I'm 5 foot five so I don't need anyone taller than six feet anyway. :P But you're right, he isn't really that tall for a Scandinavian. In the states he seems tall, but in Scandinavia he's pretty average. It's something I noticed when I was working for Norwegians and spent time in Oslo. My boss was 6'2. JHere in the states everyone thought he was tall, but not back home in Oslo. He was pretty average. Here, if you are six feet you're tall, but over there you're short if you AREN'T six foot.

that's right. in scandinavian countries you should be 190-195cm to be regarded as 'tall' (i'm talking only about men). btw, swedes, norwegians and danes are taller than finns. finns are different ethnically, - they aren't a germanic people, maybe that's the reason.

maybe the finns are generally smaller because of the strong Russian/Estonian influence, the russians, slovaks and other eastern European races aren't massively tall like the Scandinavians are.

maybe. however, it's more about finno-ugric origin of finns, than about russian or estonian influence. look at hungarians, who are a finno-ugric people as well - they aren't tall.

and it's nothing to do with slovakian people, they are located way too far from finland :)
