@velveetaslingshot lets make a pact to knock the shit out of the product and call it shit ...tell everyone ..." i purchased this car - and the wheels fell off after one week "
@popnutty they wear their infuences on their sleeve, no doubt..but damn well. Babys comin back is on a carousel from the hollies..but these guys are friggin good!
@AmeliaLaBibarr Yep, the first part of the verse comes pretty close, but the phrasing does differ as it continues. Unlikely that was deliberate, though. I think it's hard for musicians not to unwittingly assimilate some of their influences. The songs are like chalk and cheese, overall.
I always loved the compressed tele sound on this outlining the progression. What a great band. I missed jellyfish when they were together. Not untill a few years ago - maybe -06. Ive got both albums and the music has been with me thru some very difficult times
You know what's really strange for me and it certainly relates to my obsessiveness for this band, is that when I started liking them I vaguely remember a picture of them in Rolling Stone magazine and their image stuck with me. I had a feeling that they were from Frisco because I wanted to believe it since I grew up there and wanted it to be true. It freaked me out when I found out that in fact they were and I became even more proud to be a Jelly-head!
This group should have been HUGE! Great, catchy, hook laden songs. Besides being a superior drummer, Andy is a gifted singer as well. I haven't even mentioned Jason Faulkner yet. Like I said, this group should have been HUGE!
After Freddie M. died, this was as close to the real thing I could listen to as far as talented rock with all the extras. What a great band. Sturmer is terrific!

When all that grunge stuff was really popular, this band was my favorite. Too bad not many others took notice of these guys, we might have gotten more than 2 records.
I am in love with this band!

I'll add the part from 2:23- where everything stops.. like flying off the edge of a cliff. Play parts on repeat.. FARKING AWESOME!!!!

the melody in this song is a total ripoff of "the hungry years" by neil sedaka. note for note!!!

Why yes, this would have been another very nice way for 90s music to sound.

This album came out in 1990, right? That was year before I was born. It's sad that they didn't last long.
Anybody has their mp3s?
