This "ride" would make much more sense if it was part of the studio tour at Universal Hollywood instead. Otherwise it doesn't make sense that people wait in line for a 2 minute show.

I loved how the queue was through a creaky dark house :) this isn't a ride technically, but it's great watching it and actually being there to experience it! if people think this is lame and haven't been there, boy are you missing out. can't wait to come back to Orlando!

I LOVE how much detail they put into this! They even had The Shining playing on the screen in the background, just like from the movie! Definetly a nostalgic ride from my childhood. Hope they never replace it!

@Babofan001 You don't need to worry about anything. It's quite scary, but not like people jump out at you scary. It's more of just a show with special effects, and you just stand there. The platform you stand on moves a little bit (sorry for the spoiler) but other than that, it's nothing too bad. I think it just psyches you out.

The first time I went on this I actually did get kinda freaked out. You walk out onto the sound stage and it's like your outside, and it actually feels really humid, which I thought was amazing. The only part that kinda made me jump was at the end when the tornado gets wrapped around in the fire and then the stands fall a bit, but still, great show. Very realistic!
