@yomegacorp I just got my new Raider but its unresponsive...Should I follow the same procedure even with the Raider? And the slip knot tightens everytime I sleep the yoyo causing my finger to get squeezed and eventually cutting it! Please help!
i got the fireball except for some reason i cant return it after walk the dog or of it sleeps too long.. im kinda short too... i try to pull it up and it just pulls the actual yoyo up and it surpasses the string.. do you get what im saying?
hey ooch i need some advice im buying my first ball bearing yoyo i dont know with to get the raider ex wing or the fire ball or the fast yoyo 201 please help me
The yo-yo shown in this video is the Fireball and has the same internal parts as the original Fireball. The only difference is the pad print (logo) imprinted on it. The pad print featured on this yo-yo is sold overseas.
No, there is only one type of Fireball yo-yo. There are a few different pad prints and colors available in the Fireball ranging in black cap and semi solid models. All the Fireballs have the same internal components. Also, the Power Spin Glow Wing has the same internals as the Fireball but has a wing shape.
It depends what tricks you are looking to do. They are both intermediate yo-yos that work well for string tricks. If you're looking to perform more looping tricks my suggestion is the Raider EX.
One question. I recently found my Raider (Red one, epical win) outside in my dad's car. it had been there for a long time and it had been a COLD winter. Now my Raider doesn't come apart so easily, forcing me to use a little bit of force to undo it. Is there something I can do about that?
Try applying some Brain Lube to teh bearing this may help with the ease of untightening it. If you're still having trouble feel free to contact us at info@yomega.
Hi again. when my cousin uses a yoyo his string loosen alot and won't tighten. when I used his yoyo his string broke!! I was wondering how he could fix it.
@chili967 To lube the bearing, use baby oil or mineral oil - both wil work to make the yoyo more reponsive. Just make sure you don't get any lube on the string. For more help, contact info@yomega.com
well before this video mine wouldn't respond at all but now it works oh and is WD-40 good for lubing it cause i didn't have eaither the lube pen or vasilean
@swiftcole Oh no, you don't want to use WD-40 it will dissolve the plastic. Use mineral, baby oil or vaseline. Or email info@yomega.com for more help.
@ZATalmas You want to tighten the yoyo snuggly. When you tighten it up, make sure the string is not wound inside - this keeps it from getting tight. For more help, please email info@yomega.com
sometimes when i throw the yo yo into a sleeper i have trouble with it because it wants to start spinning sideways and not come back up to me and i don't know how to fix it.
@KatieRoseH You want to make sure you have it strung properly and you also need to have a good straight throw. Make sure your throw is good - a yoyo that turns or spins sideways is often from a bad throw.
Hi again. I got a wing shaped yo yo and whenever i do a sleeper and pull it back up, its always twisted. like the string is totally wound together.I have to let it spin for about 1 minute to get it back to normal and even at that it is still twisted. AHHHH Help!
@VelocityTutorials the way to fix that is to practice, practice, practice. Also, making sure your string is attached to your middle / index finger will help. For more info on getting a good straight throw, watch the sleeper or intro videos.
@VelocityTutorials Practice, practice, practice. Make sure you attached the string to your middle finger between the first and second knuckle - toward the end of your finger. Then make sure you throw the yoyo down straight......you'll get it.
would u use lube for the fire ball if it stops sleeping because thats what happended to mine i put vaseline on it and it still doesnt work can u help me out?
@WWEWebkinz101 Vaseline is only needed when a Fireball is not returning. If the yoyo is not sleeping, check to make sure your string in on correctly and that it is not knotted. If you still have troubles, contact tech support at info@yomega.com
@VelocityTutorials you want to make sure you get a good amount of vaseline on the steel axle and then put the plastic spool back on it. With continuous use, you may have to keep up with maintenance.
My Fireball just arrived in the mail yesterday, and the string keeps getting tangled. Performing the UFO to the left helps, but 15 minutes later, the string gets tight an tangles up. Is there anything I can do?
@Alan12345680 hi alan, try putting the baby oil on the steel axle. Remove the plastic spool and place it on the steel. If that does not work, make sure it is strung properly. For more help email at info@yomega.com
my fireball dosen't stay down when i throw it..? it just comes right back up, very fast!.. i had a fireball before, but i broke it, so i bought a new one and it just won't spin, and comes right back up? what can i do to make it stay down spinning?
if it won't sleep you need to make sure its strung properly and that the string is not pinched or knotted inside. If you continue to have trouble email yomega for assistance

Hi Yoer - if a Yomega yoyo is not returning to your hand, then the problem is most likely the need to put some lubricant on the axle. If you have a Brain model, that lubricant should be Brain Lube, Mineral oil or baby oil. If you have a Fireball or Power Spin, that lube should be vaseline / petroleum jelly.
@HAFhotandfluffy - if your XP won't return well in the OFF position then you will need to put some lubricant on the axle. You can try mineral oil or a small amount of vaseline on this model.
@AngelD2K - The Power Spin will need a good strong throw to get a good long sleeper. Be patient and practice your technique. When you get the hang of it and your skills grow you may then want to move up to a ball bearing yoyo like the Raider or Maverick - they will give you longer sleep times.
