This is definitely my number onespeech of all time. A better world is indeed possible. There will be a time, when our soldiers lay their weapons down and noone will fight corporate wars anymore. not really, have you heard of the nature vs, nurture debate? science has pretty much proven that our genes dictate our actions alot more than outside influences. And if you give two infants one bottle of milk, they will fight to the death for it. If you look at infants closely, you will see a very devious character.
But the only reason why infants would behave this way is because their psychological structure is at the stage that only aims in fulfilling personal satisfaction.
As humans, we were made to survive and depending on any situations we'll face, we will somehow do what's needed to survive by any means necessary.
Milk does not come from a bottle. neither does man come from himself.
Children come from parents. milk comes from the love of a breast feeding mother. The child brings love to the mother by being hers to feed. The Mother brings love to the child by being his nurturer and comforter.
the babies who fight for the bottle of milk are not loved. When they are loved their is no want for milk because it is already there.
When both child and mother have each other there is peace. Love never fails.
If you there was an adequate supply of loving mothers is the world, but as any sane man would know, there is far too few. Children everywhere grow up fighting because it comes natural to them. Even those who have loving families would kill when rescources become scarce.

Far-right parties attract the same group as left-wing parties - the workers.

Charles Chaplin is the greatest filmmaking genius of all time. Writer, actor, music composer, producer, director...phenomenal talent and his films are timeless. They blow away today's lame attempts at comedy and they are very moving as well. Great movie, The Great Dictator (Hitler stole Chaplin's mustache BTW, Chaplin had it first). As for this quote from John, however...it sounds like humanistic, do-gooder talk. Man is sinful and needs to ask the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive him.

Children come from parents. milk comes from the love of a breast feeding mother. The child brings love to the mother by being hers to feed. The Mother brings love to the child by being his nurturer and comforter.
the babies who fight for the bottle of milk are not loved. When they are loved their is no want for milk because it is already there.
When both child and mother have each other there is peace. Love never fails.

If you there was an adequate supply of loving mothers is the world, but as any sane man would know, there is far too few. Children everywhere grow up fighting because it comes natural to them. Even those who have loving families would kill when rescources become scarce.

@cecisota12 sure, but if you look at various other things which the nazi party did in germany eg. the state-sponsored 'people's car' scheme which brought about volkswagen, expansion of the welfare state, nationalisation of various industries and the state funded opportunity for all germans to achieve higher education, you can see that the nazi party used many elements of the left as well as the right. Far-right parties attract the same group as left-wing parties - the workers.

@cecisota12 yeah, although Russia after the revolution of 1917 may have delivered real communism which Lenin tried to achieve, but a large part of the group who fought for it were destroyed by the white armies of conservatives, monarchists etc. after the revolution and this paved the way for people like Stalin.

Charles Chaplin is the greatest filmmaking genius of all time. Writer, actor, music composer, producer, director...phenomenal talent and his films are timeless. They blow away today's lame attempts at comedy and they are very moving as well. Great movie, The Great Dictator (Hitler stole Chaplin's mustache BTW, Chaplin had it first). As for this quote from John, however...it sounds like humanistic, do-gooder talk. Man is sinful and needs to ask the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive him.

In a free democratic society, we can vote for politicians that promise public programs sponsored by the government. Free Individuals, working together, can do what they want. Free market idealists cannot dictate to the rest of us.
Nothing says socialism cannot be compatible when free people vote for social programs. Free people working together is what makes us great. Individuals have the right to social programs just as much as individuals have the right to vote.

I don't prefer chaos. I prefer a free society in which everyone can choose it's own life, rather than a majority who can dictate their ways to a minority. What makes the majority right? Thumbs down? He speaks the truth. A Democracy calls for a Big and Powerful Federal Government (Hence Democrat). A Republic goes to states' right. States are smaller and therefore easier to control by the people. With a small government (Federal gov,), the crutch to the corporations is lost, and along with it's power. So long as the people learn to control, take care, and educate themselves the power is theirs. Republicans these days aren't Conservatives. They are fascist. Learn the difference.
