I agree its a depressing song and probably shouldn't have been played at graduation. But oh my god! That sounds absolutely amazing!!! I wish I could have been there to hear it in person.
the orchestra was speeding up or the choir was slowing down or something. but it was a great performance and a trill to play. nacy is an amazing director. i love his facial expressions.
Nicely played. I play trombone, and for my 9th grade year I got to play some of the band arrangement of Carmina Burana. It's always a lot of fun (especially "O fortuna")
the trumpets sound SICK!!!!!! there blasting their balls off!

WTF? The song is great but why would it be played at a graduation? The lyrics are actually really depressing in english

although it was very well orchestrated

At a graduation ceremony?! Don't the musical directors know that this song basically translates to "Oh, cruel fate!"?

WORST SONG EVER.
I hated that I had to graduate to it.

And by that...I was talking about Power of The Dream

And by 'worst' you mean 'greatest' because we all hope that you have better taste than that.
Nacy is hands down the greatest director and was brilliant for picking this piece.

I was talking about the song that I graduated to, not O Fortuna. The song I graduated to was a Celine Dion song...

Only 1 trumpet could do that end part? Lol...

I really, REALLY wish that the song this year was this cool but no, we get to play a Celine Dion song. Oh well.
