Perfect wave but when I was there '08 the surfers stayed in the water till it was nuking.... kind of annoying... perffered a spot 8hrs south.

I am travelling from South Africa with mates to Peru for kitesurfing - but no idea where to go. Are all the spots left? Prefer rights, also what are the best spots and time of year... i can go from jan - march.

i have to ask; why does this guy not ditch the kite and just surf? All the kite does in this instance is stop him from cutting back and getting vertical. Kitesurfing rocks, but not on perfect offshore pointbreaks... Each to their own!

reason why I never sailboarded too much shit to carry around, easier to just grab your stick. The older I get the better kite surfing is looking for tow outs :)

That's Lobitos. Not the longest left in the world (chicame) but a much better wave. In bigger swell it is a fast powerful barreling wave. It's a surf spot.
