What people don't seem to understand is how dangerous inmates can really be. You will never stop people from going to prison, ever. Its just not possible, sorry. Even with programs and schooling, many inmates won't change. if we werent in iraq (not placing blame on soldiers, just the government) no one would be complaining about the completely necessary 5 million dollar fence to keep serial killers and child molesters in prison.

you'd think with 175 millino dollar budget they could get some flat screens for safety reasons. I mean those big computers they have in the main tower have more material and can be manipulated by a inmate to break out. The flat screens are less material and less likely to be used for weapons.

There are very obvious fatal flaws to this prison,nowhere is "inescapeable",this buildings flaws is its reliance on technology.The more technology you add the more there is to fail and the easier it becomes to defeat.For example the RFID technology used by the facility to open and close the doors,negating the need for keys is an obvious weakness.Software is the biggest "key" to this place,all software is defeatable,if people can break into the pentagon via the internet,they can get in here.

@femaleinessex I believe that in Part 1 of this video, they stated that the construction started in 2000, and that the first 2 parts of the NBCI would be operational by 2007, with the total construction spanning about a decade, which means that it [should] be done sometime this year, although you'd probably have to Google it for more info.
