I've been to the Highlands and knew about the view from Elgol but I never knew of this view until I saw it on that programme either. It's funny because Wastwater is my personal favourite view in England and for this to turn up on the same episode was a surprise. I though nothing can beat Wastwater - maybe not. I have to go here. Britain - as beautiful as any where on this planet.
I take it you saw it on Britain's Favourite Views? If so, that was my Dad skippering the boat that took the crew over (I was in the background lugging around all the gear:-)
Yes, saw it on Britains Favourite View and it certainly got my vote! Its absolutely stunning. I`m assuming its a freshwater loch so should have brown trout in it.
Yes I watched this on Britains favourite view. This is one of my favourite boat trips and your Dads boat is cheaper than the other one (cant mention the name). Do you hand the drink out on the return voyage? If so we have met
Great to see Loch Coruisk! My Dad runs a boat trip to Coruisk, Misty Isle Boat Trips (you can find out more at LochCoruisk . com) and it is an awesome place! I go as often as I can and would happily go every day! Whatever the weather is like, it is still a stunning view.
Excellent - I hope you enjoyed it. I sometimes get to crew with him when Jamie (the ussual crew) has a day off! We are hoping in a month or 2 to put a few videos on YouTube.
Hi there, i would really like to fish loch Coruisk. Can anyone tell me if its ever fished, whats in it and if you need permission? Can you set up camp there?
Hi there. People do certainly fish there and seem to catch a bit. There are also places to camp nearby - some either go beside the Loch Coruisk memorial hut or on a wee flat bit on the other side of the river. You can find out more about Loch Coruisk on my blog (I'm not sure if YouTube allows me to put web addresses in so it is at lochcoruisk dot com. Enjoy your fishing if you make it up this way!
Hi there and thanks a lot for that info. I go to Skye quite a lot but never knew about Coruisk until last week. It looks amazing and on the agenda for early next year. I`ll check out your blog right now :-)
Beautiful
