  • @velveetaslingshot lets make a pact to knock the shit out of the product and call it shit ...tell everyone ..." i purchased this car - and the wheels fell off after one week "

  • Definitely "Because" from the Beatles Abbey Road!

  • @popnutty they wear their infuences on their sleeve, no doubt..but damn well. Babys comin back is on a carousel from the hollies..but these guys are friggin good!

  • I'll add the part from 2:23- where everything stops.. like flying off the edge of a cliff. Play parts on repeat.. FARKING AWESOME!!!!

  • the melody in this song is a total ripoff of "the hungry years" by neil sedaka. note for note!!!

  • @AmeliaLaBibarr Yep, the first part of the verse comes pretty close, but the phrasing does differ as it continues. Unlikely that was deliberate, though. I think it's hard for musicians not to unwittingly assimilate some of their influences. The songs are like chalk and cheese, overall.

  • @AmeliaLaBibarr wow, I can't believe anybody that high can type. You are to be applauded.

  • God, I miss this band.

  • @BassByTheBay same here just got a new copy of their cd last week for a bargain of £1.50!last copy was scratched to bits

  • such an awesome song; after all these years it still sounds amazing !!

  • I've been listening to Jellyfish since I was about 7 or so, still love them. Love the crazy jester dancing in this video at 1:38 :)

  • Why yes, this would have been another very nice way for 90s music to sound.

  • I always loved the compressed tele sound on this outlining the progression. What a great band. I missed jellyfish when they were together. Not untill a few years ago - maybe -06. Ive got both albums and the music has been with me thru some very difficult times

  • You know what's really strange for me and it certainly relates to my obsessiveness for this band, is that when I started liking them I vaguely remember a picture of them in Rolling Stone magazine and their image stuck with me. I had a feeling that they were from Frisco because I wanted to believe it since I grew up there and wanted it to be true. It freaked me out when I found out that in fact they were and I became even more proud to be a Jelly-head!

  • OOOOOOOH! they re from san fran! that explains soooo much!!!!!!!

  • Man, these guys were so good. I have both albums & have seen them in concert twice. Both times they were phenomenal. Good memories.

  • This group should have been HUGE! Great, catchy, hook laden songs. Besides being a superior drummer, Andy is a gifted singer as well. I haven't even mentioned Jason Faulkner yet. Like I said, this group should have been HUGE!

  • Brilliant band.........great tune. Another 'Bellybutton' classic.

  • Man do I miss this group from San Francisco!

  • After Freddie M. died, this was as close to the real thing I could listen to as far as talented rock with all the extras. What a great band. Sturmer is terrific!

  • This album came out in 1990, right? That was year before I was born. It's sad that they didn't last long.

    Anybody has their mp3s?

  • Dear lord, that was the year I graduated college;)

  • You can get them online using Utorrent & Isohunt in tandem.

  • really cool video i was too young to see it before

  • Ahh the memories of having some herb and blotter and listening to these guys!!

  • Remember "Russian Hill"?!

  • I don't there's one person who would disagree with you!

  • Crap! The pricks at the music company is blocking this video so now we can't embed it and continue spreading the goodness of this band. When yo post the link on Facebook it will not work because it's blocked. And nobody clicks links on Myspace for fear of viruses. JERKS! Let us embed this video.

  • Great song...always makes me think of Bill and Monica...

Where are these guys anyway? Great harmonies, good tunes...

  • When all that grunge stuff was really popular, this band was my favorite. Too bad not many others took notice of these guys, we might have gotten more than 2 records.

  • Well, I was a huge Nirvana fan - still am, but I loved this song, still do.

  • amazing song.

  • hey emi, the sound quality on this is kind of low. you might want to fix that. yeah
