@MysterEy1 Go ahead and say it. I curse myself for letting me get so tied up in poliTRICKS. Now it's the ONE Party or bust. ONE = One Nation Eggnonymous (hehe).
We're working people and have been with Obama, since his Key Note Speech at the Democratic Convention in 2004. He was the reason I first voted (ashamed) and his campaign, was my first contribution to a campaign. I do not believe anyone can be 100 percent sure about a candidate...nor should we be, but I know one thing....If you don't make over $250,000 a year and you don't vote for Obama, we're all in ALL on our own.
Thanks for your comments. I started with Kucinich as my pick, but I tend to agree with you. I wonder why Republicans are trying to paint Obama as one of their own, and that is so they can put distance between him and Democrats.
I wasn't aware, that Republicans are trying to paint Obama as one of their own...really?---you learn something every day. As we approach this election, I'm crossing my fingers...Yah, I liked Kucinich too. Since we're a Union family, Obama appears to be our best bet. You take care
Maybe I worded that incorrectly. Republicans are acting now like they've been the outsiders the last eight years, when it is they who screwed everything up for the rest of us. It's big payback time for the party of the feasting pigs eating at the expense of blood money they spilled in their illbegotten wars pitting little man against little man, laughing, singing, porking their pockets full on the way to the bank.
I understand you. This administration has kept the whole nation, with their heads-down and tails-up working, so most people don't have the time to get familiar with what is happening to our nation. Along with staying as informed as I can, I have a Motto---"The way we win, is to be happy anyway. Peace brother
Yes, keep the masses tired and they can't lift a finger of resistance. That's why I advocate workers owning their own production. Workers could form corporations and compete against their ol' tyrant bosses. I did exactly this. I quit my job and in three weeks I was competing against my old employer.
I will not vote for Obama because, I'm not a Marxist. If you ever go to, Memphis Tenn. you will get to see first hand how a government ran society functions in the real world, cause outside the elitist think tanks it's a Mad House and the public schools are not schools at all....I've had my brush with socialism and I'll not vote for obama
I believe he will be fair. He may not be the best Democrat, but he is much better than McCain who will destroy us. If you get a chance check out my video - "McCain HATES Veterans"
I agree, Our country were never occupiers in the past. That's not our way. Obama inspires me the same way Kennedy did as a kid. Obama has to be elected or this country will continue to fail.
Yep the other thing is, their keeping her away from the press. That pisses me off. We need to know where she stands on important issues. Not just that she's a mother of 5
Palin? Dweeb... I think Obama has to act like he's way behind in this race, but he should continue to stay on the high road, attack his political opponents only when necessary (to defend his record). McCain seems to be making a real ass out of himself and his pick for VP concerns he really doesn't give squat about his country to leave it to a dweeb after he dies in office. I'm still majorly concerned about corporate influence on the two major parties. Will money rule us four more years?
This election cycle is simply a small bridge to the larger context of the next paradigm, breaking down and exposing the society of fear and its deviation toward violent change, to enable its replacement by a greater society based on peaceful*change.
The problem is, Tommy, that we never get the candidate we want because of mainstreamers who decide ultimately who is going to be the top two candidates. I have voted for third party candidates in the past, but I feel that this time it's go for the lesser evil, but I really don't think Obama is evil at all, just the corporate influence on the Democratic Party is rotten (but more rotten with the GOP).
My opinion is that choosing a lessor of two evils, is a sellout- since there is no difference between the two. Both parties are pro-war. Obama plans to increase troops in Afghan, feels Georgia should be rewarded for attacking S.O. Obama has repeatedly stated that Iran should never have nuclear weapons, that he will never take military action off the table, if Iran keeps up with the nuclear energy program that the US helped them start in the first place.
Obama and McCain are the same- republicans and democrats are the same- the dems have consistently voted to fund all wars, they also voted for war with afghan and Iraq. There is no difference. It's not about voting for the lessor of two evils, it's about sticking to your own principles. But even then- sending one person into a sea of sharks will not work.
I thnk there is clearly a choice here, but if Democrats fail to fix the problems, then I suppose most people will wake up. I think you forgot that it's the GOP that refuses to change here, the Dems did repent over Iraq. I guess I'll always be a Kucinich fan because he ROCKS!
If anyone truly wants change, we have to bring the power back to us, the we the people. and the only way we can do that legally, in nonviolence is to empower the we the people to make laws to keep these asshole in check, is with a national initiative- vote. org
I'm a bit of an anarchist too but also a realist. I don't think giving the election to the GOP is going to help us get over the pains they inflicted on us the last eight years. So, really, this is a revenge election. Pay back time. Was that an initiative of Gravel? I think I saw it.
Hard to have payback by having the very same people in office that have always been there, there is no difference between the two parties, there isn't. And that must end. As long as we have people saying oh TV tells me to go with the lessor of the two evils, TV tells me who the president will be, so I'll vote on my deibold- this is nonsense. Lets get out of Iraq and put more troops in afghan, with sights on Iran and Pakistan, come on man, it's BS. Beside we're never leaving Iraq, ever.
We have a military base the size of Vatican city in Iraq- they call it an Embassy, lol Will obama remove all masses from the ME? no. We are not wanted there. Occupation is the motivation for Terrorism. We have to leave the ME, and do it now. Further more we must presser Israel to abide to the UN ie retreat to their border- the 1967 border, that is the international law. No politician can do anything, none of them.
Yes, the Ni4D was written by Gravel, it's a sound policy- a way to have a third party in congress, and the third party is us, the we the people/ Media reform would e top priority :P
There is very little truth coming from the mainstream media because of deregulation and the fact the FCC gave our public airwaves to the mobsters. We will take them back and we will take our country back.
will i think corporation are already concern with barack...the way you could tell is how fox is reporting on this election...Palin has been their dream girl...Corporation and Rupert Murdoch are gaining together to try to kill obamas presidency but so far it hasn't worked because there is so many people that back obama.
It seems the Republicans could spend a thousand times more on their campaigns than Democrats and still lose because the people are aware this time. Aware of the pain the GOP caused most of US. My least favorite journalist/publisher is Murdoch - why do we have Aussies interferring in our election process anyway? Damned carpetbaggers!
people don't know Murdoch is Australian and his interfering in U.S politics, and these guys at fox are hired from low class places to report the news.
Five thunderbolts for your comment! I think Murdoch is the worst jerk ever to have entered mass media circles. Wall Street is collapsing because of the likes of him, but that's good, the Revolution can grow faster in the festering storm.
you darn obama-er! curses!
