Hey, did you guys got it working already? I had the same problem! What I did: I went to settings>messages; then turned "show subject field" on.. go back to the failed sms; add a subject and try to send it again... dont ask me why, but worked to me!!
I'm pretty sure you have to sign up for SMS.
