  • How much did you spend ? I'm thinking of making my own

  • @MrZeak for this one about, 300 total, but you can get by for less, especially if you make your neck.

  • cool gsa 20 lol

  • "Here's my home made guitar," He says as he shows an ibanez neck. that was misleading :P And you didn't even play it!

  • NICE guitar

  • i would have jused a vibrato-arm system...

  • Nice job!

  • Nice looking Guitar! I hope You reversed that Tunomatic bridge slant correctly.

    Nice job Man.

  • sweet build dude, one thing thou, the stop tail is waaay too far away from the bridge,i have a les paul copy that im in the process of replacing the hardware with black hardware and the pick ups switched to either emgs or seymour duncan screamin demon in bridge and jb in the neck

  • if i was him i would probally try spray painting that guitars body matte black and put some red glow coming from the bottom left and it would look AWSOME!!

  • the body is WAYYYY too small for the neck. Probably why you've got the trouble with the bridge.

  • nice, the stop bar is a little low and i really like the "sunburst" style you did, it's pretty cool for just $100 bucks or so

  • how did you cut out the flying v body part out, did you use computer technology or cut it out by hand

  • i used a jig saw it came out not as straight as it should have been but it looks good i dont use a computer for guitar building? do you mean like a cnc machine?

  • that guitar`s a joke

  • iv just made a ibanez neck like yours only i just cut a squire head stock/

  • lol wow! people ca be asses ok first its a pain in the ass as to make the body. second maby not every one has a rich family like u pricks do. he did a damn good job on this so what if he used other parts big deal im making one right not and ill posting pics of i and im using a first act nect and pine wood so what lets see u make one............ thats what i thought shut up sit back and give him credit dicks....

  • nice attempt?

  • looks cool . i have the ibanez gsa60

  • ouch that tune-o-matic doesnt look too great :/

  • @ashovlhe2008

ive fixed it since this video now there are two small wood blocks that are the same colour as the red that hold the tune o matic up and it looks alot better

  • You can't really call this homemade.. sure, you put it together, but you didn't make the neck, you didn't make the bridge, you didn't make the pickup.. I've built guitars I did all of those.

  • @DjinnJuggler

lol do yo do this too all the "homemade" guitar videos you see?

  • @AHScrewedu yes. if they're "homemade" like this anyway.

  • You say you made a homemade guitar from the groud up... Why don't you post a video of it if you're such hot shit?

  • @Alphastyx7 because my camera records 30 seconds to 200 mb...

  • @DjinnJuggler

ive made guitars where i make the neck and body but it is impossable to build a guitar from scratch because first you must create the universe

  • @94guitar08 lol. I'll just say "Improvised guitar", as in, you don't go out and buy guitar parts, you use NON GUITAR parts and turn them into A GUITAR

  • @94guitar08 HELL YEAH YOU DO, CARL SAGAN FTW! Dood you rule, nice guitar man! I like the classy finish.

  • @DjinnJuggler Looks like you were able to record other videos with that camera. Your just full of it. The only thing you have built is the raggedy ass piece of shit on your channel that you call a guitar.

  • @Alphastyx7 well actually, video posted now.

  • nice...check out my explorer i just built

  • ugly..but very cool :)

  • 'Cause that's probably harder.

  • I believ the intonation is not set, because the tune-o-matic is set wrong

  • Looks good. I am just wondering though what type of wood are you using for the body and where did you get it?

  • great work man!

looks beutiful as well as mean! ;)

  • my steinberger has 24 frets ha! XD

  • i made his ha! XD

  • @94guitar08

    +1 for you,

    HA

  • @zezimaownzrofl Your a homo sexual. Yea he made this so go suck on me ball sack!

  • bipolar much?

  • Not like you need to play on the 24th, I read somewhere intonation problems can occur with 24, also.

  • @zezimaownzrofl Steinbergers are shit. Ha!

  • its a bubinga strip on the back of the neck you dumb ass and you mounted the stop bar tail piece way to far back.

  • the stop bar tail piece i jacked upp yuu need to put on sum glasses

  • what?

  • the bridge is really out of his real place

  • how are you supposed to make a decent guitar with 200 dollars? Even small mods cost a fortune, my current project is worth about 700 dollars, when it's done the collective cost will be a little over 1700 dollars.

Good job though, I like the color.

  • well 200 bucks makes a mahogany neck with really cheap tuning machines and a poplar body and a maple fret board and such but i dont make any money off of it if i was looking to make money i would sell a nicer model with nicer parts for like 700

  • mine cost me around $65. check out my video. search homemade guitar and its the first one. Its a white V.

  • dude ive seen that video like 30 times its a nice guitar good job and this guitar cost me around 200 but the one i just made at school (firebird look for a video soon) only cost about $130

  • what kind of wood did you use and were did you buy it?

  • i used oak for the body and a neck from another guitar and i bought the oak from menards for like 17 bucks ( oak isnt really a guitar wood but i didnt know that)

  • how do you know how apart do you put the pickups and stuff

  • i own other guitars and got the measurements from them but now i make guitars with only one pickup and that is very easy to do because you only have to worry about one lining up right

  • dude that stopbar is way to close to the edge

  • i really like it where its at and its been tuned up and played for a year in that spot and hasn't broken yet so its all good so far

  • haha do you seriusly think anyone would give yo lyrics with potential ?:P, just så yo could make millions in the future . sorry dude , dont hold yor breath

  • I made a guitar, the one I made on YouTube is OK for the stuff I had to use for it. The one I have built recently ain't on YouTube yet and still needs to be worked on, but the design is one of a kind.

  • maybe the stop bar is too far off on the body but hey if it works for you..good job

  • Thats a really small scale. You could also glue clamp two pieces of hardwood together, more size would give you more freedom with the shape.I know that hardwood isn't available in a big chunk at the hardwood stores, thats why two pieces is better. You could also strip the paint on the neck and use wood dowels at the joint between neck and body to make it a glued set neck with a small contour wood piece to let it go smooth from neck heel to body ,then paint it all one color.Just sayin..

  • haha or i could just build another haha

  • thats relly cool i bet when you but the tail piece on you were like oh fuck thats close its looks wikid im makeing too good luke in the nere future

  • dude, dont you know what a drill is? you can drill holes in the body for the bridge you know...

  • dude do you know the reasons why i didnt drill holes

because the body is hollow under the bridge location and the bridge came with posts but no inserts for the body so it wouldnt work

  • it was a first, so take it as a learning experience... next time you do a hollow or semi-hollow body just put some bracing under the top where the bridge will go. nicely done btw.

  • hm would you want me to pay you for making this guitar???

  • depending on if i made the neck or you just wanted me to build the body it would be 200 for body with no electronics 300 with electronics and 550 with electronics and neck but the price will go up or down depending on paint design body design wood choice pickup choice and fretless or with frets or scalloped

  • Pretty good for a first! Come check mine out...

  • thanks i am finishing my fourth guitar tonight and it is really nice

  • what wood is the body? cuz if its a light wood like basswood id be pretty careful with the stop piece especially so close to the end

  • oak i know its not a tone wood but it sounds good

  • i didnt even know making homemade guitars was wow this inspires me...my grandpa and aunt of mine have a wood shop that i could borrow and maybe possibly attemp to make one!

  • dude totally go for it it is a load of fun and my recomendation is buy a guitar and just make your own body first and then go for another guitar later and try making the neck and body it is a load of fun

  • can you make a sound video for this guitar please! and btw nice guitar

  • nice i made guitar too and i want to make like alexi 600 but i made like gibsons flying v XD anyway sweet guitar

  • pretty good, my friend did something like that with a jackson neck, thanks for the comment

  • dude remove the ibanez tag............why do you give credit of your hard work to that company?

  • i didnt make the neck they did but since the video i have put a skicker over it but keep in mind i did not make the neck

  • i think its cool to see it there. i mean its a rhodes shape guitar with an ibanez neck. if you google Ibanez Proline V youll see that u have a near replica. i was thinking of making one for my first build. i just ordered a purpleheart bodyblank and i have templates for an ibanez jem 777 neck with the contour like yours. ima try to make it a set neck tho. idk ill see what happens. cool to see your work tho. looks cool for a homemade guitar

  • cool man. Im building a guitar right now to. Its maple and purple heart wood. Nice job though . not bad for a first home made guitar

  • gggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggguuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • goooouuuuuuuuddddddddd

  • I love the color and the shape, especially the red stain.

  • you could of done a umm...just a stop bar like on a warlock

  • so well

  • how did u paint it?

  • why Stop Bar Tail piece?

  • because if i had to put in a floyd rose or even a whammy system it would be really tuff to do

  • floyd rose is the god of whammy!!

  • transtrem bro

  • I tried Kahler, they rock, too!

  • DUDE THATS FREAKING BADASS good JOB BRO

  • One thing you might wanna consider is moving the cord plug in to the front of the guitar. it can be pain to play a V style guitar with the cord right there, especially when practicing if you like to sit down cause it gets in the way.
