There are plenty of people like us out there..its just that many are too afraid to admit they do this to their hair. The others would rather just walk around with frizz than actually take care of it.
@CaptAviator Most of those relaxers and things have the same products in them as what you find in a salon they are just marketed to different people. It's pretty smart of you to buy your own instead of paying extra for something that is basically the same thing just packaged differently.

Do you shampoo and condition your hair everyday with this relaxer in it? This video was cute. i like the iron of letting us know no matter who we think the product is for, it is up to you on whether you use it or nt. The was hooo larry us! and I am an A/A.
if you are really doing this please base you scalp, apply with gloves/brush applicator, keep it on for short time, and use neutralizing shampoo don't be on here telling white people to do this these are chemicals and they are dangerous
just be sure not to scratch your scalp within the week that you plan on using the perm. usually helps with the burning. some people may apply vaseline to their scalp/edges as well.
Note: Try not to use relaxers often as it will damage your hair. Not sure if this video was just for laughs but as someone said you need to prep your scalp so that it doesn't burn. And if your hair is already straight it's really pointless.
You are hilarious. I suggest that you don't do anything to irritate your scalp, i.e. combing it, etc., before applying it. Also don't wash your hair at least a day before applying it. That should help with the burning. lol

That is so strange to hear what you are reading on the side of that box. I wouldn't have used it, had I read all of that craziness. Actually, after seeing the movie about black hair by Chris Rock, there is no way in hell, I would use that stuff, it's dangerous. You are better off buying Dickinsons or stein emulsion to straighten it.

The manufacturers of that product are rather hateful towards Europeans. The product works great on coarse European curly hair and White People's scalps do not burn any easier than black scalps. Basically what they are saying is "We dohn wahn no whye honkey buyin dis prohdut cuz we hates dem."

Just to follow up on the video I forgot to tell you It will burn if you have scratched or manipulated your hair prior to doing the perm, Or you can put a light coating of vaseline on your scalp first

I only got to watch a few minutes of this due to some tech problems, however As a Black Lady I commend you Suan for wandering down that Isle usually title Ethinic so therefore most white people think its something strange down there. Just today I helped a white lady onthat isle with some items i used to keep my hair from frizzing up. Alot of the time we have similar issues which is why I also use products usually thought of as white hair products.

This was too funny...I was literally thinking does the box say all that? I wouldn't know I never read the fine print. Perms were meant for people of color but I have heard of white people using it, no big deal. The thing with perms is that it was made for a certain hair type and since people with fine hair run a higher risk of damage it is not recommended. Heck it shouldn't be recommended for anybody..stopped using that mess over a year ago and went natural.But that's me.

if you are really doing this please base you scalp, apply with gloves/brush applicator, keep it on for short time, and use neutralizing shampoo don't be on here telling white people to do this these are chemicals and they are dangerous

just be sure not to scratch your scalp within the week that you plan on using the perm. usually helps with the burning. some people may apply vaseline to their scalp/edges as well.

Note: Try not to use relaxers often as it will damage your hair. Not sure if this video was just for laughs but as someone said you need to prep your scalp so that it doesn't burn. And if your hair is already straight it's really pointless.

You are hilarious. I suggest that you don't do anything to irritate your scalp, i.e. combing it, etc., before applying it. Also don't wash your hair at least a day before applying it. That should help with the burning. lol
