I just bought myself a Samsung Gio and it's sooo much better than X10 mini (pro). My X10 did nothing but malfunctioned all the time I had it. Expensive was it too! Bought the Gio for half the price. The display is better and the camera, which is 2 MP less, is waay better too! It responds faster, everything. Today, I said goodbye to Sony Ericsson for a long, long time.

I personally would say to buy the x10 mini seeing as for the price it does practically everything a much more expensive phone would. I have had this phone for about a month and I love it. The texting is very easy, the camera is great and it has many other great features! The only complaint would be the battery which only really lasts a day but I charge mine every night so it's not a fuss anyway!

I have this phone and love it :o . I have never had a problem with the keyboard and I can play lots of games with it despite the small screen. :/ The battery lasts about 3-4 days before it dies using it constantly. idk why people are complaining so much x.x

@ATOMtoADAM11 It scrolls fine :) It laggs if you have 1000's of messages a bit, but it is an amazing phone to have. Although I do have to say, you may want to go for a newer sony erickson at this point ^^ this phone is almost obsolete lol.

P.S : Better Keyboard 8 is very easy to use like a quirty keypad//.facebook for android is also good but freezes at times and lacks some cool features, but i wish if google chat had a voice/video chat option also,,,and sound clarity is nice. overall the x10 is a very cool smartphone :-)

i upgraded to this x10 mini 6 months ago and since then no problems at all and i found it better than HTC, samsung and stuff , x10 is really good in looks, the camera is a bomb with good flash and has got cool applications from android market and i just luvvvvvvvvv google maps and navigation, places and google latitude so user friendly. the battery life can be conserved with switching off wi-fi when not needed and for those who find the keypad difficult can download Better Keyboard 8 from market

Best way to save battery is not to have it on maximum all the time, the touch keypad is accurate, not annoying, because it vibrates when you touch a key. The camera has a very handy flash, I have one, I love it!

Battery life is very bad, goes off if not left on charge overnight. Had this phone for 7 months and it just went dead on me.Battery could not be replaced as it is built into the back of the phone. For people that like to send texts the keypad can be very frustration as it is so close together and take longer than most phones to send out a text. on the plus side the camera is amazing!!, would not recommend.

@JBeadlesTumbles i have had this phone for around 8 months now and i agree that it doesn't have good battery life, however i do think the keypad is excellent for texting and i have never had any problems with it. I also think it sends a text as quick as any other phone i have had. I do like this phone and i find it easy to use. However we all have our own opinions :-)

@JBeadlesTumbles My friend changed battery on x10 mini.. Maybe you don't know how to do it. For texting I recommend to download textPlus application from Market, with it you can text in landscape mode and it is pretty amazing! I have it and I love it :)
