  • No, this stuff works, also because you tell yourself affirmative sentences while tapping, which does more for you than one might think. I always believed XMRV was similar to EBV, it is mainly there, because the immune system doesn't work properly, I never thought it was the cause. I got better with the Gupta programme (doing 90% the stop-technique, only 20-30 minutes per day the other techniques) and it's the only thing that every worked for me (got appr. 1000% better). Thanks for uploading!

  • Why the thumbs down? Check out my channel if you want to know how to do EFT

  • uh, I just repeated a sentence at the end of the video :)

  • its funny .. i believe in miracles and in 'psychosomatic' methods of healing, spiritual healing etc .. i really do .. so if a virus or an entrenched disease can be cured quickly i am delighted .. its odd, half the time i am arguing ME is real and awful illness, the other half of the time i am saying to myself 'it can be cured in moments' with the right technique.. I actually think both may be true. The miracles dont invalidate the reality of the disease.

  • Interesting commonality with all the negative comments. Not one of you said you had tried EFT with ernest—or at all, yet you are all experts on how it does not work negating this women's and now millions of others who have benefited from EFT, myself included. You probably don't believe in acupuncture either. How about the color yellow? Does yellow fit your narrow belief system?

  • @brooklynmic Well said!! Youtube always seems to bring out the "real experts" ;-)

  • You won't read accurate responsible reporting in the British media about the implications of the retrovirus family XMRV/MLVs in Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS or 'Chronic Fatigue Syndrome').

The UK media has for 20 years gone along with poweful British psychiatrists in misrepresenting ME/CFS - wrongly portraying it as a "mystery" or as psychosmatic. Fatigue/burnout, etc. is not ME/CFS.

ME/CFS is Neuro-immune. The retrovirus family XMRV/MLV is now very strongly implicated in ME/CFS.

  • You may not be aware that from the 1st November 2010 the UK will issue a lifetime ban on blood donations from people diagnosed with ME/CFS. Canada, New Zealand and Australia have already issued similar bans.

ME is overdiagnosed in the UK due to lax diagnostic criteria and the common confusion of ME with conditions that include fatigue, including burnout, overtraining syndrome, depression.

ME/CFS is Neuro-immune. The retrovirus family XMRV/MLV is now very strongly implicated in ME/CFS.

  • @lovehopeandfaith - so sorry you have fallen for the popular myth that physical illnesses start with emotional shocks. It must be very reassuring to believe that other peoples diseases pain and deaths are all "emotional" in cause - But its just not true.

  • I'm so tired of every left brained, tight assed, belief in the system whack job parroting "peer review", "peer review", "it's only real if the powers that be say it is", "peer review!!!!!".

I worked with some of the biggest douches in archaeology and related sciences, they published bullshit left and right and other good scientists who actually knew what they were doing and what they were taking about were ALWAYS kept out of the loop, the lack of peer review means shit.

  • Both the video and the comments make the common error of using an acronym without first explaining it. In this case, it is the erroneous assumption that anyone viewing this video or reading the text will know the meaning of the acronym "ME" .

  • I am a strong believer in EFT and have been using it on various things for about three years now. It often works for physical conditions as well as emotional ones, although it was developed originally for emotional blockages. For the skeptics here, I'd suggest you give it a serious try before knocking it. Incidentally, if paying a therapist is the issue, you can learn EFT for free using various YouTube videos or if you can spend a few dollars, by buying books by Gary Craig

  • @nightcats the DVD collection is obtainable online(from torrent sites) for free.

  • EFT removes emotional blockages in the body (in our energy systems). These blockages cause most of our physical problems. So EFT is NOT "curing" the disease. Einstein's theory of E=mc2 is simply EVERYTHING IS ENERGY. A good book to read to understand this is "The Healing Code". I personally would rather try Energy Tapping first before drugs.

  • i suppose it's possible to placebo yourself.

the biology of belief.... not a great book, and does not support this stuff.

it'd be great if we could harness this 'belief effect', but we aren't there yet...and in the meantime, EFT is no different than any other snake oil. Spontaneous remissions and cures will always happen.

the outcome data ought to be very easy to gather.

are there studies of the kind to be found in any peer reviewed medical journals?

  • Don't knock it unless you've tried it! You might just find the healing you've been searching for...

  • This really works.................

  • I tried it on grief that I carry (related to loss) and it worked well. I tried it on my M.E. symptoms, nothing. Not one single thing. I experienced absolutely no relief at all.

  • @FreeBritain1

As you have said it EFT worked for you for grief. So you got a positive response. The problem with individuals doing EFT on themselves sometimes is that it can be a bit of a hit or miss because you can be tapping on what you think is the problem but "can't see the wood for the trees".There are times and situations where you are too close to the problem and it is best to see an experienced therapist.

  • Thanks for this sweetheart. I'm still doing it, if I am feeling a negative emotion. All I am saying, as is said by others, M.E. is such a very chronic 'physical' illness and sufferers 1) have to be positive in their thinking and 2) very brave. M.E. is now believed to be a retro virus that attacks every single body system. I'm not a novice my love, in several areas.

God bless you and thanks for wishing to help others.

I will keep it up in any event ;-).

    Peace and love in Christ

    Anne

  • This works for emotional problems, i.e. exactly what it says, it unblocks negative energy and releases negative emotions, but it does not work for M.E.

M.E. is a VERY serious, physical illness.

I wish it did work for M.E. but I'm afraid it does not.

    Many thanks and God bless

    Anne

  • @FreeBritain1 i guess everyone is different. but if it did clear up your emotional issues, perhaps that is a good start.

  • @lovehopefaith1000 I have some? I'd be far better 'helped' if the British gvmnt and media ceased to escalate hatred towards the sick and disabled, leading through the new 'Right to Control' legislation to genocide.

  • Two interesting books to read are Joyful Recovery From ME/Chronic Fatigue by Sasha Allenby, which gives a first-hand account of recovery from ME, and also The Biology of Belief by Dr Bruce Lipton, a cell biologist, which talks about epigenetics and the new scientific discoveries on how our bodies respond to signals from the environment and aren't governed solely by our genes.

    Whittemore-Peterson Institute:

The discovery of XMRV Retrovirus has far reaching implications for prevention and treatment of not only lymphoma, one of the potentially devastating complications of ME/CFS but prostate cancer and perhaps many others.

Retroviruses are known to cause inflammatory diseases, neuro disease immune deficiency and cancer. The spectrum of neuro-immune diseases including: ME/CFS, Atypical MS, Fibromyalgia, Gulf War Syndrome share common abnormalities

  • The UK CFS diagnosis use VERY limited exclusion tests, no full cardiac tests or scans, the patients could have anything. The UK CFS clinic referral criteria have one single symptom of fatigue. Fatigue is a symptom of many diseases, states and conditions. Fatigue alone does not define ME/CFS.

Myalgic Encephalomyelitis is defined as complex neuro-immune-endocrine. Encephalomyelitis means brain inflammation.

By all means do EFT but dont claim it can cure diffuse brain injury.

  • Burnout is not ME/CFS

    Google Whittemore-Peterson Institute

'We have detected the retroviral infection XMRV is greater than 95% of the more than 200 ME/CFS, Fibromylagia, Atypical MS patients tested. The current working hypothesis is that XMRV infection of B, T, NK and other cells of the innate immune response causes the chronic inflammation and immune deficiency resulting in an inability to mount an effective immune response to opportunistic infections. (See XMRV paper in Science.)'

  • This IS free try the emofree site

You can download the manual for free. All the basics are in the manual. In fact some of the more advanced techniques are described clearly too so if there are any what they call energy blockages present, they teach you how to resolve those too. ALL FOR FREE and NO Im not an EFT therapist or connected to them in any way. I just used it and it helped

I was SOOO skeptical but it was free, so I figured it couldnt do any harm to try

  • I'm using EFT to recover from CFS/M.E. too. It's working great for me. So far i have dramatically reduced anxiety and depression. I have also got some relief from Hayfever and body pain.

    Thanks for sharing,

  • great if it works, but why is it 50 poun a hour to get eft! 600 hundred pound for lightning process. why is it not being spread freely for those who are desperate?

  • i cant afford it? full stop

  • ME is classifed as a neurological disease by the world health organisation

    since 1969.

Patients cannot even give blood to the National Blood Bank.

I'd call you a total fuckwit but that would be a compliment.

  • Your heart Chakras are twisted. Remember, "Be open like a sponge."

You were not called a total fuckwit as, "That would be a compliment."

Try EFT, or recite a mantra. Always try to remember that instant Karma is going to get everybody at some time. It is our destiny to suffer from the skeptics. We have to vibrate in harmony with them, to assuage their destructive resonance. In that way all may be infused with the egonic energy of Gaia, and inhale The Spirit of this Crystal called Earth.

  • Now that wasn't very nice! Calm Down! Remember, "Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, ....."

  • I am delighted to see that shame finally got the better of that very nasty young lady Gruaigrua23, and she has removed five of her contemptible remarks. It's a pity she didn't remove the first where she pokes fun a seriously ill people.

  • You skeptics, EFT works! I healed my CFS/M.E. with it too. You won't realize it works until you've tried. Seriously. If you really need help, give it a try. There are a lot of good videos on Youtube, by great teachers like David Childerley and others. I can't see how criticizing methods you haven't tried helps to solve your or anyone else's problems.

  • Putting all the therapy aside, I personally thought this was good news coverage.Tightly edited, well - researched and a clear summary of the subject presented. I'm just glad that Suzy, while walking in a perfectly straight line, just narrowly avoided the crouching cameraman on the riverbank. Plus I've never seen Stourport look so nice. No wonder she's admiring the scenery at the end :)

  • This scientifically proven (& not at all silly!) miracle cure for the incurable neurological illness myalgic encephalomyelitis works so much better if you stand upside down in a bucket of vanilla custard whilst doing it, preferably with strawberry jelly in each ear & a cow pat taped to your head.

  • There is no way that lady had ME / CFS. The whole news segment is IMO pure rubbish. Stories like this dont help a disorder plagued by doubt, disbelief and outright seketisim.

  • @Desdinova7777 all physical illnesses start off with traumatic emotional incidents. so eft will solve this, and then the illness goes.

  • @Desdinova7777 In our industry we call this a "mind read" - ask yourself what do you really know? Have you contacted the person? Have you performed an indepth analysis of EFT and this case? No? Really! I can personally attest to the power of EFT and other cutting-edge techniques such as NLP, Time Line Therapy and hypnosis to "tap into" the root cause of physical illness, release it and then observe how the body regains its own natural equilibrium that results in health and happiness. :-)

  • Anyone 'recovering' by these means never had the serious neurological illness M.E. in the first place.

  • i am unsure too.

  • iam confused as to how tappin can cure a real pysical illness :(

  • @monkstripe physical illnesses start off with emotional shocks. tapping addresses this.

  • @monkstripe tapping is likened to acupuncture without the needles. It uses the energy meridian points on the body to release unresolved trauma.

  • @monkstripe I can just give my experience - after five years of hell, bedbound with severe ME, I got into these kinds of alternative healing, it was not EFT but something close, energy manipulation, after having brief experiences through acupuncture, and it worked! I don't think it actually "cured" me (everything comes back with some extra effort and I have to do it again) but it made the body aware of its self-healing capabilities (we all have them) and it allows the body to recover faster.

  • @monkstripe theres another girl on youtube who said this worked for her too, I think it's worth a try.

  • doesn't really sound like she had ME in the first place.
