The office of "Thrift Supervision"....that is downright laughable in a climate of 2 trillion dollar budget deficits. Sounds like the first government agency to get rid of considering the job they are doing.
@pretorious700 Really? The agency is contradiction in terms? Has nothing to do with those running it like James "The Killeran" Gilleran who showed up on the scene with big banks taking a chainsaw to regulations when his job was to regulate and protect consumers.
Or better yet, what about Greenspan, Rubin, and Summers who's job was to provide stability to the dollar despite having little or no faith in gov't intervention? Anybody else smell a self-fulfilling prophecy?

Hey I like this guy, but global warming? he has got to be smarter than that? hey Max bring on the carbon tax - truly what a shame mate you can't be that stupid.
The problem with citizen unrest in the states is that it's unfocused. When media whores like Glenn Beck and Sarah Pailin get out in front of the "movement", then the media and the progressives can marginalize and vilify the real concerns of the populace. I've come to realize that nothing will change in the US without a Soviet style collapse.

If this banking scandal is what they say it is, why aren't these people in jail? Why isn't this scheme being prosecuted? Are Americans that weak? Are Americans that stupid? Where is the outrage? Why are people going to work to make the same money that has been desicrated by the crooks and fraudsters. We want to see the white collar criminals executed. NOW!
.......interesting......gee a guy setting on the steps of a stamping plant said it right..."they stoled the money"......but, he didn't know one thing....the bankers change the rules (laws from the SNL) brilliant !!!!!
Citizens can demand? When the entire system is rigged in their favour, what can they do? No matter how bad things get, the citizens just seem to take it. Oh sure they moan and some speak out, but nothing happens as a result.
The problem wasn't with increasing the amount of money, per se. It was where the money went. If all the bailout and other "quantitative easing" money had gone into productivity ("Main Street") rather than finance capitalism (Wall Street), the recession/depression would have been over long ago.
gee a guy setting on the steps of a stamping plant said it right..."they stoled the money"......but, he didn't know one thing....the bankers change the rules (laws from the SNL) brilliant !!!!!!!!.
Realise the truth about what's really going on in our financial markets and how the banks deliberately select "brain damaged" people to run their operations - by testing for a complete lack of empathy and morality and giving them the jobs...... Just like getting rapists to look after the nuns in a convent, and when one them gets pregnant blaming her that it's her fault for being female
@eric144144 yep. And the proof is so simple. The proposed solutions all involve new taxes and funneling money all over the place - everywhere but in developing and fielding technology to reverse it.
It looked like MAx was goingt o lose it at 9mins or so when he had run with the Ben Bernake Norman Bates stabbing himself image so far. There was a moment of hesitation in his eyes (quick! cut to Stacy! cut to Stacy!)...LOL

FYI, both of these gentlemen are in Fall of the Republic available right here on youtube.com, but the BEST documentary really is The Money Masters. I highly also recommend listening to Bob Chapman's and Gerald Celente's youtube channels. They also explain to the average person what's really going on.
I have learned that the absolute BEST way for people to understand what is going on with the economy is to watch The Money Masters, Money as Debt I and II, The Creature From Jekyll Island and The Secret of Oz. They are all available on youtube.com. They all ROCK just like Max Keiser. Check them out asap!
We all know these suits are looting the rest of us- we are slaving our asses off to keep our roofs overhead and food on the table while they "work" approximately the same hours but for literally 1000 times the "remuneration". The law wont stop it (they buy the lawmakers) so we need to somehow render the money they have stolen unuseable - barter only works on local scale, we need a strategy to delegitimize the stolen money nationally (and globally). Back to gold? (but they will confiscate it?)
Just to put that in perspective - 1000 times the pay means these suits take per day what we earn in 3 years. No psuedo-scientific argument can justify that extreme, obscene wealth gradient - no-one works 1000 times harder, no-one is 1000 times more stressed, no-one is 1000 times more responsible, no-one is 1000 times more productive. It's just pure looting - plain and simple.
Wow, 20,000 views. That makes me proud. Now if only we could have more than 1% of the views of a Lady GaGa video, maybe this crisis would get fixed and some banker crooks would go to jail.
@WelfareRobot How will anyone in their right mind, waste their time watching lady Caca when Max and Stacey are here to entertain us. I even tried to watch one of it's, videos and I couldn't stomach that "nail to chalkboard" noise. I had to run to the sweet, soothing sounds of Max and Stacey.
@WelfareRobot Maybe they should have titled the video 'lady gaga goes nude while Justin Bieber videotapes it". Guaranteed to pick up a few people whose savings, pensions and future are being stolen from under their noses.
max shouldn't call these guys "brain damaged bankers" because it sounds almost harmless or that their actions are unintentional. they are by every scientific definition of the term PSYCHOPATHS!!
...
read andrew lobaczewski's political ponerology and you will see that this problem is also endemic to politics. psychopaths actually have the ability to recognize each other and in doing so form their own exclusive circles of influence.
Zhang Xin is a former Goldmanite. However, she's painted by the mainstream as a tough kid from the streets with no connections. I'm not surprised about her optimism of the Chinese housing market. Folks like Chanos, Faber, and of course Max and Stacey aren't fooled thought. Hence, neither am I.
Haha Keiser mentioned citizens arrest I was just thinking "where the hell is Batman when you need him?" Seriously, a vigilante like a Batman to go after and punish these criminals on Wall Street seems like what we need because the system won't go after them.
@Roeshamboe05. The hell with the Riddler! The Fed should be the villian in the next Batman film! I think at this point you need more than Batman, you need The Equalizer!
you do not need to 'require the banks to put in more reserves" if you do not bail them out, they will out of their own volition choose to increase reserves (or go bust).
reflexivity being the source of unpredictability is perhaps the deepest thing Ive heard in a while.. A Mandlebrot metaphor assumes that future feedback is seriously constrained by present cirumstances. Now what we need is a way to measure how 'chaotic' the present state is-- i.e how much it can be moved by expectations of the future.
But we never had a virtual coup where psycopathic financial industry banksters captured our regulatory officers, central bank and the government executive branch either.
Oh America, how could you allow your representatives to ignore the bed rock principles of honesty and integrity for sooo long.
The guy said no citizen unrest but the citizens can demand that the accounting fraud stop. That doesnt make any sense...the citizens have no power anymore. The ones that have the power to make the fraud stop are participating in the fraud. Citizen unrest and revolt is the only way they will stop pillaging us.
Payback, vengeance, or is it divine justice; that the Euro will soon replace the dollar on the global stage. Jobs and corporations fled overseas to beat the dollar and the tax rates, which means that Wall Street and the DOW have dug their own graves.

@dontblockmedk 'wage slavery' is an oxymoron. Profit is not inherently corrupt, and any attempt to equitably distribute 'minimum necessities' will inherently lead to corruption. Who's going to organize the distribution?
@r I haven't got time to answer the same idiotic statements and questions over and over. Watch the videos and if you still don't understand ask an intelligent question.
@dontblockmedk Like I need a couple of YouTube videos to explain Marxist economics or tenets of some forms of anarchism. I recommend reading Frederick Douglass' take on 'wage slavery'. Plus, since you seem to be lacking in economics, try Mises, Hayeck or Rothbard.
"Property is theft" is catchy, but it doesn't even cohere with itself. How can ownership be stealing? It's like saying "survival is homicide".
@r I read all that and believed it for 10 years until I realized it is all theory that never worked in the real world. The bottom line is that all manual labor and most skilled labor can be done better, cheaper, faster by machines and computers. Capitalist requirement to have full employment is keeping us from having full automation.
I never said property is stealing, I said if we create abundance there will be enough for everyone so property is OBSOLETE. Why are you afraid to watch the vids?
True right MELISSA84008. Here in Australia after sustaining a car accident, the TAC (Transport Accident Commission, a monopoly medico car accident insurance body here in Victoria.) removed all my treatments and financial help meticulously/viciously. I find myself seeking counseling in government clinics with RFID cards that are used to get in and out of counseling and video cameras everywhere......Argggghhhhhhhh It was like going to prison. Needles to say i felt like i was counselled by a jail.
I love Keiser, he is clearly a very knowledgeable guy and seems to be completely lacking that mask of bullshit that so many people of the media put up the moment the camera starts rolling.
@jimbobubbadj. Cramer is still on there because the PR machine that is CNBC needs him to shill for Wall Street and the Fed. However, his time may be limited if Comcast gets the ok to buy NBC Universal from GE. Zero Hedge reported the ratings for Mad Money and Kudlow Report are in the crapper and Comcast may want to cancel them. I think the lowpoint for Cramer is when comedian Jon Stewart raked Cramer & CNBC over the coals for their not seeing the Panic of 08 coming. This occurred I think in 09.
This was ALL PLANNED to bring in the one world government and one world currency!!! We are the brink of becoming a cashless society..RFID....there are no other answers!!! Party over!!!
Maybe not private person arrest but what is wrong with a arrest by a peace officer? There is obviously a solid case against fraud. Damn these banksters!!!
There was piece by RT where it was indicated that similar drought in Russia happened around 130 years ago which was accompanied by flood in Pakistan. I would recommend that one needs to understand Milton Friedman before criticising his work. Max doesn't want to go Naomi Klien rout who misrepresented Milton's work by 180 degree. Milton always emphasized it is 'Profit/LOSS' system and not Profit system as is the case today.
Yes, it is a nice theory, free market sounds great in theory just like marxism, but it does not really work in practice. Some universities have just produced generations of brainwashed free market prayers...It is such a radical ideology
@AustrianAtheist - Spirits incarnate, living as humans in our midst; moving openly and freely, yet undetected by the masses, or even their hosts. Like the spasms of a decapitated body, the fact of the matter, thats precisely what it is; if you really think about it. Their illusions are many, which overtake the sleepwalking masses. Now know that they do take flesh and walk among men, to mold a new species. Die young and stay pretty. It's just a message for the stoke: SaintVeil
@AustrianAtheist I disagree! being that we have no other examples, just freemarket & the recent learned lesson, and this lesson wasn't an idea driven by the majority of folks within the populace. free market-ism was derailed by over reaching money zealots, which is a much nicer term than defining what they really are. if u can imagine another medium, let everyone know. this current fallacy is an example of an attempt at something once perceived (by a few) as being better than a free market.
Pure capitalism just does not work. a mixture of socialism and capitalism is the best in practice Strong labour unions, direct democracy, taxing the rich plus capitalism, private property of means of production.
I think that qualitiy of life in countries that followed the path of pure capitalism is really worse than in countries like Sweden, Norway, Austria.
again i disagree. what interest does a "labor union" really have in a free market? protecting the workers??? labor unions are/is a device that mirrors as a toxic by-product of capitalism. i mean you're trying to protect and at the same time your costs rise, when it's not the workers who should be looked after. the interest is in the cost of the product rising at all. why does it rise? demand?? that's an insane theory. i can see if the product is of limited quantity as in "oil"
Without labour unions, the capitalists can do what they want -> Chinese wages/no maximum working hours/no minimum wage for less efficient workers/no solidarity/...
And don't forget, the profits of the big companies are moved around the globe, the salaries of the workers stay in the economy of their country.
@AustrianAtheist what you pointed out just come across as being "law" what do you need unions for again? a person shouldn't have to partake in a union to make sure they get to keep their shirt. a union is an outdated middleman concept that law should absorb. if there is equal opportunity for any entrepreneur to get their product out into the market. the more the better. as of now we're driven to "walmart" because it is unfairly cheaper, but cheap none the less.
imagine a quality store having low prices just as Walmart. there was a company that came about during the mid 80's called Alesis. now there were drum machines already on the market selling for 2-3k, but what Alesis delivered into the market was an equivalent functioning machine for just $400. that's what happens in free markets.
Man, have you ever worked in a factory? When you are on your own, the boss decides everything, including the wages. One quote: "The proleariat is free to sell its labour force and free from means of production" (so it is not an equal contract between one capitalist and one worker) The whole theory of price being the result of offers/demand does not change that fact.
@AustrianAtheist I'm not quite clear on what you're trying to mean here: "The proletariat is free to sell its labour force and free from means of production".
It is a quote from Marx about his famous irony of the doubled freedom of the Proletariat.
The working class is "free" to work, but since it has no means of production in practice it is forced to sell itself.
You do not have to be a marxists to agree on that one. (Marx then continues to compare the Proletariat that in practice has to work, with the peasants of feudalism, and then the profit of their owners, with the profit of the owners of the means of production
It's the "free from means of production" that i'm not grasping. This sounds really interesting. I've just come across "the communist conspiracy. strategy & tactics of world communism" which the quote you typed, led me to. i'm going to read up on this.
I would recommend you, to just read some original stuff. Read Adam Smith, Ricardo, but also Marx. I think it is a shame, how the fact of dictatorships that called themselves communist have changed our perception of literature from a different time and with different ambitions. (socialists that were fighting for human rights, democracy, liberty...and not a party dictatorship; just think of the socialist criticism of Bauer, Luxemburg, Hilferding against the early soviet regime)
so because the cost of oil rises this then affects transportation costs of the product so the difference is made up by increasing the price? but it's probably thousand fold. and how every other business jumps on the bandwagon is in itself a nutty endeavor against the populace. the profit margin of business has gotten out of hand. there's a point of content and then there's a point of greed.
@AustrianAtheist Capitalism and free society have to be supported by profit & LOSS (risk & reward), labor should be free to move from one job to another, voluntary agreements between parties, free flow of information, and so on. Regulators should make sure whoever violates these basic rules should be fined not bailed out as is the case today. This is not Friedman version of capitalism...you review his videos and then come to conclusions.
The absolute dictatorship of the capital has nothing to do with a free society. Voluntary agreements between "weak and strong" support the strong side.
Yes, we need strong regulation, but Germany/France are the only countries that support international regulation. In the US serious regulation does not really exist...they still believe that the market somehow regulates itself....crazy ideology...
@AustrianAtheist I guess you have to spend some time with Friedman videos on capitalism and free society. No one said regulations and Government should be absent. US regulations (SOX/CFTC, etc) exist but they are so cumbersome that small enterprises cannot even think of complying, thus barriers to entry are high for entreprenuers and innovators until and unless they raise funds or sell large stake to VCs. Take some time and read about Friedman...if not done already.
There has been nada in the enforcement arena. Selective enforcement of law is the primary indicator of a failed third world state. O`Bushbama continuity is killing us. We are being "Naked Shorted" into the poor house. Whilst, Wall Street profits from it's subsidized short positions on the U.S. Vote for the 3rd party of your choice. Because, it's already too late!! The Demolican Republicrat kool aid paradigm did it's job. Welcome to the globalists' / outsourced version of heaven!!
@jlya2012 the world population could fit into Spain, there is abundance for all, trouble is it's controlled by few, if alternative energy is ever set free then we will know greater peace
Great program. Never miss. Now reliant on youtube or foreign stations like Russia Today for the true financial news. Make the most of it before governments take total conrol of the internet.
@jimmycrackedcorn225 the fascist internet is near. a true declaration of war on the freedom of speech. it is probably already a done deal. way too much truth to be "allowed".
I don't have empathy either. I usually work for those type, but I stick it to them also. Jaime Dimon,,what a joke and the retards in the audience. Figure this 'curve ball", (besides the obvious one): at one point people will just look at the dollar and not want it. Which may occur outside the algorithms the planners calculate. Simple example: no one want the newly minted coin dollar. Something unexpected could trigger the public perception of money & cause change faster than planned.
Max isn't saying we're running out of soil and crap like that. He's saying we haven't been paying our dues to the environment.
Corporations operate in 3rd world countries without environmental standards and dump pollutants without remorse. Governments spend money on petty re-election garbage instead of investing in waste management infrastructure. As for me, I threw out a disposable coffee cup just now.
Change starts from the bottom and moves up. We all need to contribute a bit at a time.
Always enjoy your show Max and Stacy. We know that Corporations, Banks and Governments are criminals. Could you do a few shows for those of us who have very little money? What do we do during this economic depression where all the prices are going up? Wages stuck at 1990 levels? Some ideas for those stuck with credit card debt? We are not billionaires..
I feel society has been erroneously spoon fed, the "Growth" ideology and left the practicality of contentment behind. why does anything like a Home Depot or a Ralph's supermarket have to grow? can't they just be content with the provision the business provides for their families? why do businesses compete so ruthlessly? here is the fault in this: we're all gaming on every level of our lives. we're caught up in competition so much that we don't evolve in other areas more absolute to humanity.
1) money addiction (single most effective dopamine trigger!!)
[Olds J, Milner P. (1954). "Positive reinforcement produced by electrical stimulation of septal area and other regions of rat brain". J Comp Physiol Psychol 47 (6): 41927.]
2) under-diagnosed, tolerated and in Western Civilizations hugely honored antisocial personality disorder (ICD-10 / 3-6% male pop.), which destroys reciprocal altruism.
Not in communities who punish/socially ban sociopaths.
It's the natural social order, following the Golden Rule.
wiki/Reciprocal_altruism:
"Moralistic aggression: A protection mechanism from cheaters acts to regulate the advantage of cheaters in selection against the altruists. The moralistic altruist may want to educate or even punish a cheater.
(...)
Subtle cheating. A stable evolutionary equilibrium could include a low percentage of mimics in controversial support of adaptive sociopathy."
The disbelief in this world today is causing us not to believe in anything, possibly not even in ourselves as we are told that 'some are too-big-to-fail or prosecute' and that we have to pay (BAIL OUT) their obscene actions. We need a new concept in law for these thieves, and that is an 'Obscenity Law' that will demonstrate and prove these CEO's and Board Members have acted and created obscene high risk (thievery) situations (to create OBSCENE profits + bonuses) for which they are liable.

The problem wasn't with increasing the amount of money, per se. It was where the money went. If all the bailout and other "quantitative easing" money had gone into productivity ("Main Street") rather than finance capitalism (Wall Street), the recession/depression would have been over long ago.

BiggerThinking1 1 year ago
Just to put that in perspective - 1000 times the pay means these suits take per day what we earn in 3 years. No psuedo-scientific argument can justify that extreme, obscene wealth gradient - no-one works 1000 times harder, no-one is 1000 times more stressed, no-one is 1000 times more responsible, no-one is 1000 times more productive. It's just pure looting - plain and simple.

"Free market" is ROOT of all problems and impossible
1. how do you eliminate inherent corruption of the profit motive?
2. how do you ensures that everyone has the minimum necessities?
ANSWER
1. FREELY Share ALL resources and knowledge worldwide, NO more money/property
2. Use LATEST technology to create an ABUNDANCE of all our needs, NO more scarcity, waste or theft
3. Automate/localize ALL production and distribution, NO more wage slavery or central control

It's like saying "survival is homicide".
reefpirate 1 year ago
@r I read all that and believed it for 10 years until I realized it is all theory that never worked in the real world. The bottom line is that all manual labor and most skilled labor can be done better, cheaper, faster by machines and computers. Capitalist requirement to have full employment is keeping us from having full automation.
I never said property is stealing, I said if we create abundance there will be enough for everyone so property is OBSOLETE. Why are you afraid to watch the vids?

@jimbobubbadj. Cramer is still on there because the PR machine that is CNBC needs him to shill for Wall Street and the Fed. @AustrianAtheist I disagree! being that we have no other examples, just freemarket & the recent learned lesson, and this lesson wasn't an idea driven by the majority of folks within the populace. free market-ism was derailed by over reaching money zealots, which is a much nicer term than defining what they really are. if u can imagine another medium, let everyone know. this current fallacy is an example of an attempt at something once perceived (by a few) as being better than a free market.
dentistsugardusty 1 year ago
Pure capitalism just does not work. a mixture of socialism and capitalism is the best in practice Strong labour unions, direct democracy, taxing the rich plus capitalism, private property of means of production.
I think that qualitiy of life in countries that followed the path of pure capitalism is really worse than in countries like Sweden, Norway, Austria.
All the radicals of the 80s were wrong.
AustrianAtheist 1 year ago
@AustrianAtheist
again i disagree. what interest does a "labor union" really have in a free market? protecting the workers??? labor unions are/is a device that mirrors as a toxic by-product of capitalism. i mean you're trying to protect and at the same time your costs rise, when it's not the workers who should be looked after. the interest is in the cost of the product rising at all. why does it rise? demand?? that's an insane theory. i can see if the product is of limited quantity as in "oil"
dentistsugardusty 1 year ago
Without labour unions, the capitalists can do what they want -> Chinese wages/no maximum working hours/no minimum wage for less efficient workers/no solidarity/...
And don't forget, the profits of the big companies are moved around the globe, the salaries of the workers stay in the economy of their country.
AustrianAtheist 1 year ago
@AustrianAtheist what you pointed out just come across as being "law" what do you need unions for again? a person shouldn't have to partake in a union to make sure they get to keep their shirt. a union is an outdated middleman concept that law should absorb. if there is equal opportunity for any entrepreneur to get their product out into the market. the more the better. as of now we're driven to "walmart" because it is unfairly cheaper, but cheap none the less.
dentistsugardusty 1 year ago
imagine a quality store having low prices just as Walmart. there was a company that came about during the mid 80's called Alesis. now there were drum machines already on the market selling for 2-3k, but what Alesis delivered into the market was an equivalent functioning machine for just $400. that's what happens in free markets.
dentistsugardusty 1 year ago
Man, have you ever worked in a factory? When you are on your own, the boss decides everything, including the wages. One quote: "The proleariat is free to sell its labour force and free from means of production" (so it is not an equal contract between one capitalist and one worker) The whole theory of price being the result of offers/demand does not change that fact.
AustrianAtheist 1 year ago
@AustrianAtheist I'm not quite clear on what you're trying to mean here: "The proletariat is free to sell its labour force and free from means of production".
what is this saying?
dentistsugardusty 1 year ago
It is a quote from Marx about his famous irony of the doubled freedom of the Proletariat.
The working class is "free" to work, but since it has no means of production in practice it is forced to sell itself.
You do not have to be a marxists to agree on that one. (Marx then continues to compare the Proletariat that in practice has to work, with the peasants of feudalism, and then the profit of their owners, with the profit of the owners of the means of production
AustrianAtheist 1 year ago
@AustrianAtheist
It's the "free from means of production" that i'm not grasping. This sounds really interesting. I've just come across "the communist conspiracy. strategy & tactics of world communism" which the quote you typed, led me to. i'm going to read up on this.
dentistsugardusty 1 year ago
I would recommend you, to just read some original stuff. Read Adam Smith, Ricardo, but also Marx. I think it is a shame, how the fact of dictatorships that called themselves communist have changed our perception of literature from a different time and with different ambitions. (socialists that were fighting for human rights, democracy, liberty...and not a party dictatorship; just think of the socialist criticism of Bauer, Luxemburg, Hilferding against the early soviet regime)
AustrianAtheist 1 year ago
so because the cost of oil rises this then affects transportation costs of the product so the difference is made up by increasing the price? but it's probably thousand fold. and how every other business jumps on the bandwagon is in itself a nutty endeavor against the populace. the profit margin of business has gotten out of hand. there's a point of content and then there's a point of greed.
dentistsugardusty 1 year ago
and the greed i refer to is when balance returns, but the increased prices remain. that's manipulation of freemarket
dentistsugardusty 1 year ago
@AustrianAtheist Capitalism and free society have to be supported by profit & LOSS (risk & reward), labor should be free to move from one job to another, voluntary agreements between parties, free flow of information, and so on. Regulators should make sure whoever violates these basic rules should be fined not bailed out as is the case today. This is not Friedman version of capitalism...you review his videos and then come to conclusions.
Immy1993 1 year ago
The absolute dictatorship of the capital has nothing to do with a free society. Voluntary agreements between "weak and strong" support the strong side.
Yes, we need strong regulation, but Germany/France are the only countries that support international regulation. In the US serious regulation does not really exist...they still believe that the market somehow regulates itself....crazy ideology...
AustrianAtheist 1 year ago
@AustrianAtheist I guess you have to spend some time with Friedman videos on capitalism and free society. No one said regulations and Government should be absent. US regulations (SOX/CFTC, etc) exist but they are so cumbersome that small enterprises cannot even think of complying, thus barriers to entry are high for entreprenuers and innovators until and unless they raise funds or sell large stake to VCs. Take some time and read about Friedman...if not done already.

@Tressco What I find absurd about this is the assumption that someone who trades with another for mutual benefit is a "cheater".
But that's the beauty of Liberty. If you want to associate with others only through this "altruism" theory, you go right ahead.
I will very gladly associate with people who believe they benefit by that association, and vice versa.

It's the cheater in game theory.
Familiar with that?

@Tressco Mutual benefit is not "cheating".

@Tressco Let me try a different tack on this.
If I do not believe I gain, why would I bother to execute the trade at all?

Gaining is okay.
If you gain without paying any cost, you're cheating. Like banks & corporations nowadays privatize gains while socializing losses.
But Reciprocal Altruism is more than only fair trade.
It's behavior, an attitude towards others like in the Golden Rule.

@Tressco "If you gain without paying any cost, you're cheating."
That's opinion, not fact. There is no way to know what another person is "paying".
Simple politeness is easy, when there is enough, and with the productivity of the free market one can spend time worrying about politeness.
What bothers me is not being considerate to others, but those who wish to impose their idea of politeness upon others by force.
Where freedom flourishes, so does charity and decency.

@REOcanada3 How about strict liability? No prosecutions of a corporate "person", but the actual people who made the decisions that caused harm?
