looks like the cd on the left is playn the track n when he hits that button on the right it plays in the right track (which he is scratching when he presses it) so im guessing if he holds the right button it plays th right cd track over the one thats playing

the button he keeps pressing is the "transform" button, the function is to cut out any sound while that button is pressed, so as you can see, while he's scratching,the fader is in the middle, and keeps pressing the transform to do the "scratches" and when he wants to solo the right deck, he moves the fader to the right =)

looks to me like its a feature that allows the sound to come out of the right input without movie the cross fader..

That button is a killswitch. It "kills" (mutes) sound while pressed!
