Works great!!! I wonder if it will work with black cartridges???? It is incredible how HP wants to control us buying only their products.. I WILL NEVER BUY HP AGAIN!!!! no one will force me to buy specific cartridges.... Shame on HP!!!
@specialformula14 read clearly what i said before, the little battery inside the printer is not used to keep count of cartridge use, its the chip on the ink cartridge. removing the printer battery can only clear system settings, but NOT ink levels/count.
@specialformula14 what battery? in an ink cartridge? no battery there. in your printer? depending on the printer, it may hold fax/network or other settings, but NOTHING about ink usage/counting. a good lot you did yourself.
nope .. my battery was on the side with the sd card readers.. took the side panel off.. unbolted the side mobo... was 5 screws .. battery was on underside... took it out a few minutes.. i actually powered it on with the battery removed.. the printer wouldn't work.. shut it off.. put battery back in .. and the cartridges worked fine..
I've been told that if you briefly disable the internal battery of the HP printer and then connect it, it will erase the memory of the used cartridge giving it a fresh start. Is this true?
do you have how to refill hp 704

I HAVE AN HP B209. it takes the 564 ink cart.
i have seen a video drilling the top and inserting ink.
do u recommend this technique. how many times can i reuse the same cartridge. how do the cis systems get around using the same cartridge many times

this sounds more legit than the others ive seen on here(battery or "button" ones) the color carts thing makes sense to me.

so yes u can rea fill any ink cart of these type..
u just have to reaset the mem in your printer.. take the batt on and power up .. then off and put battery back in..
i should make a vic.. just need to unbolt a side pannel off your printer.

its a battery in your printer..
its a gimic hp made to make u buy more ink

dude.. learn about the printer...
the ink carts have expirery... and then u plug it in the printer .. the printer saves this info ..
taking the battery out of the (printer ) and reaseting the mem.makes the printer think its a new cartridge..
read the forums.. im right and i have done this to prove it..
all the printers that take this style of cartridge have this memory catching info on the mobo of the printer.
