they do sound the tiniest bit similar in some parts, but i think thats only because of the acting that you have to do on this song, a LOT of people would sound like Kristin (and yes dear its spelled like that (in) not with an en) but she is a good singer and actress... i just don't see the similarities you see.. to me its just the acting coming through so a lot of people could sound like her

i don't think she does.. if you listen closely you will hear a really big difference between her and Kristin, a lot of people sound sorta like Chenoweth because of the HUGE amount of acting you have to do to preform the song so they sound alike so it fits the character

That might be true... but that "Acting" involves hitting difficult notes and having a very Dynamic range. Popular is a tough song to see well, and Natalie nails it. Natalie is an AMAZING singer/actress, and I prefer her to Kristen, not just in this role, but as a singer in general. Watch her Sing Samson by Regina Spektor, I'm Yours by Jason Mraz, and especially Take me or leave me. She's an amazing singer, and keep in mind that she's only like 20... A few more years and she'll be on Broadway. :)

ohhh i very much believe she is an amazing actress and singer. shes one of my very favorites, i was just stating that she doesn't sound like Kristin at all. its an absolutely wonderful performance and she rivals some of the famous people in my book. i know natalie will end up on broadway and i can't wait to see where her amazing voice will earn her a place. shes phenomenal and i love her voice and skills with all my heart, i was just stating a fact there
