Every musical field of every country has copy cat. Don't just criticize Lay Phyu, you can go further with Chinese music or Thai or Philipino whatever. Of course, western musicians can get the best for their production and they can make the best music. You guys can proud for that, but don't underestimate others. He is such a talented musician with the magnificent voice. I had to admit that. Cover-up(copy) songs really make him look stupid but what worse is he is enjoying doing covers. This song A-Linn-Yaung(The color of light or Light) is his original song which made me intrigued about him. He could have been famous all over the world but... oh well.

No problem. FYI, I used to be really negative about him and his copy music. If you have time, listen Ka Na Lay Myar album which is said to be all own tune(mu pine than zin). Yet, a couple of tracks sounds slightly similar to creed style grunge especially, guitar tabs but I still love and am proud of the whole album. xXRock OnxX

I'm not trying to praise the copy things but i don't agree with your statement cos even if you do the copy, most of the times you just can't overtake the original but there're exceptions like 'A Lwan Myar'. What do you think is harder? listen them and sing urself or make yourself a own tune and try to sing it? And yes it is easier to copy a famous other people songs than to make urself one as well.
