  • Was this a ride on the coast? I want to take a trip to visit Mom in Loreto Baja Mex from Portland OR. Figure a few months. Great job with the pannier! I have to wonder though, the clips and pieces... where did you find them, and would it cost about the same to buy a used set of bags? Probably hard to find decent ones used that are that water proof, though. Cheers!

  • @SimpleLivingSanity IF you look behind corporate stores, they throw away ALL KINDS of good usable materials. Sign shops throw away extrsa vinyl (waterproof material). Outdoor stores throw away things like backpacks and such (lots of buckles zippers, staps galore.) Just look araound... tkae some friends and have fun with it! If it's not a joy, then no it's not worth the time.

peace and grace to you in Yeshua!!!

  • @dansingnancies .....

    PLUMS!!!!!

  • If you are a hobo how did get a videocamara

  • @ronaldo77782 thanks for the comment. I never mentioned anything about being a hobo. Though i like hobo's very much. and i like technology. but i dont like technology to rule my life. thanks and blessings.

  • demais cara isso é o sonho de liberdade

  • @doubleOprepper Go for it!!!! I believe you will discover more than the simpler life will show externally!!

  • @clintsnyder yeah were trying to go dow the pacific coast from Wa and possibly heading east through the south. But the experience of living a little more "simple," traveling and hoping to find something more in ourselves are all things were trying to get out of the trip.

  • yay for fellow travelers. do you ever hitch? I'd get so tired biking everywhere

  • @DieBlutgrafin hitching is another great way to meet people... and help share the gas costs too!

  • @clintsnyder I hitched from Indianapolis to southern Colorado with a friend once. That was a trip to remember. Met a lot of very interesting people.

  • Are you carrying a violin on your back?

  • @okarlos13 It's an ukulele. A great light-weight travel instrument!

  • @clintsnyder nice! I didn't even think of carrying a ukulele. a friend and I are planning a tour next summer and I was planning on bringing my violin but was worried about it getting ruined on the way thats why I was wondering if you had one.

  • @okarlos13 Yeah I think Ukuleles are a little more resilient to that kind of travel...

For the case I found at a returned climbing harness behind a known outdoor store and turned the padded leg straps (which has nice padding) Into the shoulder strap on the case. Then sewed an outer layer of vinyl sign material to help keep the rain out. It stayed relatively dry, but not in the heavy rain.

    Have a joyous time!!

With the wind to your back down the coast, you'll be sailing!

  • @clintsnyder nice I'll have to try that out! and thanks man will definitely have a great time!

  • This is my dream

  • it's actually vegetarian sushi... no raw fish, but even so, you can often score freshly discarded items that are still cold. whew.

  • Oh please say you did not get that sushi out of the garbage! I know some things the stores toss are okay but not sushi!! It can kill you! Please at least smell everything first k? Ewww..

  • sweet keep it up

  • Who says "gross, sushi!" it's delicious!

  • You inspire me

  • wow

  • Sublime

  • My dear sir, this video is awesome. It doesn't offer much in the way of tips, but it does show how great it can be. I think this video has furthered my own designs for biking travel - thank you!

  • sweeeeet!!

  • impressive riding!! stay safe dude

  • oh man, that looked like a scary shoulder you were riding on up that hill. All it takes is some driver not paying attention for two seconds to ruin your day.

  • CLint, come back SD before you go Kauai

  • love you, clint! Keep up HIS GOOD WORK
