  • Best handguns in my opinion Glock 30 for a concealed weapon or a .32 h&r airlight, then a suppressed Mark 23, taurus judge to just obliterate someone and then the FN five-seven just in case.

  • Very ,very insightful video,I carry the 40 XD ,I but I think I'm going to try the M&P 45 ,I know the glock and the xd our similar but I like my XD don't like glock at all,but good video very goo info

  • M&P being able to strip a round while inserting mag, quick trigger reset and a better grip angle with excellent sight radius, sights are metal gets my vote. Would trust my life to all three actually own all three but in my opinion smith is the best gun due to the fact that literally everyone who has shot my M&P end up wanting one. Just my thought. All are great guns. Smith, glock, xd.

  • i have over 15000+ rounds through a glock19 , not one single malfunction...i put 1000 rounds of junk wolf through it, than another 500 rounds of brown bear through it and without cleaning on purpose - still ran like a clock...when i finally cleaned it, i used a small flathead to scrape the grime out of it...it's all opinion as to what you think is better for you - but i can say from personal experience that my glock is dependable...

  • @1789000 ill back that my brother got the 21 sf (.45) put 2000 without cleaning no failure to fire and no failure to feed it will eat and spit anything

  • glock, then xd, then m&p, just personal preference.

  • wow you guys know nothing 2500+ rounds through my glock and not a single failure at ALL

  • between the 3, M&P is the finer of the pistols

  • @daren313 Daren, calm down brother. We are all on the same side here. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that thhis site was help provide intel to one another. You know as well as I that opinions are just like assholes, everyone has one. However a disagreement doesn't give anyone the right to act like one.

  • @firefighhter299

    well said, thanks

  • Why isn't there a Berretta 92, or M92 FS? I have one and I love it. Oh well, guess it didn't make the cut here.

  • A Glock & two Glopies.

  • I wouldn't suggest a Glock for anyone despite all of the hoopla and hype that everyone says about them. They're bulky, heavy, and the safety system is the equivalence of stating to someone to just be careful. Its a dumb gun. They're are better pistols on the market. Buy American.

  • @daren313 "They're Heavy" - Daren the Dumbass. Actually Glocks are one of the lightest pistols on the market. A lot of things are subjective when it comes to guns.. Weight is not one of them. The Glock is lighter than the two other options on this table. Not to mention, it it wasn't for Glock, the other two wouldn't even exist, neither would the S&W Sigma, the Steyr M9, or the Ruger SR.

  • @daren313 I think I will be going with S&W M&P 45. The brown frame and black slide :)

  • Lol I can't spell. Point ability. And anyday

  • I get it. But first and foremost there's one manufacturer everyone seems eager to forget. I'd take a Sig over any gun on that table anyway of the week. Sig has consistently out performed every gun on that table outlasted them as well it's lighter has better dimensions paintability conceal ability and it's available in FDE just like those and it's not boxy.

  • I never said to have a empty chamber. i just stated thats all the glock takes to be ready to go. Maybe you should check your head.

  • None of the above.

  • the Croatian import has a good pricepoint, but the slide is large and topheavy. the M&P has the endorsement of Pat Rogers and other professional Haji killers. that alone says enough.... The glock, well it's a glock. once you get over the dry heaves because it's so ugly, it'll work fine.

  • All great guns. But the glock is best for a concealed carry weapon. One pull of the slide and the gun is ready to go. No safety or anything to fuss with. Still all great guns but in a defensive situation i want the glock anyday.

  • @smokeRocks509

An empty chamber is an empty gun. You would have to have an empty head to carry an empty gun.

  • Good review.

  • GLOCK DUH

  • @TigerG2

    nope

  • xD @ potcta

  • I'd pick that Glock over all of them anyday

  • Own them all

XD is a much better gun than the Glock and M&P

  • @MrJMBrowning The XD slide is WWWAAAAAAAYYY too tall!!

     You fail

  • IMO, M&P's grip is more versatile and comfortable than the other 2.

  • You really can't go wrong with any of these guns. It just comes down to personal preference. Feel them first to decide which is more comfortable. If you can't decide after that, pick the one that looks the coolest to you, and sounds to coolest when you say it. I think my previous sentence is what most people base their preferences on...

  • I certainly wouldn't put my thumb back there (: Nice pistols.

  • What would happen if you had a pistol with the slide locked back and you pulled the trigger?

  • @andyle504702 If it's during day, nothing...BUT, if you do that at night, it turns into a werewolf :P

  • @andyle504702 Depends. With my XD, literally nothing happens.

  • Shot with a 3rd Gen Glock 19 9mm. My small hands didn't allow for a good fit. I feel like the gun is controlling me, not vice e versa. Just tried the 4th gen and it seemed to feel better. Anyone have any advice on a pistol to start with when you have smaller hands? I heard the Smith and Wesson M&P has some models that have back straps on the grip much like 4th gen glocks. Any other models to consider for. Double action only is ok with me, however I wouldn't mind shooting some DA/SA too.

  • @superbri007 look into the ruger SR9 and SR9 C they have a slimmer profile and are gaining a good rep since thier last recall on thier first pistols that came out.......i have both and i have seen alot of them go out the door from my store and not come back....the only time i saw one come back was from a satisfied customer saying how much he loved it....but like i said they have a slimmer grip and sit low in the hand.. they still afford the abillity to carry 17+1 on par w/ glock and M&P

  • Great vid. I felt this was like 12 minutes at a firearms dealership. Informative and to the point

  • At the start of this video I didn't kno which one was the glock. I had to hold my fuckin computer & concentrate lol.

  • I've always wanted to know this if you scratch the serial number off does it become illegal?

  • @philly442

very much so, and you become a federal criminal

  • @GunWebsites thank you

  • @GunWebsites What if I scratched the gun off the serial number?

  • @philly442 I have also seen Breaking Bad Philly442

  • @philly442 Why would you do that?

  • @AKOverlord do what? I just wanted to know

  • @philly442 Why would you want to scratch the serial number off the gun?

  • @philly442 wow was that a serious question?

  • @philly442 you are someone that should own guns only idiots would ask that question. Thats like burning your fingers and robbing a bank.

  • @TigerG2 it was a question get over yourself

  • @philly442 where is your brain what do you think they put the numbers there for? to shave weight or something NO, so they can track the firearms and put it in the database.

  • Glock is the best and colt 45 1911

  • Im probably going to get a M&P .45 this month how does the finish hold up on them ... and between xdm glock 21 fnp usg or hk usp would you take the M&P? im really diggin it ... im probly gonna get the crimson trace factory version for cc fast target acquisition..

  • what's with the screaming noise?

  • mother i know wath i want in crismas

  • how old should u be to get a gun

  • @1pelletgun any age as long as you know the basic safety rules of firearms and you exercise them at all times.

  • my buy only Glock pistol

  • I own 1 of each now, I traded my M&P 40 for the Beretta PX4 Storm but I still own the M&P 9c, the XD 9 and the Glock 22 RTF. So far without firing the Beretta yet the G22 is more accurate than the rest.

  • OLIVE DRAB OVERLOAD. YESSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • Every gun is ALWAYS loaded! Dont trust Loaded chamber idicatiors or safties.

  • loaded chamber indicator and cocked indicator are required by law for all pistols in california, probably why they added them

  • @DaBurntToaster ridiculous

  • @HYBRIDCOMBATIVES thats california for yah

  • taurus 809 is the best

  • How interesting! I've owned, carried and shot the XD, G19 and M&P in competition extensively. XD ergos are great. Glock is tremendously reliable and the slide cycle time is very quick. The M&P ergos are almost as good as the XD and the trigger is way better than the others. The M&P has superseded both for me.

  • I've finally got each one ! I've got the M&P 40, the G22 RTF and the XD9.

  • I've heard the XD's have a slide-to-grip angle similar to the 1911's, too. Helpful, I guess if you own an 1911 and wonder what pistol to buy.

  • If it wasn't for firefighters we wouldt have our little zoey today

  • You must get a lot of action brah, if you have to rack it back with your boot

  • listen i love this video but is that ringing sound just me or what? it gets annoying but nice video i thumbs it up.

  • This video is so worthless....all you had to do was pick the green one!

  • Comment removed

  • Buy an XD of not liking glock.

  • Where can you get a gun this color?I'm new to guns and I really like the Glock and XD but on their website they don't have guns this color. Is it a custom paint job?Any help would be appreciated.

  • @tgnz24

glock quit making the green frames, call and complain / request they make them again, that could help.. Xds come in a bunch of colors, keep looking around for those

  • @GunWebsites OK cool.Thanks for the info.

  • @GunWebsites they should jus stop making glocks.... :P

  • @tgnz24

IF you get the Glock it is way easier to get a can of krylon in whatever solid color (od green, Flat Dark Earth etc) and paint the gun's frame yourself.... Xd would be a lil harder cuz more parts.... but if you do paint it yourself use exterior paint!!!! it will take a beating really well. Aslo i reccomend using like 3-4 coats of paint, i did on my Glock 17 Gen 3 RTF and it looks like factory painted and it took some of the sharpness out of the texturing on the RTF model. Glocks Rule!!

  • @tgnz24 Go to galleryofguns . com and you can find the different xd's at unbeatable prices.

  • @tgnz24 Almost forgot, you can also find the m&p's in different colors as well.

  • I'd love to own one of each.

  • I own an M&P 9c with the thumb safety and an M&P 40 with no thumb safety, it works well for me eitherway.

  • I've downed the XD for years because i owned an XDm 40 once and it was shit. i recently got an XD 9 and i'm in Love. The XDs are completely different from the XDms and well worth all the praise I've heard.

  • I vote for the XD & XDm! I love mine!

  • Hey, cool vid. I'm looking at purchasing a MP 45 compact w/out the thumb safety for concealed carry. Having a hard time finding a level 2 Blackhawk Serpa CQC holster specifically for it. Do you know of a Serpa holster for a glock, etc that would also fit the MP compact?

  • @flanmedic51

almost none of us shoot from a retention holster

never used or wanted to use a serpa

but I do know they are made for specific guns, so I doubt one will fit in another models

  • @flanmedic51 serpas are a bad choice. look to 5.11 thumbdrive or safariland.

  • @HYBRIDCOMBATIVES I love my Serpa for my M&P .45. Easy draw and ergonomically correct...which is what I desire in the circumstance of deadly force...when fine motor skills are gone. Although I'm curious why you say they are a bad choice? I'm open to anything. :)

  • Don't see too many people running out and getting lanyards for their pistols. I'm wondering. What kind of crap are you getting in your glock frame? I would think the plug keeps crap from getting in the frame?

  • Personal experiences: the XD mags do not like to be dropped in tactical situations too many times. The XD is top heavy, and lately Springfield is a marketing name, not a gun company. The XD slide feels like it wants to break off after a heavy days at the range. Glock is also a big name from movies and TV so like a Rolex, it once was hot stuff, but now it shows its age. After years of shooting all three, I keep the M&P.

  • AND it doesnt have those dorky uncomfortable Glock/Springfield triggers...

  • M&P for the WIN!!! I love mine.... The comfort is unmatched.. Changeable grips to fit all. I have a Crimson trace on mine the you cannot feel any difference AT ALL. straight outta the box hit a pie pan at 30 yds all day long with JUNK AMMO.

  • how does trying to repare your ps3 bring you to this?? anyways nice guns im into airsoft more

  • got an xd last week only tried to practice it for a while, damn nice gun

  • Owned all three and have only held on to one...M&P all the way

  • 3 very good pistols.

  • im lookin to open carry in the next few tears. what caliber would you reccomend for that?

  • All the pigment on the frames look identical.... holy shit!!

  • i keep reading the xd into XD the smiling face

  • Baby Eagle <3

  • Which do you feel is the toughest and most reliable. I love the OD green and was looking to get a G21 OD Green, but they're impossible to source here in Canada.

  • Nice video. Thank you. Was looking at the glock but I'll look more into an M and P.

  • In terms of quality the XD blows both of these out of the water. Glock has gone downhill and those in the industry and heavy end users know this.

M&P is taking a huge market share from glock last 5 years but the XD is the choice among heavy end users (full time swat, etc) at least from where I sit.

  • The xd and mp stole aall of their features from glock ( ramping barrel, clip, etc

  • buy'em all

  • dear sir. i'm just wondering if the Glock that is made in USA is just the same with Austria. Because here in my place, the only available is made in USA. Is it accurate? No hiccups? No regrets? THANKS. Hope you will respond. :D

  • how did you get the green glock frame

  • @DIRTYBIRDY24 order one at a gun store

  • xD

  • i need some advise! i want to start competition shooting and i don't know which round is the best for that (9mm,40sw or 45 acp)

  • @96silentdeath

I would recommend 9 or 45, 40 can be too 'snappy'

  • @GunWebsites thnx!! i am actualy looking for the most accurate round!

and can you please explain to me what snappy means with other words because i am from greece and i don't get it? sorry for that again!!

  • @96silentdeath ...your 9mm ammunition will cost you less. The 45 will kick more.

  • @96silentdeath depends on what you're comfortable with. I'd go with a 9mm for usually lowest recoil (depending on the pistol) and the accuracy.

  • Who else makes a 10mm, NON 1911, Double Action, Frame Other than Glock? Only reason I ask NON 1911 Is cause I keep hearing, N' Seeing cracked frames of those models.

  • I'd buy all 3 :D

  • @heathovc

    That's what I did !!

  • The big complaint with the Glock is the rear bump. These have to fit and that's the reason for all of the backstrap removals etc. There is an cottage industry based upon changing the Glock grip, Have heard rumors about the S&W reliability. The grip safety on the Springfield is to please the 1911 fans

  • xd still my favorite striker fired pistol. all still great guns

  • You guys should reveiw the FNP-45. Love that gun!

  • You mentioned that installing after market sights on your XD was a problem. Do you think it would be an issue to have a gun shop's armorer install Trijicon or similar night sights onto my SA XD-40 instead of doing it myself?

  • @norcal41576

tried to install.. never was able to get them swapped

If you have a good gunsmith, perhaps they can, but most of the shops around here won't do XD sights because they are such a bear

  • @GunWebsites

OK, thank you for the VERY FAST reply.

I'm thinking about selling XD anyways and getting an XDM in the same caliber. Perhaps that'll be a bit easier. Happy belated 4th

  • Of those three the Glock has the most comfortable grip. The glock also has a sturdier trigger guard with a protruding edge. This can be used effectively as a physical contact striking weapon. The rounded design of the others reduce the ability to use it as a striking weapon. Also, the Glock 21 Gen 3 and Gen 4 feature the ambidextrous mag release.

  • xd has two loaded indicators......wow that's lame, training wheels anyone?

  • can we just all of them are awsome :P

  • i own both the m&p 40 and glock 22. i love both of them. however, i prefer the glock over the m&p. the glcok, for me, seems to shoot better. i love the way it feels. the m&p has an easy trigger pull. i carry my glock 9xs out of 10. in fact im thinking about getting rid of my m&p only due to the fact i never shoot it. the fact that the glock is one of the most widely used firearm in law enforcement is good enough for me.

  • Why so fast talking and fast mag reload? slow its better to talk of Pistol

  • Springfield XD because.... i don't know its just cool

  • I don't have much experience with the XD but I do with the M&P and the Glock. The M&P ergonomics blow the Glock out of the water for me. Reliability, accuracy, trigger, and durability are about the same which is good. Mechanically they seem equal but with the vastly superior ergos of the M&P it just makes shooting it well much easier.

I also prefer the look of the M&P but thats purely personal preference.

I'd go M&P but the Glock would serve you well also.

  • Is everyone a fecking glock salesman or something?

  • glock all day! hood tested police approved you dont have to baby it, also glock not only made the gun tough but the mag too when I droped an xd mag at the range I did not realize that I bent the the lip so when I went to shoot the xd it barley cycled --now glock mags have that coating that I have come to appreciate after my trouble with my xd mag, yes it was my fault but it seems glock put more thought into making a pistol fit for a bumby road called life.

  • Cops have used Glocks for decades, if I wanted a gun I'd obviously trust the one the cops use standard issue know what I mean?

  • heckler and koch USP all the way.

  • As far as the magazines go, I didn't really care much for the polymer coating, because dropping an empty mag was much more difficult for me with the Glock. And also if you get the standard black colored XD, the magazines do match the gun! Great videos, man, I enjoy watching them.

  • Have you noticed a difference in the sight picture needed between the diff guns? I have heard Glock uses a dead center hold and xd uses a 6 oclock hold. I have a glock and I just cant get used to the grip. I used to carry the XD on the job and I am thinking about going back to it for my personal weapon.

  • so which one should i buy??? which one is better??? im leaning towards the smith and wesson

  • @jenavecia427 Do yourself a favor and buy the Glock!! It's quality is unmatched!!!! You will be able to pass it down to your great grandchildren and it will function like it was brand new!!

  • Go with FN!

  • The strike indicator has nothing to do with feeling it. Its meant as a visual indicator.

  • @toolman1108

    learn more

  • @GunWebsites I have learned about it. I have one. Also my bolt action .30/06 has an indicator on the bolt. Does the same thing as the XD does.

  • @toolman1108 in a low light sitiution that indicator is a bit obsolete isnt it?

P.S: 4 of my rifles have an indicator, and I don't use it at all its a waste of money as far as i'm concerned

  • @TheC0nfederate9

In a low light situation, you could still feel around for it

  • I like the od finish, did you buy them like that or have it done?

  • Brilliant video finally, someone who know their sh** LOL! thank you. x

  • Oops dam spell check I meen xd

  • The cd and smith were good but I don't like the g's sorry too much plastic ..feels like a toy and sounds like one. I like my guns to have some substance to them.I really. Don't know how much you shoot that one.I have an xd sub compact 9mm and the xd's just feel sturder.I guess that its user preference

  • Great video, but it sort of put me to sleep. And there is a high pitch inteference in your mic.

  • He forgot the Walther P99 series, also polymer frame but only in 9mm para or .40!

  • i like xdms

  • Buy an HK USP!

  • Your probably gonna say glock (understandable) anyway but ill still wanna ask cause I'm curious. Which one would you keep if you can only have one, including present generations.

  • I still can't choose between the glock 22 and xdm 40

  • The less is on there, the less there can break. I'll take the glock.

  • Good review. Very helpfull and informative. I enjoy all your videos, thanks for the upload.

  • Its kinda funny cuz i have those same exact handguns. Love them all, but i have to go with the XD as my favorite.

  • Glock 9, 40 or 45. Or 1911 45. Which one should I get.????? Help

  • @M6teenbam323 get a glock 23 its in 40cal and its the compsct version if the glock 22. glocks almost never jam. glocks are the best and the range about $500us each.

  • @M6teenbam323 Go with the glock 9mm 26baby/19/compact/17full size..you can use 17 and 33rd factory mags that are really reliable. Just my 2-cents you cant go wrong with a glock.

  • @hutningnola : Careful..the Gen4 has had some reported issues.

  • @pcollenYT All of mine are 3rd gen.I also own a 1st gen glock 17 Never had any issuses. Thanks.

  • I really like all three. I have been debating on 1911 45 or a glock 9. Or should I just get a glock 40 or 45

  • you keep the mags in your gun when yournot firing them?

  • @twilst

    nope

  • @GunWebsites well you did in the video...

  • @twilst: yup

  • Handguns? Get a real weapon, like a shotgun!

  • get a usp :)

  • @Metal4TheHungry Thats true. Pull slide to release. I was think the same thing.

  • I have a set of te trigicon tfo on my xd and had no problem changing them maybe this guy need to go see a gun smith

  • glock 21
