The Angels / Demons are kinda metaphorical. In the End you can see max running at the criminal in order to hit him but u actually dont see the punch / shot, the gangster gets dragged away the max` rage represented by the demon.
On the official side u can the the demons coming at max through a window, disappearing as it shatters... actually a brilliant idea...
they got the snow right! but a supernatural element? but they got the snow right! hmm. wheres the internal dialogue and the battle against inner demons?
on the other hand they got the... i mean, it actually looks noir. except for the gun fight scenes where it looks too lit and amateurish. sigh.
and yet.. i have no choice but to watch it, i love max payne. itd better at the very least be entertaining

Max Payne is a defining action game, it's certainly one of the best action games. Not the most cerebral or anything, but goddamn is it entertaining. I think they're going too serious, the movie should have a more noire almost campy tone to it.
mark wahlberg looks nothing like max

the guy's got awesome physique
but a better choice would be somone like

It could be good in an Equilibrium kind of way.
