  • @greeneyeblind5229 Thanks!

  • Gotta love her

  • omg didnt know she did a video for this its so hott

  • my favorite song on the album! insane! shout out to DC I-395

  • How can one put words to artistry as such as this. All I can say is that she continues to be awesome.

Some artist who don't get their just due at the time do get it eventually in the end.

Meshell, Prince, Erykah Badu just to name a few are true artist. We are bless to see those who approach it, live it and bring it (music) to us as the art form it truly is and should be, that we can feel it, know it and embrace it.

  • I LOVE THIS TRACK! THIS ABUM WAS AWESOME! "RELIEF" IS MY FAVORITE.

  • "...You want me to believe that God is a product of my imagination..." -Me'shell Ndegeocello... Enjoy!!!

  • Love this song!!! Been looping since I heard it and hour ago....Me'Shell is just sik wit it...

  • I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!

  • I just know I gotta get this album

  • Yeah! i'm suprised it sound like Bloc Party! love it

  • I have not listen to this woman in a very long time, its very refresing. Luv it.

  • Who's the drummer of this song?

  • I'm pretty sure it's Chris "Daddy" Dave. I had the pleasure of playing with him on a short european tour... He's AMAZING!!

And funny as hell too. lol

  • OK, I just saw the drummer in the video and that's not Chris so... I was wrong. lol

  • @johntguitar it's DeAnthony Parks On drums

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTER ME'SHELL!

  • Très sympa , le son me fais penser à bran van 3000.

  • Beautiful, wickedly beautiful!! Meshell continues to keep me anticipating her next work of art , I've got a habit and her name is Meshell.

  • My sentiments exactly.

  • poet, poet, poet! oh, to marry this woman!

  • Surreal. Me'Shell is incredibly talented - the blend of genres, the opening of musical possibilities - she's ahead of her time. I agree - the rest will take care of itself. Music karma!

  • very enjoyable

  • Wow! Love it!

  • that sloganeer keeps promising all kinds of shit. (and yeah--this song IS the shit.)

  • Hey ya'll it's downtown Atlanta! 85 South to be exact. Any Peaches out there? Can you co-sign me?

Love this cut--Meshell is so talented.

  • She is touched by God and by creating she passes that energy on to us. Amazing is not even close to describing her. She put the "her" in "here"

  • oooo ...this is the shit!!!

  • This song is definitely the SHIT!

  • I am addicted to this whole CD... So hot. Best thing Ive heard in a long time.

  • love this song. so very much 80's sound - the bassline - early cure, joy division... and the etheric vocals of me'shell... <3

  • I couldn't believe my eyes & ears when I saw her at the HOB in San Diego last December; front row center, close enough to reach out & touch her. This woman has more talent in her fingernails than all the so-called "divas" of this pathetic day & age. Will the entire world ever wake up & realize her genius? Probably not--they're too used to the spoon-fed crap that passes itself off as "music" today. Me'Shell is a goddess among mere women.

  • Even if I tried, I couldn't have said it any better. You are so right on. We're still in a very primitive state of humankind. How Me'Shell's music isn't number one on all the billboard charts, MTV, VH1, etc., etc., is a projection of humankind's blatant ignorance. In the mean time, just enjoy the energy of her music. The rest will take care of itself. Much Love!

  • Me'shell is a musical savant! I had the profound pleasure of hearing her live at the Justice League in SF in the late 90s. THANK YOU Me'Shell!!! I recently posted a bunch of my own MARIMBA music videos. Check out "Into the Silence," "On the Middle Road" and "My First Dance With Zimbabwe."

  • That's why Grammys are no longer relevant. They've given countless awards to all her imitaters for years, yet she's not even given one.Every music magazines gave her albums 4-5stars,stated best album of the year. She doesn't even get consideration because she's just pure. Thanks to Madonna for discovering her and letting me know about her.I have been a huge fan since 1996.

  • Just imagine if she looked like a slutty model. Everyone would know who she is... it's so sad how pop culture works.

  • its because of her image.

  • I actually love that she is not being blown up by the media. Remaining low key is keeping her product quality. Seems like when artist are overly commercialized and BLASTED all over the place their talent and creativity suffers.

  • @cherio70 thank you, somebody besides me finally said it! Let her most genuine fans support her music, and the masses can lend a trivial ear to Alicia Keys or Norah Jones.

  • I think she is great and that its a real shame that people are so closed minded. I love her music she is a genius much love KAT

  • Everytime she puts out something, you KNOW it's going to be good. Wish she would be acknowledged for the jazz genius she is.

  • prunes & custard?

  • She's deep, and the band ain't no joke! Go Meshelle!

  • someone post lovely lovely from this album its wonderful

  • Nem tudom mi ez de miután lesz hangfalam akkor meg mondom

  • this lady is musical genious.listen to the lyric.can anybody tell me who as a people she is refering too? without ignorance i think she is talking abouts those false people claiming to be allah's only people and his chosen.if that is so,justdo what the song says kill yourself now

  • Hmmmmmm. Intellectually-appreciative analogy!

  • this woman is pure genius. it's a complete and utter shame that people sleep on real talent.

she is the epitome of what music is all about.

    i love her.

  • I've has listened to this song about 350 times since the album came out. It's wall to wall fabulous!

  • i cannot even believe my ears this song defies words. groovy beyond belief, killer lyrics, killer drums, fat ass bass. good god, it's sensory overload. this woman is definitely a genius.

  • I could drown in this shit forever

  • That's Atlanta!

  • I love her music! This album is another hit and so are the songs Shirk, Relief: A Stripper Classic, and Soul Starship. She makes great music.
