don't yell at me let me explain

in some anime we have characters from places like italy and such, but in all honesty it breaks the flow when they speak in a perfect japanese accent

in dub we can get them to speak in the right accents and sometimes some dubbed voices sound better than the japanese ones

don't get me wrong, i'd rather read subs in alot of things, just Hellsing is an example of a good dub

Sure Dubs aren't always that good but in this case it is, When you have an anime set outside of Japan with non-Japanese characters the voices come off more authentic as a dub. I mean Integra with an English voice or Japanese voice which sounds more authentic -_-

Dubs do suck so no wonder most complain about that...watch same scene with subs and difference is huge.For example Tubalcain voice actor is unknown and probably another dude who voices shows for 7 years old,while in subs his voice actor is Otsuka that did Gundam(Gable) and Naruto(as Jiraiya)so i recognized him right away.And he did great job unlike this guy who fails so bad at imitating Spanish accent.

Dubs are usually better than the dub counterpart (One Piece, Bleach, Fairy Tail etc etc), but there are exceptions (Hellsing, Death Note, just to name 2)

I kinda like the fact that there so far will not be a Hellsing live action movie. For one I don't think the japanese studios will have the money to make the special effects like hollywood is able to do. And I would not want Hollywood to make make it because it will totally ruin it. Thinking about it like that makes me agree with the Hellsing author for for just wanting to leave it in anime form. @magmablock good point. Anderson was able to survive his fight and a couple of roughhouses with Alucard and managed to play a key part in the later part of the story. The others were just killed on the first time and were either mindless minions of the familiar army or if you were Luke, you got dominated right after you were revived. If only they were more powerful.
