If this recession is a demand side shock, the stimulus should work (as it appears to have done as we are now seeing an increase in GDP growth).

tmo, Moron? lol The money it cost the taxpayers to bail out and stimulate the economy could have given every American a cool mil. How many jobs would THAT have created? What would YOU do with a million dollars? It's funny, too, how you accuse Palin and Christians of wanting to bring on the rapture when the Palestinian Muslim Radicals and Obama are the ones wanting to stop Israel's growth and wipe them off the map to create the chaos necessary to bring their 12th Imam.

What a moron - if the feds didn't stimulate the economy with funding to retain jobs more people would be laid off, people would buy less, more companies would then lay off more workers, people would buy even less, etc... Palin and her fellow Christians will do anything to bring on the rapture, even destroy the USA. These idiots are dangerous. They ruined the economy in 8 years and want to finish us off.

if you acturally knew anything about palin it should be that cutting taxes signifigantly fixes the recession. it worked under reagan, it would work here, but see, you got anti-capitalist obama here that wants MORE GOVERNMENT in the private sector dictating what they believe is right, when its' wrong.

actually, cutting taxes does not directly stimulate the economy the fastest. GDP=Consumption+Net exports+ Investment+Govt spending, with govt spending taking approx. 36% of the pie & also having the ability to cntrl the level of investmet. Basically, the Fed can force interest rates down and spurr investmnt (as the cost of money becomes lower for firms). If this recession is a demand side shock, the stimulus should work (as it appears to have done as we are now seeing an increase in GDP growth).
