  • @anirban747, I apologize for the late reply. Thank you for stopping by. Before starting to reply you, I went over to your channel and watched your videos; you are a musical prodigy! I am surprised you are not more famous:-) But then, music is about expressing oneself and you are doing that beautifully.

I am honored that you had good things to say about my playing. Please keep making good music. I will try to be, some day, as good as you are. Thank you, Anirban!

  • Dear AmateurGuitarist,

I admire this song and how do you played it on the guitar. It`s very meditativ. I would like to learn this song and play it in the lunibin where I work. My patients would love this song. Do you have tabs or sheets to share?

    Very best wishes

from Bielefeld - a town in germany

  • @Ibuki1961, thank you! Sorry I did not reply sooner. I have not found the time to write down my arrangement but it's very easy. Please give me some time and I will send you a few hints. You play the guitar really well. And I salute your commitment to humanity. As an aside, I looked up Bielefeld and found out that it's a beautiful place. Someday, maybe I will get to visit you and the beautiful people that you look after! Isn't it strange how music binds us all together? Be well, my friend!

  • @TheAmateurGuitarist

You are always welcome in my home.

    Best wishes to you

    Ibuki

  • @TheAmateurGuitarist ,

  • Great show bro.....Your tune made my eyes wet...

  • @guitardipu, thanks for stopping by, my brother! You melted my heart with your words. I do not know how to react or express my gratitude. I am lucky to have such wonderful people visiting my channel. May the world be blessed with love and peace...

  • This is done with the reverance of saying a prayer on the guitar! Fascinating! It's about time to give us an update!

  • @brynnifyable, thank you for stopping by. That's a very good observation, I was hoping to capture that feeling. I appreciate your feedback on my attempt. I have been lazy for quite some time now:-) I need to take a break from work to record some more videos. That should be soon, and will let you know. Thank you!

  • Beautiful! Never thought this song would sound so good on the classical guitar!

  • @phungbili, thank you for watching. I am happy that you liked it. Based on what I learned from you about the origin of this piece, I am now calling it a classical song and not a folk song :-) Thanks again.

  • I meant "I am now calling it a folk song and not a classical song :-)".

  • Bodhia hoise, keep up the good work. Post some more guitar playing Assames songs esp Jayanta Hazarika...

  • Thank you! Sometimes I wonder how enchanting, sad, happy, or bittersweet must be the stories of yore that the mighty Luit hides deep inside his waters. Perhaps he knows all about every single child, man, woman, tree, animal, worm, and bird that lived, laughed, dreamed, cried, triumphed, and perished...

  • I love it.

  • Thank you! I am honoured that you visited :-)

  • tnx

this is lovely, whatever it is, may be you re an amateur, but you surely are musical...

  • Thank you for the kind words, my friend!

  • Absolutely enjoyed it....took me back to my days in Guwahati and my annual visits to Sibsagar

  • Thanks for stopping by. I am so happy that I was able to bring a smile to your face for a few moments. Wouldn't it be so nice if we could relive those carefree days just one more time - and this time around, being aware of how lucky we are?

A few years down the tunnel of time, the seemingly simple things that we do today will end up becoming precious memories of bygone times...
