerns me that you're lactose intolerant! LOL!
I'm fortunate to know all that you've allowed yourself to share with me, which is everything. And I know she lives in you as does my great-uncle. He's what drives my passion.

Funny thing, I bought that album because I'd heard so many good reviews and references online-much as I'd like to, I'm scared to mention any artist or song names on YT because of the search engines. . they search the comments too. I'm definitely going to be listening 2 this album more, + it may well lead me to buying more of his albums. I DO buy when I've tested!
I heard of jeff through Cohen, an old fave of mine-Jeff is a man I think I could listen to for eternity. Such a shame what happened.
I hope it's a celebration of the wonderful things she brought to me, and believe me, she was a wonderful influence and friend to many-loved by many. I'm proud and graced to be her God-Daughter :)

She was a great influence on me, and always a positive one. A truly remarkable woman. She was old, and in many ways death was probably the best thing, but it's always sad when someone beautiful leaves the world. I think she is still with me though :)

you might be ok, seeing there's nothing in the tags besides 'last and goodbye'.
be sure to pick yourself up 'live at sin-e' too
it's a double live album that was recorded before grace, but released years after.
your Godmother was smiling watching you draw that dragon, i'm sure.

Truda lived a long life-I'm reflecting, but it's mostly good-I always wish I had expressed my love more when someone I love goes away.
But that's just me :)
