In 1977 Plunky and Oneness of JuJu played at Petersburg High School when they were in Richmond Va. Where has the rest of the World been. I could have told you they were bad years ago. This is one of my all time favorite tracks.
I think i may have been in Concord or Salisbury driving in the car listening to Michael Baisden. When i heard the funky beat i blasted the volume on the radio. It took me two days to get through to the radio station to find out the name and artist
This joint reminds me of the last jam he played at PBS in1978 or so. Fonz and I got there late but we dance the doors off the station. Good Lords will I'll DANCE AGAIN AT ONENESS AFFAIR. I don't remember the song it just sound good saying it. The only paper I got from JMHS was for dancing the baby boy had skills. LOL. Still going to school thirty years later. Thanks Plunky for the class you bring to the game.
MTV would be terrified to put this video on..I got turned on to it by a myspace pal from Ohio..wouldhave never heard with all that rap crap that's being presented as the only black peoples music..this stuuf here is REALLY REAL!!!THANK THE LORD FOR IT!!!
I love this jam here makes me wish I was at that party with all that funk and sexy laides great song
