Of course there are designs of better rockets now, but there is no reason to build them. After the moonlandings the budgets and focus shifted to a space station and the space shuttles were designed to be more efficient for those roundtrips.
The rockets used to put robots on the moon and mars don't need to accommodate humans nor do they need to return to the earth so they can be way less complex.

Over 40 years since the first moon landing and yet there is not one credible, scientific, peer-reviewed paper calling any of it into question. Who are you going to believe? I have to admit, I thought this was a serious video until about the half-way point. But the way the comments of Kissinger, Rumsfeld, Haig, et al were edited made me suspicous. Then when I heard the names of Ambroise Chapel and George Kaplin dropped within two minutes of each other, I knew something was up. After that point the video was downright hilarious. It does make sense that NASA could have used Kubrick's set for filming. I still believe the moon landindgs were faked but...

@arelort I have done research on this. Everything I have been able to determine from that research scientifically supports the contention that we did, in fact, send people to the moon. While I think that Armstrong's first walk may have been shot on a sound stage, for contingency, (In case something went wrong), I don't think anything did and if such a scene was shot, it has since been destroyed. I certainly don't think that what America viewed in 1969 was a sound-stage shoot.

This is a brilliant piece of "mockumentary" filmmaking! I have to say I was caught up in the act for a while, but since I'm an editor and filmmaker myself I began to notice none of the interviews with Nixon's staff ever contained a complete sentence affirming anything! They were simply taken out of context and spliced with fake interviews to validate the lies, albeit in brilliant fashion!
Seems like nearly everyone commenting here missed the point of the film. And actually proved its experiment . It is scary to think that people really do not pay attention. Very scary.

If this was intended to show that people believe conspiracy theories too easily it failed miserably. The only reason I was prepared to entertain the notion was because of Rumsfeld and Kissinger (despite what I know about these individuals).
The only reason I doubted it it was because the physical evidence presented was shodddy.

I stopped it exactly on the second before the music changed (to something like charlie chaplin), because I thought this was real and SK was involved. Then I read a comment about the credits and realised I had stopped the players way too early, I thought it finished.... great, now that was a waste of about an hour of my life! The producers of this disinformation overlooked it.
When someone lies to you, their story always becomes more and more elaborate as they feel the need to 'pad' their story...to make you believe them. This is a hallmark of human lying...i.e. ..."methinks thou doth protest too much..."etc.
Following this thought, one can see the connection to this film. I mean, if we really went, why go through the considerable time and effort assembling all the actual people involved...writing a script...filming them being interviewed...editing etc etc.

well here is a fact: if we had gone to the moon in 1969 and walked around, it would be infinitely easier to go to the moon today, with the space shuttle and the technology available.

I cued these videos up from a playlist & watched them in full screen. I never read the video description but questioned the "documentary's" authenticity very early. Mainly because Rumsfeld, Kissinger, Kendal, Nixon, etc., never speak in terms of the Apollo mission(s). Also, the New York Herald Tribune's article about General Walter's, in the paragraph about his last known public appearance is in a different font size than the rest of the article.

And, used the day after the actual launch as the "Go ahead" day. I was ROFL at that point. It was all fiction, only using some actually historic elements and pictures.

Google: New Apollo 17 Landing Photo Clearly Shows Lander, Flag / Also! They have reflective prisms that were placed there by the astronauts, and are regularly fired at with a laser. 2.5sec there and back. 5sec round trip. They also learned that the moon's orbit is increasing in radius. The Moon goes aproximatly 10cm farther away, every year.

Sometimes it takes a negative to prove a positive...why do I think we DID NOT go to the moon? Because there was a SPACE RACE between us and the Russians. The Russians never tried a moon landing. After the cancellation of Apollo after 17...there were 4 more trips scheduled...the Russians could have owned the moon. Reagan had the last 4 rockets and capsules destroyed. The Russians have had over 30 years to get there but didn't because they know you can't survive the radiation.

The USA needed the publicity and egoboost back then so they poured massive amounts of cash into essentially a mostly futile project.

Over 40 years since the first moon landing and yet there is not one credible, scientific, peer-reviewed paper calling any of it into question. Who are you going to believe? I have to admit, I thought this was a serious video until about the half-way point. But the way the comments of Kissinger, Rumsfeld, Haig, et al were edited made me suspicous. Then when I heard the names of Ambroise Chapel and George Kaplin dropped within two minutes of each other, I knew something was up. After that point the video was downright hilarious. It does make sense that NASA could have used Kubrick's set for filming. I still believe the moon landindgs were faked but...

@arelort I have done research on this. Everything I have been able to determine from that research scientifically supports the contention that we did, in fact, send people to the moon. While I think that Armstrong's first walk may have been shot on a sound stage, for contingency, (In case something went wrong), I don't think anything did and if such a scene was shot, it has since been destroyed. I certainly don't think that what America viewed in 1969 was a sound-stage shoot.

This is a brilliant piece of "mockumentary" filmmaking! I have to say I was caught up in the act for a while, but since I'm an editor and filmmaker myself I began to notice none of the interviews with Nixon's staff ever contained a complete sentence affirming anything! They were simply taken out of context and spliced with fake interviews to validate the lies, albeit in brilliant fashion!

If this was intended to show that people believe conspiracy theories too easily it failed miserably. The only reason I was prepared to entertain the notion was because of Rumsfeld and Kissinger (despite what I know about these individuals).
The only reason I doubted it it was because the physical evidence presented was shodddy.
What this has taught me is that I should question what authority figures can say with a straight face. From this I conclude that 911 was an inside job. Amidoinitrite?

well here is a fact: if we had gone to the moon in 1969 and walked around, it would be infinitely easier to go to the moon today, with the space shuttle and the technology available.
and yet we have not even attempted to go- the moon would be a very strategic location..
and we did not leave and evidence on the moon that can be seen from earth- you think a beacon or refelctive material would have been left.
the van allen radiation belts make travel to the moon impossible even today.

Why would the moon be strategic? It's 250,000 miles away and it takes three days to get there.
A number of reflectors are on the moon and used for laser ranging experiments.
The Belts do not cover the entire Earth and a tran-lunar-injection orbit can be configured to bypass the stronger parts of the belts.

The attempt to splice Rumsfeld, Kissinger, and others as if they were having a conversation when they were all plainly in different rooms and not reacting coherently to each other was terrible. After that, it was stupefyingly obvious that none of the "big names" were making concrete statements, while the "nobodies" told the story. And a CIA director that doesn't speak English??
Making a documentary appear credible must be much harder than they're trying to imply here.

This is a mockumentary - it is an exercise in putting together unrelated footage to make it look like it's real.
Stanley Kubrick was working on a Clockwork Orange from 1969-72, he is known to have not left the UK since before that, and hated flying.
Instead of watching this video, try doing some research. Facts will show that it was virtually impossible that Kubrick was involved.

Nasa made sure there were no stars in the videos and pics. This fact that no stars are in pics and videos proof that the video and pics were taken in a controled envirnment. I cued these videos up from a playlist & watched them in full screen. I never read the video description but questioned the "documentary's" authenticity very early. Mainly because Rumsfeld, Kissinger, Kendal, Nixon, etc., never speak in terms of the Apollo mission(s). @notgoodeenaf I quite enjoyed that, they even made up fictional people/names. Made them look like real participants. Even intentionally used invalid locations for events. And, used the day after the actual launch as the "Go ahead" day. I was ROFL at that point. It was all fiction, only using some actually historic elements and pictures.
Sad thing is, many here did not notice that. This film is an outstanding experiment in human gullibility. Great job to the producers! You have proven something

Google: New Apollo 17 Landing Photo Clearly Shows Lander, Flag / Also! They have reflective prisms that were placed there by the astronauts, and are regularly fired at with a laser. 2.5sec there and back. 5sec round trip. They also learned that the moon's orbit is increasing in radius. The Moon goes aproximatly 10cm farther away, every year.
