I've listened to this and the original, and coupled with the fact that I think Fleetwood Mac (while good) is a little overrated, think they are both fine. This is a decent interpretation. There is nothing sanctified about any musical ground, so let's please stop acting like the original was a holy land that Silverstein spat on. If they care about the band enough to make a cover, they must have a lot of respect for the band. There's nothing to hate about a younger band appreciating a classic one.

When Biffy Clyro did a Fleetwood Mac cover it was weird enough, but what the actual fuck lol Interesting I guess, but I think I preffer Lindsey for this song, the screams and all just don't work. However I do love the first 14 tracks on Silversteins new album, but the covers are shitty, IMO.

I've listened to this and the original, and coupled with the fact that I think Fleetwood Mac (while good) is a little overrated, think they are both fine. This is a decent interpretation. There is nothing sanctified about any musical ground, so let's please stop acting like the original was a holy land that Silverstein spat on. If they care about the band enough to make a cover, they must have a lot of respect for the band. There's nothing to hate about a younger band appreciating a classic one.
