There are people who believe that Haiti is in Africa but we are in the caribbean. We do have a majority black population but we do have a small percentage of white, mulatto, jews and arabs that are also Haitians. Some people even went as far to say that our Miss Haiti is not Haitian but Dominican. Please comment if you will.

@GmanZouk But there is nothing wrong if they believe Haiti is in Africa. In fact Africa is more diverse than Haiti itself. They have various people that look differently. This girl is not White. she is mixed obviously but not entirely White. It is an honor actually to believe that Haiti is in Africa. Have you seen the Ethiopians and women form Africa they are gorgeous.

Because here we have more whites and mixed people, the "international community" has GREATLY invested in DR. I guarantee you, if Haiti had a more diversed population (more whites and mixed), it would be like DR.
