nft is a very out dated method im curently growing skunk number 1 , in a deep water culture system with an added bubler ,extremely short nodes and they stink already
all i know is if the guy is using NFT (nutrient film technique)... then he knows what the fuck he's doing! this is basically the least forgiving way there is to grow a plant.. if anything interrupts the pump that creates the nutrient film then your plants roots are screwed
If done right, a 250-watt with 4 plants will be plenty of light (mylar etc.) but I took a second look and your space needs a 400watt cuz its a few square feet to big for a 250 watt.
They look lanky cuz he started with the light to far, start with the light closer(10-13in) but not close so that it burns the plants . Also the fan should not be blowing down on the plants, it should blow thru them or going up thru them. leaving the fan there while having light close will burn them quick from drying out. Do this right, and your plant should look way fatter and fit with many branches to hold buds.IMO
whatever mate that plant looks top knotch, its not going to be taking strolls in the park, so it dont need to move about much. if it couldn't breathe it wouldn' look like that
i'm just talking from experience i've got more yield and overall size from bigger breathing and moving room theres all kinds of ways to grow the video shows a cheap closet grow and its cool if you wants a few 0z's here and there and it does need to move the leaves moving around simulate outside enviroment with the wind and it makes the plant stronger and produce more resin so if your taking the time to do it do it the right way and it will pay off big time

long lanky plants w/ long nodes, looks like not enough light. people use a 400 mh for clones and seedlings, but a 250 from begin to end?
