the human form is his true form. I want to clear this up, We have seen the true from of Earl but never clearly he is always in the shadows only able to see his monocul. We seen his body and shape of his head, but not any features. We may not see his face until the end of the series, and now that the manga is on hold who knows when thats going to happen. But Lets hope we see the earls human form soon
