The Best tool interviews are the ones with Adam and Danny. No real sarcasm and you can feel the pure excitement of what they are talking about. They don't give half ass answer, just what they think. That and they just appear as nice upstanding people unlike the singer.

danny said himself thats its just a basic way of arranging his drums in a way that sounds harmonious and in tune with natural frequencies etc, its just taking an abstract concept and using it for a practical application..look, hes a kickass drummer that does stuff that NO ONE else does, why cant you be a bit more open minded and accept that someone could draw inspiration (beit at a vague level) from something more abstract than the standard "R'n'R" drum phrases etc?

sacred geometry is a spiritual practice, if that is something that inspires the members of tool then personally I don't why it's so strange that they incorporate it into their music. philsophy and spirituality are a big part of all art forms. also geometry is just patterns, it seems to me that sacred geometry would be the perfect thing to incorporate into drumming.
