  • this is such a cool video and i like your jeep set up on wayalif

  • @96fitbikeco thanks - you can see specs here:

    h t t p : / / wayalife . c o m / content . p h p ?29-Moby-Dick

  • when you need to tow the wayalife jeep you know not much could get up there

  • Thanks for that response. Do you or someone you know have any input regarding the Bestop Trektop? Does it have any leaks? Thanks!

  • @23peeweeduke i have the older style trektop and sure, it leaks a bit but, so does my factory soft top. i still love it for how easy it is to put on and take off and of course, for the way it looks.

  • Did you cut the muffler from the cat converter? How is your gas mileage after?

  • @23peeweeduke nope, everything is still in place. here in ca, you need to keep it that way.

  • And once again..another sweet video. Nice looking trails too...keep up the good work.

  • @werner9191 the rocky mountain video

  • wayalife when is the full video coming because every week when i go to my jeep dealer they ask me do i have is do i have it thanks

  • This Wrangler for trails and a GC SRT8 for daily driving = Perfect two car garage

  • Moby is so sexy. As always great vid

  • im still wondering what rims/beadlockers are on this bad boy if anyone knows lemme know!

  • @runitsbc spyderlocks

  • how mmany miles you have on your jeep @wayalife

  • @iloveliftedjeeps 95,000 miles right now

  • @wayalife wow nice man i love you jeep and all your videos keep them coming, i never get enough

  • Is your guys' "Project JK" an automatic gearbox?

If so why was it chosen (technical advantages and disadvantages)?

I'm looking into doing one similar in suspension build and would like to know if I go the manual transmission route what I might have wanted the automatic for.

  • @ringenberg2 Disregard this comment... I JUST saw the gear lever sticking up out of the console and meeting the blokes hand. ._.

It has been a weird and off day sorry lol

  • @ringenberg2 we have and prefer a manual but an auto is much much easier to off road

  • Is this your DD?

  • @Tdaz250 yes it is :)

  • @wayalife

Got any poly performance stuff on your jeep. I am thinking about getting their long arm kit and am wondering what you run.

  • @wayalife

    douche

  • How do you like that LOD rear tire carrier? Im looking at putting one on my TJ.

  • Eddie, your videos rock! Love watching them! Love Project-JK!!!!!-catahoula

  • @phennig2003 thank you, we really do appreciate it :)

  • @JeepCRDLiberty faster by within temptation

  • Love your videos...now I want a jeep!!

  • @kamikazelouie if you can afford it, i would highly recommend a 2012 - they are awesome!!

  • Sweet JK man! How much money have you put into it? If you don't mind me asking....

  • @CogWeezy as you see it now, there's probably about 30-40k. all the money put into it along the way? hard to say - a lot.

  • it has beadlocks...why not air down a bit more ?

  • @TheJeepWheeler yeah, i'm just a rookie who doesn't know anything about wheeling or about airing down my tires. god only knows that i should have gone lower than 5 psi just to make our toyo's "look" more aired down and satisfy the wheeling pros on the internet.

  • @wayalife

easy there chump ! it was a simple question. Not trying to be a dick. I own a set of Toyo M/Ts. Only 33's but I still have them aired down to 3psi on steel wheels and never popped a bead. Just thought WITH beadlocks you'd think you could go a bit lower than 5 lbs.

  • @TheJeepWheeler easy there chump, i just responded to your simple question, no need to get all defensive. like i said, what do i know. clearly, you're the expert here and i'm sure had we been 2 psi lower, you wouldn't have even needed to chime in

  • @wayalife

how fuckin old are you? Grow up and have a conversation like and adult! God damn, you act more immature than most kids on here. I asked a simple question. no need for you to get all butthurt, you're a joke.

  • @TheJeepWheeler funny, you question my age and say that i should have a conversation like an adult and yet, so far as i can tell, you're the only one having a tantrum, swearing for no good reason and all butthurt just because i provided a simple answer that you didn't like. clearly, you think i'm a joke but, i think it's you who needs a time out.

  • the song namee pls

  • @davidFj4wd "faster" by within temptation

  • Damn! That's a lot of snow for July! What was the air temperature like?

  • @lovedavdubs it was a TON of snow for july and the most i have seen in all the years we've been coming up here and that's a long time. funny thing was, the air temps on this day were in the 80's and the snow was melting fast making things really slippery.

  • LOL nevamind i got it its called Faster :D

  • Whats the song name ?

  • MOBY DICK!!!!!!!!

  • cool video, like always

    thumbs up mate

  • Hey eddie why did you change your LoD stinger for an EVO one??

  • @Hpaddic just to try something new

  • @wayalife ok cool, and very nice video btw!!! always enjoy watching theme :P

  • Great Video, thanks

  • correct me if im wrong, but i think i remember hearing in one of your other vids that you're still running the stock axles?

  • @skidplate003 broke them a while ago and have since installed dynatrac pro rock 60's

  • @wayalife i see.

so im looking at buying a JK sometime soon, but im not sure what model to buy. Saharas are plentiful and considerably cheaper than Rubicons, however without the 4.10 gearing, the lockers and such, its considerably less trail worthy. I'm plan on doing a lot of work on it regardless, so my question is this: is it worth forking out the extra cash to buy the Rubicon, or should i save the cash and start from the frame up when i start to build my jeep?

  • @skidplate003 it really depends on how much more you can invest in your jeep. the lockers and 4.10 gears are nice but, what i really like on the rubicon's is the 4:1 transfer case and, if you can believe it, the e-disco. if you don't have a big budget to work with, i would start off with a rubicon as it requires less work and time to get you playing on hard trails.

  • @wayalife alright, thanx a bunch for the advice

  • Well that put a smile on my face! :-) Great video. I'm a bit jealous. lol

  • Comment removed

  • Nice work!

  • One of your best.

  • Cool :-)

  • is toyota a bad word here?

  • @sumrandomkid1 not in my book, i like toyota's a lot and used to have an 88 4-runner

  • @wayalife

in the off road sense? me and my dad are working on a 79 fj40 right now. i know how this sorta thing can become like a cult almost

  • Man, i swear your jeep is like a work of art, i just amazing. How do you like driving the Unlimited with a manual instead of auto? I honestly have never seen them with the stick.

  • @nexorabolis truth be told, we had to special order ours with a manual. me, i've always wheels a manual and prefer it but, only because it's what i know best. autos are great and whenever my wife and i drive our orange jk, we like to joke that it's cheating.

  • @wayalife You said you had to special order yours, why is that? They were in option in '07 right?

  • @TheJeepGuy00 they were an option but i couldn't find one anywhere. took almost a year to get too

  • Your videos are always so awesome! Your Jeep is the inspiration for my Jeep :). Keep up the great work! Hopefully someday I will see you on the trail!

  • These videos are soo good man! they just make me want to get up and go 4x4. They inspire people. dont stop making these videos man! it truly is "A WAY OF LIFE."

  • @supermasterg nope, it's a dynomax rock crawler

  • Nice editing!

  • @VERTICALattraction thank you

  • once again.....a great video!! Thank you for sharing!

  • This isn't just a Jeep, it's not even a Way of Life..This is LIFE ITSELF!

  • What can I say?! Same thing I say on every vid... INSANELY AWESOME!!

  • @ElyAbraham LOL!! so glad you like it :)

  • AWESOME Video Editing there !!! Great !! it looked so epic !

  • @Vicsam7 thanks

  • pretty awesome video! I don't know much of anything about off-roading but your tires almost looked a little bald to me.

  • @FWarrior2010 they are bald, been running them for about 2 years now and put on over 30,000 miles on them

  • Great editing and views! Hope to get some great footage with my JK like this someday! Please keep the videos coming and thanks for sharing.

  • Your tires need some tred! The look a little flat. And let some air out of the tires!

  • @sailingjacobe yeah, i'm just a rookie who doesn't know anything about wheeling or about airing down my tires. god only knows that with a set of toyo's mounting on 20" rims, they would for sure look like they have less air in them even at 5 psi.

  • awesome vid.. been watching yall each and everytime there's a new one...swear yall are like my role models lol... btw did you get a new rear axle?

  • @kaotikblaze90 yeah, got a new one after our break a couple of years back

  • AWESOME JEEP LOOKS LIKE LIKE GREAT FUN SWEET !

  • by they way love ur plate!

  • @TheHickstead LOL - thank you

  • the music makes it even funner to watch! yes i know u just made up a word (funner!) =D

  • @TheHickstead glad you liked it

  • Awesome wheeling, awesome jeep

  • Love the videos, makes me wish I still had my JK!

  • Yes, the dog in the back seat. A border collie. Stole the show. Incedentally, you should have trimmed the dogs nails before the climb.

  • Excellent vid, thanks!

  • @ttsfabworks thank you

  • great vid, even though i have a tj and love my jeep you guys rock

  • @jeepboyz05 thanks, we love TJ's too

  • FANTASTIC!BEUATIFUL!!!! JUST AMAZING!!!! but I am going to love you (ur vids ofcourse) for the sake that ONE scene made my day! 2:16 Seeing the dog sitting in the back seat. EPIC!!!!!

  • @piersremus and that dog would be our wonderful little tessa :)

  • send this to jeep, this can be their new commercial, great vid as always guys, keep up the good work, and keep wheeling!

  • @TheXJthatCould thanks, we appreciate the compliement

  • eddie! this is so awesome, man! i would love to run with you guys. i am here in sacramento (pretty close to tahoe) doing some contract work for a few months. unfortunately i had to leave my JK at home in Texas so i wouldn't be able to see how she performs. but i think it would be awesome to meet the team and see the jeeps run!

  • One of the best videos i've seen you put out Seriously some awsome footage

  • @JEEPBEAST07 thank you

  • awesome vid...that's what the JEEP commercial should be!

  • @nytennisaddict we appreciate that you think as highly as you do of our videos.

  • Awesome video!! I just purchased a TF 2.5 for my 11 Rubi... should be good for the wheeling I do... but I have to say your 40's look mean!!

What video editing software do you use?

  • @Hubey1965 we use adobe premier cs5

  • Hey what's up with the no playback on IPad?

  • @tuko829 the song we used is blocked in germany and so youtube prevents it from being played on mobile devices

  • Your camera Crew or Person Shoots GREAT videos!!! Seriously great quality, great transitions, both in ride and out angles are spectacular - set some 40 min dvds and ILL BUY them - Keep hitting the trails and keep up the AWESOME VIDEOS

  • @qvoauto LOL!! thank you, my wife cindy does all the filming and editing

  • awesome mann

  • @KarlGoth thank you :)

  • @wayalife welcome

  • about time u got some mud on those rock jeeps haha

  • Stellar vid as always, someday I hope to go out with you guys on a MOAB run.

  • sweet video as always eddie hope to wheel with you guys one day on the con keep the shinny side up and always have a blast

  • @rubiconrunnerneville LOL!! thanks

  • What song is that?

  • @BORN2LOSE13 within temptation - faster

  • how long was your jeep front wheel drive after the pinion broke?

  • @bbp315 are you referring to the dusy run we did? if so, we drove all the way off the trail and home over 350 miles with just front wheel drive.

  • baaaddd ass video man!!

  • @phxsuns928az we're really glad that you liked it

  • Another Awesome Production! Good Job!

  • @baja42 thank you

  • I just saw two of the guys (Friday July 8th) apparently headed to the Rubicon this morning on 395. A black and silver JK. I was in the red TJ... Nice video.

  • @k80parcours Yep! thats where we were headed. I noticed your license plate. I was in the black JK.

  • @k80parcours - Yea that was ramin and I. You were the guy with the "TNOTFJ" license plate???

  • @GongShow714 _ Yes that was me. We we're headed to Cuddyback Lake. You guys have some nice Jeeps. Do you guys ever have TJ's join your group?

  • That type of snow is one of the places big wide tires hurt you more than help you. Its amazing how much snow we got this year. I took a photo at the top of Sonora pass a few weeks ago and there was about 12ft or so. Most I have seen in a very long time.

  • Could you please check the box to allow mobile devices to view your videos. I would appreciate it, thank you.

  • @rbnrs1 we do - unfortunately, the song we used is blocked in germany and so youtube prevents it from being played on mobile devices.

  • Your jeep is just a beast! Would you say the 6 cylinder in there has enough power for the tires you put on it? I'm guessing you geared it down a little also but I know some people that have manuals don't gear it down because you can just shift differently than you used to. I want to lift mine really bad but I'm wondering how much power you lost by lifting it and putting those tires on it.

  • @Traxxasman94 the power isn't the best for turning big heavy 40" tires but, it gets the job done for me. regearing and a superchips has helped a lot

  • AWESOME, great job!

    I love this vid!

  • @DerMeisterVid thank you

  • Awsome Video... Nice rig as well, you guys have some nice places to wheel

  • lower psi and new tires would make that run whole lot of easier

  • @pandaonweed we were aired down to 7 psi and while new tires would have helped make things easier, i felt that we did okay. but hey, that's just me.

  • Looks like you got your rear diff replaced from the last adventure. Keep the videos coming; you guys are great.

  • @zeddjb the last video was filmed about two years ago and we now have a dynatrac pro rock 60 in the rear

  • Eddie, your rig is as agile a road-legal crawler as I've seen. Being in the Sierra at will is an awesome opportunity that I covet. The footage/production is fantastic too. Keep up the good work.

  • @jvincemery thank you, we really are glad that you enjoy our videos

  • do you use your jeep as an everyday driver?

  • @hadd13 yes, both our JK's are daily drivers :)

  • Looks like a lot of stuff around northern Utah still! Also reminds me of all the winter wheelin we'd do up in Bozeman to go ice climb! Thanks for getting a video up for us...

  • Fantastic Video. It looks like you guys had a lot of fun making it. Congrats

  • @JK4x4USA thanks :)

  • Oh sweet. I'll do my best!

  • sweet vid! could you take a stock rubi on this trail?

  • @renzo1200 it'll take a lot more work to do but, yeah, you can normally do the rubicon in a stock jk. right now with all the deep snow and deep water, i don't know if i would try it.

  • Awesome video ! 10 JKs from Vancouver, BC are hitting the famous Whipsaw Trail tomorrow. Its full of snow this time.

  • @sadbyte

I'm one of the group. hope we get in some good wheelin and video.

  • Talk about expect the unexpected!

As always, great video. I'll give it two thumbs up.

  • @jaysoncollins1 thank you, we're so glad that you like it

  • Again a great video!

Watch the front page jeep of rcjeeps.c0m, it's an exact replica of yours but radio controlled. :) (it's not a virus link ;) )

  • Awesome video! Cant wait til my JK is all grown up like yours.

  • do you leave the Go Pro mounted under your jeep all the time or do you remove it depending on what obstacle your owning? i was up at slickrock june 29th 2011, there was to much snow and an RV in way to break trail on the lake alpine side, first water crossing on the utica side was a little to deep, im runnin 35" tires and they were underwater. who parks an RV in the middle of the road unattended when there are plenty of campsites around the area, and empty parking lots?

  • @PHELLICS we have several different mounting points on our jeep and switch the go pro around depending on the situation.

  • Awesome video again WOL. thanks mate.

    Apt.

  • @AJS51505150 thank you, we're glad that you liked it :)

  • awesome video man

  • @theoriginalmodz thanks :)

  • Amazing as always! I miss my JK more and more.

  • @pseacraft thank you and i hope your time away from your JK is only a temporary one
