  • Wow I would be exhausted...

  • What is your opinion with the eotech xps3-2 or exps3-2, that uses the two dots in the circle? Does it get busy? I didn't like the exps3-4 with the four dots, but can you distinctly see each dot seperate when not using the eotech 3magnifier and xps3-2? Can you still see the lower part of the target (the hands) or does the bottom dot block your site? I am looking for your opinion for using in CQB as well as reaching out 200 to 400 yards. Thanks,

  • The Answer to Dodge vs Ford is Chevy. This video makes me want an AK to keep my AR company. Nice job on this series I'd like to see more of Heckles, Serenity, Ghost and even Yebache as we haven't seen those guys in the project lately.

  • I loved the ripped blue paper target.

  • Nutnfancy, what is the concept of double tap and how is it useful to shooters in various scenarios.

  • who owns this land you shoot on?

wish i had a place like this to do this type of training.

  • Nothing like a Nutnfancy video when i have my plate of dinner and my Desktop surround sound system. Gunshots ringing throughout the house haha.

Cops will understand..if not.. GEAR CHECK!

  • Hey just so you dont get that weird echo effect, have someone clap in front of both cameras at the same time before the run.

  • Nutnfancy, who makes that fleece jacket your wearing and where can I purchase a jacket like that?

    -RamBowMike

  • @RamBowMike I believe its the Condor Soft Shell, he has a review on it.

  • I have a 78 dodge and it rocks---lol

  • All you guys are making me tired just watching this.

  • I've been on the fence about buying the SLR-21 but after watching your other video review of the SLR and now watching it in action. I believe the SLR has earned a placed in my budgeting agenda.

and I really enjoyed this video keep the good stuff rolling Nutn :D

  • @Nikolai553 These are actually the SGLs, the stamped reciever gun, not the milled SLRs, but the slrs could only be better (In everything but weight and cost.)

  • Question: for a challenge, would you run and gun with a Highpoint carbine to test it's capabilities ?

  • is nutn doing a drive by xD

    :p

  • @mosniper831 A pretty slow one at that! At least they can hit something unlike the movies!! :D

    ~cpahunter123

  • Great video and well put together guys!

  • What thigh rig is the guy with the HK .45 running? Not the usp the other one

  • haha nice smack talk on the last round :p

  • looks very fun, good range. i think you guys need to talk to each other more in teams, over the rounds and refs

  • sweet vid! looks like a challenging, difficult, long, and fucking awesome course of fire you guys have setup there.

  • this looks like an amazing course to run too bad i cant find many ranges down here in south florida

  • @BigLuigi11889 Contact your local PD that retains a SWAT team. They may not let you use thier tac-house but will allow you to use thier rifle range...usually. I usually do a 20$ donation to the range when I put rounds downrange in Orange.

  • Lmao @ Nutn, Good reloads bro, I tried out a buddy's, takes awhile to get a feel for it. I'm definitely sold on a SGL-21 Saiga.. just not sure whether to go quad rail or just for the addon like yours. Just going to run an eotech, but I'd like to add a light for night.

  • Lol search AK reloads on youtube, some crazy ones... I'd like to see it done in run and gun. Though I am curious if it's effective technique to use the next mag to actuate the mag release on the weapon..

  • Lol search AK reloads on youtube, some crazy ones... I'd like to see it done in run and gun. Though I am curious if it's effective technique to use the next mag to actuate the mag release on the weapon..

  • Im not very certain on how the teams are moving around in relationship to the fire and to the moving positioning of the enemy.

How is his team managing the line of fire when you have enemies ALSO and sudenly coming from 9 or 3 o'clock? what if some of your teammates are far away close to enemy's front line so it get hard to tell the difference ...

A SCHEMATIC MAP of your TACTICAL spawns or whatever is called would be very helpfull to understand better what you a re doing !!!

  • what model is the eotech sight on the AR 15?

  • cover me while i move! got you covered! good to see your military training transfer into the civilian role as well

  • Nice M4!!

  • This was very very special--powerful!!! you guys rock---thats why you´re the best armed forces in the world, congrats

  • I generally dislike nutnfancy videos but these kinds are pretty good.

  • Was that AK chambered in 5.45 or 7.62? It mentioned the Muzzle break being for ak74 but the magazine looked like ak47.

  • 7.62, these arsenals come with a ak74-style flash hider/muzzle brake.

  • Does 13:24 mean that we should be expecting any HK45 or USP45 reviews? I've got a P30 and i ABSOLUTELY love the Ergonomics. I know you've always preferred your Sig for the upper end 'pay for the name' manufacturer, but I really think the HK45 and the P30 would give the P226 a run for it's money.

  • @SFRabie

Ahhhh, I think the Sig costs less than the HK, and HK trades on its name; judging by previous TNP comments .

  • If you use the Tap TUG Rack drill on reloads then you never get caught with a non seated mag. First Rap fresh mag home then give the new mag a little tug to be sure your seated, then rack hence tap tug rack. Or Tap Tug Rack Bang!!

    Shoot, Move.............Live!!

  • ...I am not a rice buner fan,but when it comes to 4WD Toyota(I don´t know about the full size) is probably the best...you can get an X-military Mercedes 4WD too,but then you need to rebuild it yourself.....but I had a 2WD 4 cyl Ford Ranger, and it realy took some beatings.....the 3 full size Americans just use to much fuel for my taste, and money...

  • is the arsenalak that you have in 7.62 or 5.45

  • 7.62

  • 7.62 otherwise his holes wouldnt have been bigger

  • Man, Nutn's ability to hit those plates at that range, especially under stress is impressive!

What I do to simulate stress while I'm at the range is a lot of jumping jacks and push ups out in the lobby, There is definitely a discernable difference under stress.

  • can you tell me where you got that scope mount for that ak?

  • @bobbycbella you can get a UTG GEN 3 AK side mount for about 30buck aircraft aluminum i got 2 of them on my saiga 223 and 12

  • thanks.

  • @bobbycbella Now I cant be 100% sure but in the description it says he is using an Arsenal SGL21-72. From a previous video he looks at Arsenal booth at shot show and likes some of there product from K-Var. The mags look like K-Var mags and the mount looks like the K-Var mount so I'm going to guess its a K-Var mount. They are a little pricey but every thing K-Var sells is extremely high quality.

  • hey thanks, I appreciate it.

  • my dream is that one day i can improve my shooting skill to be qualified to shoot with you man

  • hey for guys out there, a question:

i have a multicam BDU, however i'm stuck between getting a OD or tan vest. What is your opinion? I would get multicam for a vest however it would break my budget.

  • Can I be on your team when TSHTF!!?

  • another quality vid nutn!!!!!

more people should train like you and not just stick to range work.

    practice makes perfect

    keep it up

  • BRIAN ,Thank you for making my point . alot of shooters - gun guys never make it out of the range or try to shoot while pined down by 3 or 4 guys .i was just sayin .anyways I love the tnp and have much respect for how it helps spark more intrest in tactical shooting.I just know guys who are "pros" and have never tried shooting from cover weak handed scraped up and out of breath.Hey Nutn love the backpacking vids .keep up the good work .Brian and jake thanks for dropping some truth .

  • @abombthedestroyer Anytime!! Just keeping it real, and having fun doing it!

  • I like the AK because they can use nearly any other AK magazine with no problems and they are not picky with ammo either.

  • Nutn's BTDT, he used to play airsoft and paintball 'till he developed some knee-issues.

I'd bet my bottom dollar you'd be one not-too-happy, totally-lit-up guy :) Just saying...

  • @abombthedestroyer Really??? Do you know me?? I will take that challenge any day of the week! You need to remember that most people who choose to train for tactical situations usually use multiple platforms....including airsoft and paintball for force on force. Keep it safe, Brian

  • Everyone has to figure out their load out, but I would like to see more comments from the shooters on why they set up rigs the way they do. For me it is about keeping distance short from mag to gun on reloads, avoiding akward bends and twists. I think a series of vids on technique{s} would be great.

  • @John944t

That would be a phenominal idea. I like to keep everything right in front of me in chest pouches like a WW1 type rig. In my opinion, thats the quickest way to get to your gear in a split second. Both in an AirSoft skirmish and on the range. Maybe there will be something in the future.

  • Nutn,

Love the scenarios you do like this one, "Breaking contact". Some may criticize, but until you do this, you have no idea how much confusion and distraction can creep in to shooting. And it takes a lot of practice to get communication and coordination down between a team of two, and worse for teams of four. I used to do some IPSSC , and scenarios on my mountain property with my buds. Please do more of these.

  • Hey what happened to Nuggetbuster? He's awesome. I miss his commentary and method of engagement. =)

  • @Forgoten214 he is fliming

  • guys got to lose some weight before you do this

  • or they could do what you do, and not lose some weight before you dont do this? Really, save comments like that for videos where people aren't trying hard to do something real.

  • @MrChompenstein AMEN!!! Very well said! Brian

  • I bought my first AR because of you and your influence...and my first Kershaw, Cold Steel Recon, Tac-vest, and more to come. Success on the internet is directly related to content, and you sir have a body of knowledge and the ability to relay that knowledge in a way that I and many others can not get enough of. Hats off Nutn. You are number one in my book. And you're evidently a fellow aviator, which makes me like you even more. You rock!

  • Jeremy (I think thats your name), can you please STFU. I have never criticized Nutnfancy's run-n-guns and I still ain't', but your comments are offensive. If you guys like to spend your weekends playing GIJoe with live ammo, that is fine with me. Who the hell are you to tell me how to shoot? I hear all the time you guys talking about "elitists". Your comments were VERY elitist.

  • @321twinstick20 Who are you talking too? Are you getting upset at the guy in the video or did you just need a place to vent some anger???

  • @lti12 Don't you think this is one of the most badass ways to lose the weight? Use your brain.

  • Jog about 200 yards up to the firing line and place a cup on top of a post then start you shooting drill.. Makes everything more real with the excitment and shaking.

  • I'm pissed that I sold off my sgl-21. I still have a saiga I've yet to convert and a Hungarian sa-85. people told me to keep the Hungy anyway because it was better quality than the Saigas.

  • @julebuggy Nah, you did the right thing. Just buy an AR - the scopes don't fall off, the safety is workable, the magazine chamber is easy to reload, it is accurate, etc etc. The AR uses the similar size round that the Ruskies and Chicoms are moving to; thats why there are so many old type AKs on the market now.

Oh, and the old AK round (7.62) drops over 2 ft at 300 yd. So if you are aiming for something on the first floor, just aim for the 2nd floor instead.

  • @g1sfo

Are you trying to say that an ak scope will fall off, that you cant´t use the safety, that it´s difficult to get a magazine in the magwell (not chamber ffs) that a quality ak is inaccurate? Get real, get som experience and then come back.

  • @sgthl Watch the vid dude. Get real, get some experience. The vids are real. Don't come back till you study the vids.

  • @g1sfo

I used a quality ak ,(finnisk RK62) in the army, i have all the expericence i need. You obviously don´t.

  • I have both, but I prefer AKs marginally over ARs. If I want accuracy that is close or equal to that of an AR, I go to my sgl31. If I want power without dropoff, I go to the converted Saiga 308. Let's face it...we wouldn't shoot enemies from sandbag rests and I don't care about competitions other than to work on my accuracy with my favorite rifle, which is once again the AK action. Nothing against my AR, great invention...just not liking the .223 that much.

  • @julebuggy If you get ready to convert the Saiga, Let me know. Hopefully we will have some teaser footage of one of our converted Saigas up on the page soon. I would love to help you out when the time comes.....depending on where you are located;) Brian

  • My 308 was finished last week. Gonna get a range report and probably film it. Stay tuned!

  • @julebuggy Awesome! Hopefully it runs great and you can get some good footage. Let me know if you want us to do your next one. B

  • Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

  • theres alot of places around roswell nm that are well suited for this kind of exercise.box canyons and valleys on BLM land.

  • i completely agree, dodge vs ford arguments would be stupid, we all know chevy is the best :D

seriously great job on this, looks like a ton of fun, gonna have to get out there and do some of this when i get the chance.

great training, and whats not to love about trucks and shooting guns, could only be more manly if everyone had beers and beards

question, how do you feel about the prone position in these situations, could it help compensate breathing? Also, any tactical long range coming? :)

  • well in most cases, they can't go prone because the brush is so high.

  • ya i think thats true, but id also say that in some of the cases you are still going to be able to see where the targets are from prone, and be able to hit them through the bushes. Nutn said the AK at least was getting through the bushes w/o any problems

id also suggest that the lack of prone might also have something to do with them being out their for 5 hours and Nutn at least has a bad knee so i could see how that would get old really fast. Just saving it for when its necessary maybe?

  • Loved this series! Thats how to spend the day!

  • it looks a hell of alot of fun. you are so lucky ot have vast open terrain to do this sort of thing.

im really glad that you pointed out that this type of shooting is better for the range than for real life situations. no one mentions this.

i also noticed you guys equip yourselves properly. using simple chest rigs etc. instead of bogging yourself down with acessories and tacticool gear. a real nice change of pace

and man that ak74 brake really does the trick huh?

    thanks for posting this.

  • Hehe, i remember during the Finnish championships we had to shot from a car, i managed to shoot the driver seat mirror with a doubletap : P

  • Im not much of a front grip fan and i dont see they're use on single fire, even quick fire. But arn't they good to fight the barrel heat aswell?

  • Was wondering which muzzle brake you used on your AK? I liked it, look pretty sweet

  • Its the standard AK74 compensator

  • great vid i actually watched the whole thing

  • HUGE props to the TNP for this and other great vids! Thank you for the time and resources that you've dedicated for this. No one else puts together run-n-guns like this. Outside of things like Magpul's Carbine movies, no one else can touch you with the quality of your work. Thanks again.

  • better reload that pistol

  • nutn what was the time on your last round? Very nice shooting! I like this.

  • are those pmags from magpul on the ak 47

  • Nope, I believe they're Belgian. Check out his Arsenal AK video from SHOT show, he shows and talks about them toward the end.

  • damn, I cannot type worth crap! :)

  • Hey Guys..LOVED the video! no script, no re-dos, just friends training, shooting, and having fun...safely!! Send that ARMS mount to LaRue, and he will send you a FREE one of his, if it is indded broken or sub-par...email me for more info...I'd love to run with you guys! No desert nerby for me :( I'm going to check out the rest of your stuff now...good shooting!

  • I'm diggin the double screen.

  • Since I have started watching your videos I have started to run and gun and it is an entirely different ball game. I love it because I feel like I get more real training from it and I use less ammo.

  • Nutn....is that your SGL?? With a micro red dot or a m2/m3 with a low mount you would probably have a lot better luck with the AK.

I have been thinking about picking up a SGL in 7.62 or maybe 5.45 to go with my In range built 74. I am still an AR guy at heart but I love my AK's as well.

  • Glad to see I'm not the only SOB to shoot pistol right handed and using my left eye. HA! Great vid and great runs!!

  • Eye'm the same way, Hobbes!

  • hey nutnfancy, great vids. like to hear some opinions on carbines chambered for pistol calibers versus rifle calibers. maybe a review of a beretta cx4 storm vs an .223 carbine?

  • When I see nutn switch from his trigger finger to his middle finger I know I'm about to see some rapid fire. Sweet.

Never tried that. I'll will next time I shoot.

  • Good observation! I get excited too!

  • Yes, I SOOO fully agree - I'd love nothing more than being able to see 30-minute vids of imbeciles lighting up their farts in HD :P

    It's plain unfair!

Seriously, dude, start posting GOOD content, become a YouTube partner and you'll be able to post 45 minute HD vids.

Everyone is being treated equally, everyone is given the chance of becoming a YT partner.

  • You mean I can post longer videos because I'm a partner?

Cool, I'll have to try it out.

  • @jake262144 But how? I've asked 3 different people how to become a YouTube partner. I cant figure out how. Help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    -Cody

  • Cody, ever tried googling the phrase "how to become YouTube partner"? :)

    It's all there bro.

    Also, check youtube/partners .

    Good luck!

Conan, by all means please do, I can't wait for another goodie. Those knives of your making are just exquisite in their classical beauty.

  • Hey, thanks for the help man.

  • how the hell did you post a 45min video that is also in HD

  • Is the SGL-21 considered an Ak-47 or an Ak-74 ? I thought an Ak-74 fired a

.223 round, but the Arsenal website says 7.62x39. And @ 40:18 he says "30 caliber Ak rounds". Could someone clarify?

  • @BiologicalUnit2380

    Considered an AK47 variant

    AK-74 fires the 5.45 round

the AK-47 fires the 7.62X39 which is very close in caliber to 30, approx .311

  • Ah! Thanks for the clarification, Killa.

  • There's an AK version in 5.56nato / .223 produced by Arsenal Inc. They're known as the SLR106 rifles. It would be nice to own all the flavors ~ 7.62x39, 5.56x45, &, 5.45x39. Of course, it would equally nice to own all the flavors of AR's too :-D ~ yes, there are actually variants in 7.62x39 & 5.45x39, besides 5.56x45, 6.5x39, 6.8x43, & 7.62x51. The 6mm variant are very appealing but the ammo availability & price is a hinderance ~ unless your big time into reloading brass.

  • Thanks for the clarification, Everett.

  • What you do can not be measured for its value to the American public. You by far are a stand out.

  • Granted I acknowledge that's something you can't exactly train for as it would be costly and even dangerous to a degree with actual rounds. But I think that your confusing your training course setup as an actual realistic engagement from what you said in the sidebar, even though that's contrary to the stuff you said in Armed Serenity and other such events. I'd just be careful about what you learn in your drills to real engagements as they aren't the same. Like video games and real war.

  • @roffelskates

It is so sad that you can post those comments. You are ignorant and you do not get the concept of what Nutn is doing. Please do not post any additional comments as your posts just show how much of an idiot you are.

  • How am I being ignorant for supplying a different point of view? I never said Nutn is objectively wrong, I just don't agree with what he is saying that fast reloads don't count for much. I just think and advise nutnfancy as an observer that he shouldn't confuse real combat for his drills, in that what he learns from his drills where max accuracy matters is different from actual engagements. I am a big nutnfancy fan, but everyone doesn't have to agree with everything he does and he sees that.

  • "he shouldn't confuse real combat for his drills" How exactly do you train for "real combat"? Doesn't all training/Drills take place in a controlled environment, away from the battlefield? In actual combat you don't get a chance to train, you just fight for your life and hope that your "drills" and training pay off. This type of training is essential if you plan to survive actual combat, team or no team, fast reload or slow reload, etc.

  • That's why I ACKNOWLEDGE that it's not something that you can practically train from. I agree with nutnfancy 100% that it's better than nothing and better than bench rest shooting, however I would take what I learn from the drills with a grain of salt and not put too much emphasis on changing tried and true combat lessons from army manuals because of what he learned shooting paper targets. That's the whole point of my comment.

  • Can you give me a little insight into your combat experience? I would like to know what you are basing your comment on.

  • Are you even reading what I'm saying or are you just looking to rail on someone? My combat experience has nothing to do with what I'm saying. What I was saying if you were READING is that not to trust what you learn from drills when it relates to a doctrine of firefighting set up by a foundation of real world experience reflected in fire and maneuver tactics.

  • I have read every word of your comments and that is the reason that I ask where you are drawing all of your knowledge from. Most drills are used to teach skills that are critical for actual combat, so if we don't "trust what we learn from drills when it relates to a doctrine of firefighting" then why would drills exist. I am not trying to rail on you, but just trying to understand such a bold statement.

  • The bold statement that I just don't agree with some things he says?

  • @roffelskates This comment "not to trust what you learn from drills when it relates to a doctrine of firefighting set up by a foundation of real world experience reflected in fire and maneuver tactics." is what I was talking about, to me it sounds like you are drawing from a deep foundation of these tactics.....so I asked.....nuff said

  • The deep foundation that has been part of the US army since WW2 is what I'm talking about. All I am saying is that he shouldn't take what he learns from shooting paper targets to replace what people have been saying a long time coming from a foundation of several wars in US army history. It's just not the same.

  • Airsoft is the closest thing to real combat that you can train on.

  • @fdofhsaiuhshgiu Unless you get a hold of simunition rounds.

  • Except those are inaccurate, expensive, messy, and dangerous...

  • That too.

  • @fdofhsaiuhshgiu Are you a moron or just a 10 year old?

  • Which one of my comments is this directed at?

  • Super fast reloads don't count for much? I don't think I agree with that because a consistent rate of fire on the enemy is paramount to the fireteam doctrine of fire and maneuver. But given the individualist nature of how you train (Not really in fire team squads of 4) I could see how you would say that. Rounds on target is important, but in real life your not going to have a full human body to shoot, your going to have to maneuver for that shot by suppression and flanking.

  • I love all the "actual" series of videos. Great stuff!

  • "State Department lifts ban on exports of night-vision goggles - Washington Times"

All from the "Obamao" administration which wants to destroy our legitimate 2nd Amendment rights, yet it's ok to now export night vision optics overseas which will end up in the hands of our enemies putting our military at risk.

  • MSNBC Ex-cop pleads guilty in Katrina shootings...Federal documents say he protected fellow officers by falsifying report. In a situation such as Katrina (without out the rule law), even the "law" has the potential to be no better than a gang of thugs...."Federal investigators say former Lt. Four other people were wounded".
