Maybe you don't notice patterns, but once teams like VT have adapted a high quality coaching staff, they don't settle for a lesser quality when one of the coaches calls quits. In my opinion our season ended after that huge win against BC getting revenge and proving we were the better team, and when we found out we got screwed out of the national championship by a team that had lost like 1 week before the final rankings. Maybe you don't notice patterns, but once teams like VT have adapted a high quality coaching staff, they don't settle for a lesser quality when one of the coaches calls quits. When the time comes, we will find a very worthy replacement for Bud Foster. Maybe we aren't great, but we certainly are getting there. And yes we do think it's amazing that we are better than UVA...it's called RIVALRY. For a Wahoo you definitely don't think before you speak.

Since Evans went down, VT has had RBs go down in the past (Kevin Jones, Branden Ore) and the replacement has always stepped up big. VT is not that. 0NC's in football a 7-14 bowl record, the Vicks have come from there...its a good football team but not a National contender this year and prob the next 5 years. Beamer is a great coach ill admit that hes amazing but VT football in general is just good not great.

VT is not a national power house and has never been. to be a national power house you have to first off be consistanly good, and not lose to all the good teams you face[LSU,UGA,Kansas,FSU,BC,USC] and another thing is you have to have a NC, not just play for one and get your ass kicked. You are wrong in so many places. VT also beat LSU, FSU, BC (twice in acc champ) and were a horrendous call away from beating USC's best team ever with VT's youngest team ever. VT was leading FSU going into the 4th quarter. That was a back and forth game in the 1999 Championship.

Any Virginia Tech fan knows that the Kansas game was nothing more than an anti-climax to our season. In my opinion our season ended after that huge win against BC getting revenge and proving we were the better team, and when we found out we got screwed out of the national championship by a team that had lost like 1 week before the final rankings. We didn't even want to play Kansas and Kansas was so pumped abotu having a BCS game when we were pissed that we weren't in the ship.
