samsung craptivate really? you liked that phone when it came out. its still a great phone. Now with new software and new models of course there are more improved phones out there.
nice review, same goes for your previous inboxing... i'm looking for a european (sweden) android handset which has a large display and will be upgradable to ICS... would the GS2 be your recommendation? i believe i'd prefer the motorola droid razr... thoughts?
Hahaha, I have a feeling most viewers are going to think Galaxy Nexus first, despite you saying touchwiz interface. Looking forward to the next one ;)
First I wanted to say I really enjoy your reviews and this one is no different. Great work. I can appreciate your love for the TW interface but I'd strongly recommend you root you SGS2 and get a ROM that supports BLN control. That would take care of the issue you're having w/ lack of an LED for notification purposes. I was a N1 user prior to purchasing my SGS2 and that really bugged me. There are some quality ROMs available the incorporate the TW interface you've come to love. Thanks
This phone looks very good, but Touchwiz looks very amateur in terms of UI design. It's so inconsistent and visually imbalanced. It seems like they try to cram in cool features but there is not visibility in the functions.
Great review as always! Looking forward to your unboxing/review of the Galaxy Note :)
If I had any complaints about the GSII... it would be that the Super AMOLED Plus screen is tinted too blue. From straight on, the whites look awesome.. but once you angle the screen in any direction, all white/grays become very blue. The screen hue is just a bit too "cold" for my liking but overall it's a monster device with a great screen.
A little bit late for SGS II review in my opinion, but as I said before - you provide the best reviews on youtube, most detailed and expert. I just have one quick question: I have possibility to buy new device on contract in Poland: SGSII and Samsung Galaxy Note for the same price (device in famous Plus+ branding, which some of them goes even to US and Australia, if you read some posts on xda). Which one you would choose? Same price and same contract, SGSII versus SGN? Regards. Tom.

The UI looks terrible. The sms app in particular looks worse than Symbian even.

As always a great preview Trent. I'd like to see a comparison test of this phone and the iPhone 4S.
