Will be flying with Eva again in 3wks LHR - BKK, they always my first choice to BKK, direct flight , good value , good IFE personal screen in economy (unlike Thai Airways 1 big screen for everyone will never fly with thai again!) Eva food is not the best but always drinks and snacks avalable in the galley, Eva nice relaxed ambiece when boarding, unlike Ethiad very erartic , also Ethiad makes me nervous about delay, they alway have an excuse. So glad Eva have the 777 300ER back on this route.

Ive flown CX and it is way superior then BR. C'mon CX is a 5 star airline like SIA.

just the heads up, there is no foot rest in their new economy. Only in Deluxe class

Do they still offer instant noodles? Their food was not that tasty and since I got sick, it just made it all worse.

honesty i dont know. when i fly EVA i would pay extra and sit in deluxe class.....so yea i would not know if regular economy has a footrest or not. and yes they still serve instant noodles.

Taiwanese guy here too. My infrequent visits (I've only been back in Taiwan twice since 2001) were always on EVA Air. One thing though, the music in the background that starts around 0:28 into the video... any idea where I can find this exact theme? It's very comforting and brings back memories. :)

oooh so lucky you!! if you fly EVA Air 747-400 Combi you dont have personal TV, but,,,, if you fly from MAY you will be served in 777-300!!!

That is B747 and departure at 12.50, Now The EVA Air usually use B777-300ER for BR392 from SGN to TPE

Yes i flew Elite class, thats why i was excited to see that we had the new seats instead of the old deluxe class. EVA has pretty average looking cabin crew, their service was ok not great. Indeed nothing like SIA
