Why'd you say that, drewby7777? Landru is more like code for the Soviet Union or worse yet, like those ayatolahs dictating to innocent young Iranians about how they should live their lives. On the other hand, Gene's concept of Star Trek is code for Obama and more than any in recent history, at least that's how I look at it from my own point of view.

@dav1d4 Dav, you sound reasonable and here is some "recent" history for you that comes right from Obama's own books. 1) Obama's Father was a member of the Communist party USA. 2) Obama's Mother was a devout progressive socialist who left her second husband and sent Barry Soetoro (Barack) to live with her parents in Hawaii because she realized that he was a supporter capitalism. Her parents belonged to the "Little RED church" in Hawaii, a famed communist gathering place and took "barry".

@dav1d4 One of Barack's mentors growing up in Hawaii was Frank Marshall Davis. He was also a noted communist that the FBI had a file on and was a leading member of the Communist party USA.

Obama admits that he sought out the radicals, socialists and communist professors on the college campus. And to top it all off he was and remains friends with the radical socialist/communists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohn who helped commit terrorist attacks on banks and gov't buildings in the 60's!

When Obama and the dems had total control they took over the banks and insurance companies, took over the major car companies, fired a sitting ceo of a private company for the 1st time in the history of the nation, defrauded private investors in those car companies and gave their buddies in the unions major stakes fdor NO reason. Wanted to dictate what private companies paid their employees, do I need to go on?

The only thing I'll say is that all you needed to do is watch the news from 2009 - 2010, to see just how efficiently the Obama administration "silenced" criticism of their agenda. There's going to be some disagreement, but if there's broad agreement that, in this situation the blue pill works better than the red pill, and it turns out the blue pills are half as expensive as the red pill, then we want to make sure that doctors and patients have that information available to them."

@BloodiestMargie Meaning that just like in England and their NHS dept which refuses people care because of age and /or occupation even to the point that they give care to non-residents before lifelong citizens that paid in their whole lives because the state will get more taxable income from the younger non citizen, the same criteria will apply here. But that is not why Sisko is the greatest captain of them all. Sisko was one of those individuals, a proletarian type, who would be on the front lines with his people when he was needed (Siege of AR-558), would compromise his principles if it meant saving lives (In the Pale Moonlight), |C|
