Overkill paintball mix

what the fuck is up with the woodsball hating? i mean come on, we're all paintballers. i speedball, and i woodsball too. neither one is better than the other, you both get rushes of adrenaline, and they both take skill, COMPLETLY different skill sets, but the same amount of each. put me in the woods against 5 hardcore speedball players and i can take them all out myself, but put 5 of me on a speedball field against one good speedballer, i dont stand a chance

people degrade what they suck at, and true woodsball skills are less common than speedball skills. i'm a speedballer myself, and can say this without throwing a childish fit

noone is saying woodsball isnt better, but woodsball is stuffed with idiots with replica weapons who like to run around in the woods and play war, speedball is more proffesional, sure you got the idiots there too, but alot less in speedball than in woodsball =)

i also think woodsball can be fun and cool, but speedball is a sport, woodsball is a game, i think thats the main difference here=)

@mattwg2009 I only play paintball with local friends, but we have a field that is half speed, half woodsball. there you have to have both skills and i agree with you about the skills and the odds against others, but out there you have to be able to swap between skills instantly

i got a question, i woodsball. and it seems some people in the woodsball vids dont like speedballers. Is there some kind of hate between Speedballers and Woodsballers?

Well a while ago abviously before you started to play no offence fields ran out of space and started to take woodsball fields out and make then speedball and then the vice versa happened and it just is some people stil have a nasty taste in their mouth personally i hate some woodsball players but overall we are one fucked up family :)

yeah,. i thinks its the mindset, woodsballers like to run heavy and are impractical. speedballers like to run around spray and slide among other things but if you were to put both on the same field im sure speedballers win

bleh with woods ball its feels more realistic and speed ball is *sorry* but its boring you hide behind bunkers and the fields are small compared to some woods ball fields, diff ppl have diff thoughts but i like woods ball.

ya but i get a bigger adrenaline rush from speedball. its more fun when you have the right equipment, trust me. when ur snapshootin tryin to get a paintball on sum1 so close, it really gets ur heart pumping. woodsball is wut got me into paintball, but speedball is wuts keepin me goin

Hey i need someones approval on my gun its a Spyder Victor with a rocking trigger, evo 3 hopper, and 12" freak barrel i started paintballin about 5 months ago and i think its a good gun but thats just and i was wondering if thats good to start off with

Yup, you have a quite alright marker right there. I don't want to troll it, but the Victor is not a really great gun, but you have a freak barrel and evo 3 so you're good with those for sure. You are 100% good to go, just get a different gun later, or maybe you're really good with your Victor, but all in all, you can go play with those, you won't have the worst gear there.

@ThrowSomePaint does it shoot paintballs at <300fps? if so you're good to go. learn more about the limits of your game, what you can and cant do, and expand on it. the gun doesnt make the player. you may want/need something later on with adjustable rates of fire if you decide to get into tournies. just a hint, you dont need anyones approval man, paintball is a sport that you make fit YOU. just because team XYZ uses egos and is good, buyin an ego wont make you good. shoot what you like
