I love this record. My opinion on Lauper's single not being a huge hit like Gaga's candy songs, or anything put out my Aunt Ciccone, is b/c Cyndi allowed herself to fade from the spotlight. Once you do that, it's hard as hell to get it on you again. Most had no idea this was her when it came out and many still don't, especially the mostly under 30 club-goers. Better they don't b/c they will stereotype it. Also, being gay and out doesn't help. This is mostly a gay club fave.
