@Silkmannn Actually it is safer because here in AZ we've discovered that a bunch of flashing lights and sirens scare suspects and cause them to take dangerous risks when running, so when someone runs they slowly have all the marked units back off and have officers in umarked cars follow a distance away all the while the chopper keeps and eye on the suspect. Maybe if you didn't automatically criticize the police and look at it from their perspective you wouldn't sound so ignorant.
