  • The Dolphin Research Center has kept dolphins captive for years. Originally Santini's Porpoise School they captured and owned the movie Flipper Mitzi not the TV Flipper. Mitzi had no offspring so a Flipper descendant is untrue. Later u could ride Flipper. A very young Mitzi died shortly thereafter. Now under its more politically correct name it still keeps dolphins captive under the guise of education. Its unfortunate that reports like this supports dolphin captivity.

  • Ik vraag me af of je ooit weleens the Dolphin Research Center hebt bezocht?!?!

  • I love the filming on this piece - the camera shots are spectacular!

  • I love this piece.. Flipper was one of my favorites

  • I loved the filming, it is a beautiful place, but I miss the graphics.

  • This is by far ... you best, yet!

  • Watch Part 2 of our "Florida in Focus" series and learn a little more about an how Dolphins group together! Female dolphins hang together in the "Maternity Pod" to spawn baby dolphins and raise their young. The males/boys, however, stay in what's called the "Bachelor Pod" to go hunter gathering and to also...we found out later from the trainer, Daniel, go sniffing about for more pods of girls. ARGH! Just like human boys! Don't forget to leave your comments in the box provided!
