  • These mothers are complaining just to draw attention to themselves. They Probably are bored sitting at home and want something to do. I was a waiter and when a mother nursed it didn't bother me but I had fun with it. Just keep staring at her boobs. If she says anything just say you took it out. People need to lighten up and moms need to stop complaining about everything.

  • Yeah it's natural and all that jazz but come on people, I don't need to see that shit while I'm eating. Shitting is also natural but I don't do it in the booth at Applebees

  • the breast is not sexual it is for feeding babies so get over yourselves and grow up!

  • If she was being discreet no one would have noticed...

  • @LoveUNotWithoutGrace boobs are for feeding babies not for you to stare at.

  • I have bf all 3 of my kids until 14mths of age, I have done it in public.. if i cant find a place, but I always cover up. IF I have to look at women who wear low cut shirts, and tight shorts with cellulite legs and muffin tops, you can see the top of my boob a little, its no more than if i wore a low cut shirt, get over it...this culture is soo sex driven and skin driven, i dont get the big deal. just cover a little women, its not hard...

  • come on people if i was going to pay 20 fucking dollers for a meal just to see some fat bitches tits hanging out im gonna fucking complain why cant the bitch get up and walk five fucking feet to the bathroom or at least were a fucking blanket!!!! if women say that they are allowed to have their tit hanging out in public then why dont we all just get rid of clothes all together seriously people its the 21 fucking century be civil god damn it

  • All your favorite restaurants dishes...their recipes finally revealed! - youtube.com/watch?v=6ktnVmKZXOo

  • Tell me, why do people not seem to get that we are not saying Breastfeeding shouldn't be done in public. We are just saying it should be done decently. If your baby is crying then feed it, but please cover it up. That's all I'm saying. I can't imagine pulling my boob out in public.

  • This is silly. This is why when you go to a restaurant, you have separate tables. You do not have to look others. Just as if you saw an ugly person, you can turn your head or sit on the other side of the table. I agree that breastfeeding should not be treated as something shameful that deserves covering up.

  • Sick...I'm sorry, but when we don't make annoying ass people like that woman follow some rules of decency, we stop being a society and start being slaves to feminism. It's not like it was inevitable, she could go outside, or in the bathroom, or maybe get a sitter or just not go to Applebee's at all. If you have a burning desire to reveal your nasty self, just stay home. I'd lose my freakin dinner if I saw that woman's tits. Honestly, I think some women think their baby=God, and they do as well.

  • Nobody wants to see your gross saggy tits

  • Put a blanket over it, you whores!

  • I'm sure the woman in the Applebees was just as modest as this woman in the interview too. Yet still had something said to her all because someone felt the need to complain about her feeding her baby...that's so sad. =(

  • You all are fucking idiots. If someone's tit is hanging out she needs to cover it up. What is SO HARD to understand about that! God I'm so sick of ignorant people! You all are assuming that she was covered up, obviously if she was asked to cover up SHE WAS EXPOSING HER BREAST. YOU'RE ALL MORONS! Especially "happyone4" You're fucking stupid.

  • Wow...

    Someone has anger issues.

  • No it's not what's sad is when society forces you to try to eat in a restaurant and deal with some woman taking out her disgusting boobs. When someone goes to eat, they don't know what's waiting for them. It may be a perfect experience, or the service may be bad, or there might be a lady trying to show the world what an awesome mother she is. Anyone that would put up with that needs to grow a pair.

  • She nurses twice in this interview and you can barely tell! I think people who complain about modest nursers like this woman have issues and think of breast is highly sexual rather than seeing them for what they truly were intended for-to feed our young. I feel the men and women who have an issue with breastfeeding public or not (especially if the mom is not even showing her breast while doing so) are the ones with the issue-NOT the nursing mom simply doing what is best for her child.

  • You can barely tell cuz they cut out when she whipped her boob out and only continued after the babies head was in the way. Looking at it at another angle you would see quite a bit. Fact of the matter is, this is indecent exposure. Why do women feel they need to be naked? Why not put a damn blanket over your boob, its not that hard? I'm about to have my first child and I WILL NOT whip my boob out in public. Bathroom or Blanket for me. Naked is Naked.

  • @WooFMewMew I agree that women should cover themselves. But to say that women feel the need to be naked b/c they're feeding their child is silly. You can't see a breastfeeding mothers breast unless you're looking for it. In which case, you're a pervert. lol. Let's see you eat with a blanket over your head. :/ If they don't want women feeding in the dining area, they should create a room or something where we can do so.

  • I am so tired of people saying its wrong to B/F in public! You see more boobage on magazine covers and movie cases and no one says anything about a possible triggering of past molestion issues to the companies?!?!!! (eroticangel) but you are going to try and place shame and unearned guilt on a woman doing the natural nonsexual act of feeding her baby!!!??? When will you make Bottle feeding moms cover their baby, or go to the bathroom or stare at her like something is wrong with her?

  • Its not rong to breast feed inj public iellajo.. it's wrong to pop your TITTY out in public. You fucking nitwit!

  • all women should be topless in public

  • i see woman breastfeeding in public all the time its no big deal babys need to eat what are woman going to do starve there children

  • no they need to cover their tit up ilovesteve7.. yet another moron.. god ill just reply to all the morons and maybe they'll get a CLUE but probably not!

  • i you stupid moron yes grant it she may need to drape her self but if her damn baby is crying it is fucking nature to feed her child duh you ignorant moron

  • there is nothing wrong with breastfeeding in a public plae. there is rarely much of a breast exposed. there is actually less breast exposed while nursing then those who deem it appropriate to have half their titties hanging out of their shirt. maybe ppl should realize what is important.

  • i breastfeed my daughter, rarely with a blanket. she will eat at the table w me and my family. you cant see nipple when a woman breastfeeds. it is no more indecent than some skank in a low cut top. if you dont like me nursing, YOU wear a blanket over YOUR head. its your embarrasment, not mine or my child's.

  • It is your choice to breastfeed but u don't have to subject others to it, espcially when their trying to eat!

  • "Subject" someone to breastfeeding? You can see parts of the breast when a girl walks around in a low cut top. What is the big deal? Why does it make you uncomfortable? It's just a baby eating.

  • Listen I have family who breastfeed and I have seen my sister and my cousins do it, and I think it is a beautiful thing, However those who breastfeed say at family get togethers at our house have respect themselves and others by excusing themselves and going into a private area, those who would like to join can but they have a choice, you don't know what other situations have happened to people to make them have the views they have

  • say there is a mother and a child passing someone who is breastfeeding and that child associates the exposure of breasts or the act of breast feeding sexual due to an experience a child had with molestation, This in turn hurts the passerbys child, by having this trigger other feelings and actions, why would you want to risk harming others when it can be avoided by having a little discretion. What i am saying is there is a TIME AND PLACE FOR EVERYTHING

  • I agree. Sometimes I think people just do things to go after big companies. I mean if I am eating somewhere I dont want to look over and see someone doing this.

  • Thank you, I am glad there are a few who understand.....

  • There is a way to breast feed where people cannot even see or notice what you are doing.... when I am eating I really don't want to see tits....Some of my family members breastfeed and they have enough respect for themselves and those around them to move to a private location.... The act of breastfeeding is a beautiful thing and is a great bonding experience for the mother and child... I believe it is a special PRIVATE bonding experience.... that others do not need to be included in!

  • Why not just cover up. Why would you make an issue out of it. I think these women want to start trouble.

  • Because a wiggling child won't stand to be covered up in most cases, also what about the child smothering? Having it's head under a blanket is a good way to do it. I nurse my 6 month old exclusively and he will not take a bottle. I nurse without a cover and have not had a problem. 9 times out of 10 no one knows that I am nursing. I have a sling for my child that I put him in and can be standing in line at the grocery store nursing him and nothing is showing.

  • Natural healthy act?? So is urinating, masturbation or perhaps sex, lets pass legislation on that making it legal. Hey just making a point

  • Management at Applebee's was in the right for suggesting the mother to coverup or stop. Preserving a reasonable compfort level means something when running a business. Breastfeeding belongs in the home or in the bathrooms where it wont make others feel uncompfortable

  • I think you should have to eat in the bathroom. The only people who are uncomfortable are the ones that believe that breasts are sexual and are to immature to see past that.

  • im not supportive of breastfeeding in public, its all feminist garbage and i sure in the hell dont support public indecent exposure for the sake of feeding a child

  • I find it so amusing that any pro-breastfeeding comment is rated down.

I'm not surprised at this however. Some people cannot and will not look outside of their own little boxes.

  • How do you know your not the one in a box. As a matter of fact, your in the minority on this issue. When my wife decides to feed our baby formula, and then sees a t-shirt on a baby that say, "formula is for pussies", we have a right to be pissed off. Why don't you feminazis get a life and stop trying to look for trouble.

  • First, name calling doesn't exactly frame you as someone who is knowledgeable about this issue nor does it make me consider you someone who is even worth the keystrokes to explain or define my rights and the rights of my child.

With that said, it's very irresponsible of you to clump nursing Mother's together based off of ONE person who decided to wear a shirt that gave a message that obviously offended you.

You are the one looking for trouble, with a huge chip on your shoulder too I might add.

  • Breastfeeding is a natural thing. I think people that view it perversely are the ones who should be shamed, not the Mothers who wish to provide nature's nourishment to her child.

With that said, provide me as a nursing mother with a private facility that is clean and NOT a bathroom and I'll be more than happy to go into another area to nurse.

If you won't eat your food off the toilet don't ask my baby to. Angel I am so sorry that happened to you. You and your child deserve better.

  • it makes people lose their appetite from what they imagine/mentalpicture of the gut, breastfeeding whichever way you flip it Dont do it in public places what im saying is restaurants dont do it in a environment with kids ages 10+ dont fight to not cover up that changes everything for gender men shouldnt have to cover up then if women shouldnt it changes regulations for working environments now please stop trying to argue all you women its healthy, normal, just please cover up dont do it in public

  • Dont do it in public its normal its just some people dont want to see that.even while eating/drinking etc. please dont do in public if you have a problem not doing it in public then i dont got any sympathy for you please no one wants to see the belly most jobs wont allow it you try to cover up because you have a baby.

  • Mothers who choose to breast feed should be able to do so when and where the baby needs to eat. I support that. My greater concern is the voracity with which some breast feeding mothers try to force their choice on mothers who have chosen not to breast feed. We want to support their decision to breast feed when and where they need to. Respect for our decision not to breast feed would be appreciated.

  • Just a few days ago I saw something even more disturbing in a restaurant. It was a 3 year old child who was (gasp) drinking the milk of another species. How disgusting. It just ruined my appetite. I don't know how that childs mother could live with herself. What is this country coming to?

  • Breastfed babies are happy babies. Critics, suck your thumb.

  • I agree, a kids gotta eat, right? But, why do I have to look at your naked breast at the same time. I know that would and has ruined my appitite. Come on, this is stupid. Why now in the 21 century do we have to have a bunch of debates about breast feeding and film it on public news. Havn't moms been breast feeding since the dawn of creation, but they didn't do it in a reastaurant. Only in the day and age when you can get someone to listen is there a problem...

  • so is blowing your nose - it's legal too - but use a tissue and cover up - or you'll gross us all out

  • I have been discriminated against for breastfeeding in public, my baby was 5 months old at the time. I decided to go into the public bathroom and breastfeed while everyone was using the restroom, I was in tears. I felt like people looked at me as though I was doing something horrible to my child. It is truly the best thing you can do for your baby.

  • What astounds me is that the people who are made uncomfortable are the ones being accommodated. I agree that people need to change the way that they view nursing our children. If you have a problem with me feeding my child, you can tell my child why it has to be suffocated under a blanket so that you can feel better about eating your burger.

  • if people are so uncomfortible why not just tell em to leave(ppl complaining that is) or if need be give nursing mothers there own area to do that in

  • "Breastfeed in a respectful manner"???????????? And how exactly is that? There is nothing disrespectful to anyone about breastfeeding. If I came up to a bottle feeding mother and told her to bottle feed in a respectful manner I bet that everyone would think I was nuts. Let's stop harassing moms for feeding their kids! If you are sick enough to have a problem with breastfeeding, go to counseling, don't try to stop other moms from doing what is normal.

  • amyphilo...let me guess your a liberal/democrats right? Bearing your breast sighly where patrons can get an eyeful for the sake of feeding a hungry child is very rude and disrespectful. Just use some good judgement thats all

  • Wonderful! Hooray! And good for all of you and your families!

  • Dear lord, breastfeeding isn't indecent exposure. Grow up people.

  • @alystyn So exposing a barebreats isn't indecent exposure?? Would you allow your kids to watch porno, read nudy magazines?? Because thats just as indecent as breastfeeding in public.
